The store was organized, the aisles were easy to navigate, and I didn't have to hunt someone down for help. Checkout was quick and painless, which is always a win when you're just trying to knock out a quick errand. What truly elevated the experience was that their in-store inventory accurately matched what was listed online -- something that unfortunately can't be said for a lot of similar retailers. They usually have friendly customer service and can find you things you and leave with what you needed. This particular location is in a great spot. It's easily accessible off US hwy 78 so I figured it would be perfect to go to. The greeter and most of the staff were really friendly and showed me where the items were. The issues arose when I went to checkout. The rep was nasty as if contactless payments were so rare. The item wrung up as the wrong price and the manager wanted me to go back and show her the pricing. I said I was not. And then begin to say they didn't honor online pricing. I advised her that I didn't ask that and the item was actually priced wrong or located in the wrong spot. She then continued to go back and forth with me until finally agreeing to give the price as advertised on the shelving. In the end I didn't appreciate the experience. It was unnecessary and I wound up leaving without what I came for and ordering it online. I'd rather wait for it ship to my house then to deal with confrontational workers. Won't be going to this location again.

My first visit here the staffers were helpful and recommended options that would help me save time in finishing my project. Of course it resulted in an additional $60 spent but when the Pro gives a recommendation, you at least consider it! In total I spent about $150 more than the big box stores. I had a custom color match of a new product that seemed perfect when I left the store but to my surprise the color was about 2-3 shades darker than the sample I got from here just a day before. The person on staff was not so happy about my return and it showed, but I was refunded my money and that's all I wanted. If you're going to give recommendations, especially custom color recommendations...be prepared to support the result of your recommendations. Next time, I will just pass on the 'Pro's' perspective and stick with my own!

In the messages before confirming everything, I let him know I had high ceilings and also sent pix for reference. Now, I definitely understand that it can be hard to tell the scope of a job off of a photo but I did let him know that it had high ceilings. So here's the issue with that - we agreed to one price and when he got here to paint I guess it was way bigger than he understood and asked if I'd be okay with adding $100 to the job. I was taken aback a bit because my budget wasn't to exceed a certain amount, but I needed to get the area painted. While he was here, he had to go to the hardware store twice. One trip - fine, but two is a little confusing because I would think everything needed would have been brought and/or bought the first time. The whole job took about 3-4 hours and initially I was happy with the work. Really, the job looked like it was done well and he offered to put two coats on but I declined as it was getting late. But as I began to put more things away and look closer, I saw light patches of wall that weren't fully covered, paint on trim, dried droplets above entryways, and the section of my window panes was left unpainted. I know painting is a daunting task, especially for high walls, but for the price I paid finding these things was really disappointing.
