I hate to give a small family business such a rating, but hopefully you understand why by reading. I needed my living room painted as my TV was being mounted within a day or two, so I was very appreciative SirDarion made it work. In the messages before confirming everything, I let him know I had high ceilings and also sent pix for reference. Now, I definitely understand that it can be hard to tell the scope of a job off of a photo but I did let him know that it had high ceilings. So here's the issue with that - we agreed to one price and when he got here to paint I guess it was way bigger than he understood and asked if I'd be okay with adding $100 to the job. I was taken aback a bit because my budget wasn't to exceed a certain amount, but I needed to get the area painted. While he was here, he had to go to the hardware store twice. One trip - fine, but two is a little confusing because I would think everything needed would have been brought and/or bought the first time. The whole job took about 3-4 hours and initially I was happy with the work. Really, the job looked like it was done well and he offered to put two coats on but I declined as it was getting late. But as I began to put more things away and look closer, I saw light patches of wall that weren't fully covered, paint on trim, dried droplets above entryways, and the section of my window panes was left unpainted. I know painting is a daunting task, especially for high walls, but for the price I paid finding these things was really disappointing. read more

They arrived in masks and didn't remove them the entire time they were here which was great. They were able to patch up and paint a few areas of damaged drywall really quickly. It's almost like I blinked and they were done! The quality of the work was excellent and they cleaned up every speck of drywall after they were done. I called and they picked up and were able to set an appointment within 24 hours. The entire experience was great, and they were really knowledgeable and professional. After talking to the gentlemen further, I found out they'd be able to stain our deck and do other home projects as well. There was no pressure for the next job either, and the owner gave us more than enough time to decide when we'd schedule the next job (I can't stand pushy sales people). With the courteous and professional service, great quality work, affordable pricing, and COVID safety precautions, I will definitely be calling them for more work soon... also, they're a black owned and operated small business, so it felt even better to support them. read more

I found this company easy to work with. A huge plus in my book since I manage 16 properties. Sir Daron gave me a fair quote, he came when scheduled, and did quality work. I had him do dry wall repairs as well as paint a few spots on one of my properties walls 18ft up in the air. Sirdarian ghosted my paint job. I hired the Morrison Brothers to paint my entire townhouse and everything was going well for the first two days while he was present. Then he got "sick" and left his team by themselves. They consisted of two good painters, but the rest were just hired hands/family members with NO experience. They made sloppy mistakes that I am still working to repair. I am extremely hurt as I was considering two painters and Sirdarian talked about how we should support black business, so I went with him. I wish I would have went with the other guy!!!! I should have known when he told me that his own neighbor hired someone else to paint their house. My cabinets now have to be repainted because they carelessly got paint on it. The bathrooms have stroke lines all over it. Corners around the sink and toilets were skipped. I have drip marks all over when some amateur didn't wipe excess paint off the brush. They were careless about removing my blinds and I had to buy new parts to reinstall them correctly. When I called Sirdarian over after the job was done, he admitted the mistakes and said he would rectify them. He sent sub-contractors over who didn't care and didn't do anything. I never heard from him again. I paid $2000 for these mistakes and have to pay now to fix everything. Especially my cabinets! I would do the paint job myself before ever hiring this team.
