I fell in love with Westside Marketplace at their Toco Hills location a few years back. Because there are hundreds of storefronts from different artists/collectors/entrepreneurs, the experience is always unique. However, regardless of whether you're looking for vintage books, furniture, artwork, jewelry, clothing or any this ing in between, you are going to find some good options or inspiration by walking around Westside Market! Today, I only bought a jumper for my 4yo but I was definitely tempted to get more. It's been a little while since I've gone to the Toco Hills location but this location seemed to have more black-owned vendor spaces (of course, I can only base this on the storefronts that had clear signage of the owner). My only complaint is that many items seem slightly overpriced. Like I passed over a few times that seemed about 20% too high. read more

I went to West Side Market Roswell because I heard of a vendor named Trinkets Home Decor. That Booth was amazing the furniture the pillows the art all of it was absolutely breathtaking !!! They also had high-end designer clothes and shoes everything in there was beautiful I think the booth was 5A the customer service was great. The prices were unbelievably low. They had other vendors that had nice things as well but that Booth was my favorite. I had an overall wonderful experience will definitely be checking it out on a regular basis .​ read more

Tired of same-o-same-o mass produced arts? Unexpectedly and serendipitously, I came across this place while looking for a brunch spot in Midtown Atlanta. Westside Market hosts a collection of independent vendors who exhibit nicer quality of arts and collectibles. Collections range in prices in a few dollars to 10s of thousand dollars. I'd say typical clientele would be home owners and decorators looking for flair but not necessarily for investment-grade arts. Inside is very tidy with a feel of galleries, not that of a flea market. Workers were courteous and professional, not overbearing. Today I ran across an original sculpture called the boxer by Frank Gallo who exhibited a sculpture at Smithsonian American Art Museum. I'm so excited to have a Frank Gallo. This was a serendipitous finding of a market that I'll come back and visit when I'm in the neighborhood! read more

