Grabbed my shovel and started following the water and about four foot down found the water line that was leaking. Over the next 24 hours I made four trips to HD and two trips to Lowes trying to get the fittings and pipe I need to repair it and finally cobbled something together about ten PM at night but it was a kludgy fix and only lasted for about 30 minutes before it sprang a leak too. The next morning I started searching on internet for one inch CPVC pipe which is what I needed to make a proper repair. Both Lowes and Home Depot websites said they had it but I was at one HD and two Lowes and none of them had ANY CPVC pipe. Internet said Handy Ace Hardware had some so I drove there. It is not a huge place (from the outside) but inside it is packed with tall shelving units, closely spaced, and together with the walls has much more stock and most importantly SELECTION than most HD or Lws!! Walked out of Handy Ace about 30 minutes later with a 10 foot length of 1" CVPC pipe and several right angle fittings and couplers and headed home to make the proper (and final) repair. This is a classic hardware store like the best ones I remember from years back before the big box stores forced most of them out of business. Yes, they are not cheap, but not horribly expensive either and had I gotten to Handy the evening before my water main leak ordeal would have been much shorter and less frustrating. That would have been work a LOT!!

The repairs department is horrible. They are as bad as a auto repair shop. Your item goes in for a small repair and they try to sell u everything under the sun or say you need many things repaired. It comes out not working as it did when it went in or not working at all. They do not care about customer loyalty at all just whatever they can sell or scam on you Very dishonest and unreliable work. i was very dissatisfied whomever they have in the repair dept now is not doing the right thing for customers. They also took a part of mine and charged me for that part they said they replaced and did not. They also went up 100 on some supply items which is crazy. They have now lost my business. It did not used to be this way, but it is now Be careful if u go here for any equipment repairs I would not trust them. I have been in bus for 25 years very reputable but sorry they are not anymore. It is very sad.

TLDR: I would strongly recommend not purchasing equipment from this location. This location does…read morenot have the capability to be an authorized Stihl dealer. I expect it's the same with all the high dollar equipment including BGE. I purchased a Stihl RB400 pressure washer in the morning to strip paint off my house, as my old pressure washer wasn't up to the task. I used it for about 20 minutes before all 4 anti vibration mounts sheared off the chassis and the engine and pump fell to the ground. After looking at it, it looks like the mounts were severely over-torqued by Ace during assembly. It was a little frustrating to have that happen to a brand new $850 piece of equipment that's supposed to be top of the line, but whatever, things happen and Stihl has a great warranty right? So I called the store to make a warranty claim, and I was informed they do not have any repair staff on site and would have to ship it to a repair facility. I've owned a lot of Stihl equipment, I've never had an issue with a warranty claim until now. They gave me an estimate of 2 weeks to repair, but since I have a halfway unpainted house now, I told them I just wanted to return it. On the phone they told me no problem and to bring it in. I loaded it up and took it in. When I got there they told me they can't take Stihl returns and I'd have to send it in for repairs. I run all Stihl equipment at my house, and I own a business that runs Stihl equipment in all our crew trucks. I've made plenty of returns and had plenty of warranty claims at other Stihl dealers without ever having a problem. This Ace is either unwilling to help or unable to help, both cases are simply unacceptable. If you'll be purchasing major equipment, purchase somewhere that can stand behind it and make you whole. That's kind of the whole point of paying a premium for Stihl.

Excellent customer service - no VOC paint…read more This is my first paint job using Benjamin Moore. SW recently discontinued their Harmony No VOC paint and and their rep sent me to Benjamin Moore since they have several No VOC paints to choose from at various price points. When I drove up at 2:30pm on a Monday the place looked closed. But as I walked up Tom Jr open the door for me and I quickly understood why they have such a high rating. This place is like the Cheers of Paint stores. They know their customers and they want to make sure you get what you need. I am very indecisive when it comes to paint and Tom Jr answered ALL my questions, gave me some things to think about and provided recommendations without any pressure to buy. The next day I called ahead to place my order, paid and everything was loaded into my trunk. Wow! This place is a whole vibe, if you need paint get it from here.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Floor & Decor. I recently spent thousands of…read moredollars installing their "waterproof" LVP flooring throughout my entire home -- nearly 2,000 sq. ft., including the kitchen and bathrooms, exactly as their team recommended. Despite being assured the product was truly waterproof and appropriate for these areas, the flooring buckled, bubbled, and began trapping moisture shortly after installation. I had my insurance company inspect the issue, and they confirmed there were no leaks in my home. Their moisture reader showed that the flooring itself was holding water, and when it was removed, there was mold underneath -- a serious health hazard. Because mold is dangerous to breathe, the flooring had to be removed immediately. Yet when I contacted Floor & Decor for support under their lifetime residential warranty, I was told the warranty was voided simply because the flooring was removed -- even though removal was required for health and safety reasons. To make matters worse, the representative handling my case (Matt) was dismissive, repeatedly cut me off, and refused to allow me to submit photos, proof of installation, insurance reports, or documentation. I was not offered any investigation, partial refund, or even the courtesy of reviewing my case. I trusted Floor & Decor, invested heavily in their product, followed installation guidelines, and now I am left with ruined floors, mold exposure, and no accountability from the company. This experience has been devastating, and I would encourage anyone considering their "waterproof" LVP to proceed with caution and thoroughly research their warranty limitations. I sincerely hope Floor & Decor reconsiders their customer service approach and honors the warranties they promote.

For years, I've been getting those 20% off coupons from Bed Bath & Beyond in my mailbox. I rarely…read morehad reason to go to Bed Bath & Beyond until recently. I needed a couple new pillowcases (some of my old ones finally wore out after 12 years) and a new tub mat towel (my old one also wore out, same vintage). Pillowcases and tub mats were easy to find at this store. An employee directed us to the pillow case section. I had no idea there were so many different types, styles, and materials of pillowcases to choose from (I've also never thought about it). I didn't really care much for that stuff. I just wanted new pillowcases that felt good enough and looked good enough, matching my existing sheets and comforter. I also didn't realize pillowcases could be so expensive: $40 and up for two pillowcases. We headed straight to the clearance section and found a rather nice set of Barbara Barry 400-count pillowcases made in India. Their original price was $39.99, but they were marked down to $23.99. With my coupon, they came out to $19.19, about half of their original price. We then headed to the towel section to find a tub mat towel. My girlfriend found a couple good ones. I believe these were also from the clearance section. I almost went with a DKNY towel until my girlfriend found a Wamsutta towel that closely resembled my old towel. It was only $7.99 and was called a "Perfect Soft" towel made out of MicroCotton. I learned that Wamsutta is a brand sold exclusively at Bed Bath & Beyond and MicroCotton is a brand as well. Whatever the case, the new tub mat has felt great underneath my feet when I enter and leave the shower. Nice and soft. And after several uses and washes, the pillowcases have worked out great. They feel silky smooth on my cheeks. When you use those 20% off coupons, 20% is taken off the most expensive item at checkout. Read the fine print on the coupon because the discount excludes *a lot* of brands and items. This Bed Bath & Beyond is conveniently located just off Georgia 400 exit 2 (Lenox Rd) in Buckhead. It's in the Buckhead Station shopping center with other big box retailers like T.J. Maxx, DSW, Old Navy, and Ulta. When visiting this shopping center, I recommend parking underground. There's lots of parking underneath. The surface level lot can be a zoo at times.