This was one of the coolest markets I've been to! It's filled to the brim with jewelry, rugs, pillows, artwork etc. Everything was so unique and each booth had its own personality. It takes about 30-45 mins to walk through because there's so much to look at. With plenty of space and cleanliness you get to peacefully make your way through without getting overstimulated. This place is absolutely fascinating. More like a two compartment furniture store with a LOT. Of stuff. On the left side you will see brand new furniture, some coming from the major producers and some from the lesser known brands. They have a team of designers/decorators who work hard to set up a thematic approach, matching colors, textures, and styles together. On the right side of the store tia is presented in the artist "STALL" format. Meaning in each 10' by 10' of retail space is rented to a person that would like to showcase their wares, art production and talent. Be warned this establishment is quite daunting from the get go, (for the first time you visit) it's a lot to take in. I propose you do this in two visits that is relatively close in time frame. Things come and go so quickly that you may never get a chance to really envision your plan for your home. Take a lot of pictures, ask a lot of questions. (The staff is awesome especially the two guys that are experienced designers.) they have a tapestry department for curtains, rugs. Etc. I consider this in the upper price range. Not like crate and barrel or pottery barn pricey. But then again $$$ and styles are subjective. Be sure to bring a cup of coffee and enjoy your afternoon. Oh, I forgot. The weekend before we were in the east side of Atlanta ( rarely hit these neighborhoods as a result from covid awareness. Don't like to stray too far from home for an extended period of time. Toco Hills, it's not even in the same ball park as the one I'm am evaluating now. I was hopeful is had some resemblance, but no. Quite honestly, I was disappointed. Had an unbelievable experience over the weekend. I have came to this store with my client on several occasions especially due to the fact that we are in the process of doing 200k renovation, looking for furniture pieces. When my African American female client walked into the store she was FOLLOWED By The store manager Craig Cossio, he proceeded to follow her around the store with a vendor and informed her that "we have camera's everywhere and we have been watching you... the vendor proceeded to screamed at my client and told her to leave the store immediately...exact quote " I don't dislike you because you are BLACK, I dislike you because you steal.. Get Out nobody wants you here!!! It gets worse.... We were speechless... both the vendor and the store manager falsely accused my client of being in a criminal network of shoplifters... it gets worse... They called the police.. imagine this.. You go to a store and to look at goods and you are falsely accused by of being in criminal network of shoplifters and have a police report filed against you....!!!! We waited for the police officer (as all hardened criminals do... ) The officer arrived and it became clear that as we already knew, these were baseless lies. We asked the police officer to review and show us the video evidence of these lies... his response " they don't have video or any other proof of my client stealing from the store... The store manager was atrocious and rude throughout the ordeal.. This incident highlights a concerning pattern of racial profiling at Westside Market, as conveyed by the vendor's statement "We have cameras everywhere, we are watching you." Such unfounded accusations and mistreatment are not only damaging to individuals but also detrimental to the reputation of the store. Note to all African Women age between 20-45 you have been racially profiled, you are being watched. Per the vendor; "We have cameras everywhere, we are watching you". And you could quite easily be falsely accused of not only shoplifting, but being part of a criminal network of shoplifters and have a police report filed against you... Frightening times... Final thought... my client is multi state renowned Doctor.. What a shame a hopeless vendor and store manager have successfully driven away business to the numerous other decent and creative vendors at this store. This is a great market filled with booths from different vendors. There is quite the range in quality: from interesting antiques to funky framed "art" from local artists to items that look like they came from Home Goods. Some of the original art is quite compelling. Other pieces are questionable at best. Some of the furniture and accessories looked unique and handmade. Other pieces looked like they hailed from Overstock.com. So as with all places, shop with caution. This is an amazing place, literally a wonderland of creation to spend an afternoon (or half a day if you're not careful!). I decided to swing by in search of Christmas gifts and inspiration for some projects; before I knew it something like 2/3hrs had past. By the time I got to checkout, I burned off all my adrenaline, was starving, feet hurting, but happy with what I found and fulfilled with my shopping experience - until being rung up. The customer service sucked and it took what felt like an entirety to complete. How can you ask someone to retrace their steps in a 10,000 sq ft warehouse to confirm a sale price or where they got something? It seems other reviews here ran into issues with sale prices & staff as well. There should be a better system in place if something is not marked correctly/or at all and a more professional staff that can properly solve issues without further irritating a customer & taking away from their experience. If you shop here please take a picture of everything - the booth number, any signage for sales, placement, aisle # b/c it seems you will run into issues if you don't. Personally, I don't think shopping should be this much work though! read more

Westside Market also has a wide selection of rugs and drapery if you're looking for something specific. I have been a long time customer and champion of Westside Market. I recently moved to a new home and spent about 3K on a piece of furniture. It was in the store for a about 7-10 days before I could get it delivered because I was dealing with a loved one's heart surgery. It arrived today w a 10 inch scrape on the side. When I called to ask about it. They said "You won't like my answer. All sales are final and there is nothing I can do" I know if was not the movers who did this. I found my new shopping Mecca for eclectic finds. There are two locations in the Atlanta area and this location is five times bigger than the one in Toco Hills. I was overwhelmed when I first stepped in, but in a good way...like how the kids felt when they finally arrived to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Like the movie, Westside Market is a world of imagination curated by dozens of talented local artists and creatives. You can find unique furniture, decor, jewelry, art, candles, bath products, clothing, shoes, rugs, bedding, pillows, even a life-size terminator statue. I love how everything is divided into booths and the aisles are named like streets. Since inventory rotates in and out I'll be shopping here at least once a month! read more

This is a hidden gem and have great, unique finds. I love to just walk around and look at everything in the store. It's on the expensive side but at least you know you will have a one of a kind piece. I went inside looking for drapery. They have a section in the back for drapes and they can be custom ordered. What a cool place. I have always heard of this place but in 4 years my first visit was magical. West's ode market is almost like a upper class flea market set up with different booths but for antiques and furniture. To be honest I went inside to do a married guy date with my wife and I left wanting to buy a ton of cool stuff. The main word here is unique. They sell vintage brief cases , wet bars, tables and chairs. In the back we even found life size metal sculptures of bob culture icons like MJ and even ole terminator !! They have a whole section dedicated to furniture and rugs. Believe it or not but the prices are very reasonable and the pieces are unique . You can actually find items here for the same if not better pricing than rooms to go. Each booth has its own owner and flair. They also have custom prints and one of a kind paintings. Went to Westside Market and saw the perfect little mirror. I was ready to make my purchase and BAM!!! The cashier says we only take cards with a chip. WTH! Not only was I disappointed but I felt rejected and left out. My bank or credit card has not provided me with a card that contains a chip. I was left standing there contemplating should I go get cash. But then I thought ... why inconvenience myself to spend money at Westside Market. I apologize to the owner of that booth who missed out on a sale. But then again they probably didn't need my little money. Wouldn't it have been nice if they would have signs posted of this "policy". A huge store, full of ORIGINAL, non-tacky pieces. Like another reviewer said, if you know what you'd like, you'll be able to find something easily. However, if you're just there to "browse," you could probably spend weeks there. We bought three rugs--one from the main floor and the other two from the "discount" section, which is full of really nice rugs at a cheaper price (around $150-$200, compared to $400 and up). Some of the discounted rugs supposedly had imperfections, but I didn't see many. Ask an associate to open up the discount section if you're interested. A great experience overall! read more

Be WARE!!!! They are scam artists. We shopped there this weekend. The entire store was posted with 20% off discounts thru 5/31 with only 1 exclusion, art pieces. We made the purchase and checked out only to learn that they did not apply the discount to any of 13 items purchased. They have a NO REFUND policy and told us there was nothing they could do. All of our items were excluded from the discount even though the sign was posted all through the showroom without mention of any exclusions other than art. The reps were Craig and Lori. They were rude. This is false advertising and I hate for the vendors they are working with. This a poor business model and the customer is on the losing end. read more

This store is absolutely massive. It's filled with all kinds of furniture like chairs, tables, couches, cabinets, as well as gorgeous knick-knacks to make your home look like a designers showcase. I came looking for a pair of chairs and an entertainment console and there are certainly many beautiful pieces to chose from. Staff here is very helpful if you need something that they don't currently have in stock. Lots of the items here are custom made which means they'll be more expensive than most of the places you'll find in Atlanta. Lots of pieces here are wonderful, but they're all out of my budget. Most of the upholstered chairs are around $1000, so it's certainly over the price of other places like Room and Board, etc. It's a great place to look around and get an idea of what you want, and then you can find similar piece for half the price at other furniture stores. read more

We received a gift certificate from our realtor for this place and headed out to visit one day. We were in the market for a rug and nightstands and knew we'd find one of the other here. The Foundry is huge, complete with a clearance section, massive rug section, and an antiques/knick knack spot. They have amazing items in a wide array of pricing, from clearance to the very, very expensive. This is a great place to get ideas for your home! We quickly settled in on the rugs and were approached by the lovely Gamal Goodman, who asked if we needed assistance. He was such a gem in helping us! He definitely helped us find the right size and was incredibly knowledgeable about the various rugs on hand. We settled on a rug pretty quickly, thanks to his help. I really loved the antique section next door. Tons of barnwood frames, beautiful pictures/paintings, and interesting decor for your home. There were loads of reasonably priced unique items in this section of the store. Best of all? When you check in here, there's a 5% discount that they happily applied to my order. Westside Market was way more fun than the Westside Foundry, although I'm pretty sure they're affiliated. I really liked how these items were grouped into separate booths. It seems that each booth is rented by one seller so you can see all the jewelry or clothes that a booth owner is selling. There are also some really unique pieces to decorate with. I didn't really see anything furniture-wise that I was in love with, but I still had fun browsing through the store. There's plenty of interesting tcotchkes to decorate your home with. I might consider coming back for decorative pieces but not so much the furniture. read more
