Buyer beware. Don't purchase items online! Found a cabinet that fit our office needs and had a "gut" feeling I needed to see it before I purchased it Online. When I drove 1 hour to see the "in stock" item, mysteriously, it wasn't there And they weren't sure if they actually had it in a warehouse or not. They were quick to encourage me to go look at their "New" furniture line downstairs. They took my phone number and promised to call me once they were able to search their offsite warehouse for the cabinet, No call... but I see they remove about 20 cabinets from their online website In the last two days. They reminded me of a used cars salesman with the old bate and switch To get you into their store and buy something more expensive. Recommend if you find something you really want, go into the store, don't buy on line with this company. They'll be glad to take your money, not sure they can deliver what you ordered. read more

Service is above and beyond here. There is no comparison anywhere, (I wish I knew her name that works at the front and also does the copy services but wow! What a classy lady w superior customer service skills.) You can't go wrong here. Great service, prices and selection! read more

Awesome place for office furniture nicest people I have ever met

I purchased a Sauder Hutch Computer Desk from Office Pro in March, 2018. Wonderful service from owner, Bill Jones at their Gainesville, GA store. He was patient with me and not pushy. We paid extra to have assembled and delivered----money well spent. Our only problem was scheduling the delivery. I requested early AM deliver and was told they could do that. When I was called to confirm the delivery time, we were scheduled for mid afternoon. This didn't work for us so they scheduled us for 8-8:30 AM. At 8:45 they hadn't arrived yet, but called to say they would be here by 9:30. It was 10:30 before they arrived! The delivery team was careful and the desk was well-wrpped so it wouldn't get damaged. So now------I am happily organizing my new desk! read more

Went in looking for a file cabinet to keep home office records and papers in an organized manner ... thought it would be a no brainer. With help from a friendly member of staff, I was quickly disabused of that notion, and skillfully led through the series of choices I had to make to find exactly what I needed: Did I need letter files or legal?, flat files or hanging?, two drawers, four drawers or five?, Black, Grey, Woodgrain, or Tan? ... and so it went. In less than 20 minutes, I had a used file cabinet in very pristine condition (5 drawer, deep, locking, letter, hanging, black, with file stops) paid for ... and loaded by them into the back of my truck ... for a very nice price. Went in there yesterday because I had it to send a fax. Most local grocery stores charge a dollar to send a fax around here. These guys charge $1.50 per page! Seems very Pennywise pound foolish. I can't imagine going in there to actually buy supplies after this little trivial thing seems like such a rip off. read more

In a quandary this morning about where to have an over sized copy made without heading down to FedEx Kinkos/Office (or whatever they are called these days) near the Mall of GA, I headed, rather, to Google and located Office Pro's in Gainesville. We have passed by this place many times and always talked about checking it out. No time like the present since their website indicated they could make me a 24x36" copy of something for .99! Really? I'll take 10! and off we went. This is, by far, the largest office & school supply store I have ever been in and the thousands (yes, indeed) of pieces of furniture (both new and pre-owned and reconditioned) is wonderous. Their selection of any other office supply stuff is great, too. So I was able to get my 18x24" copy plus 9 more for $10. plus tax. What a deal! Service was instant, speedy, courteous and friendly and John provided my husband and I with bottles of water (free gift to us) for our journey of errands. It is my understanding that this is a family-owned business and considering our experience today, they have a couple of new customers. I would much prefer giving our business to a locally owned business than one of the "big guys". We will be back later to do some real price comparisons. These folks try very hard to be better than the 'chains' and it shows. Very helpful in locating items or operating machines.

I had made an online order with the promise of being contacted for shipment options. Received emails but no phone. I sent 2 emails asking for information-- no reply. Was taking into account the COVID-19 issue so didn't push . Finally, after 2 weeks of waiting, I called the Gainesville store. Told the receptionist that I had not heard back from their store. She transferred my call to one of the owners, Bobby. He took my info to look into it and called me back saying that my order had been overlooked and the items that I ordered had been sold. However, I could come in the next day, and he would help locate items of the same quality and price. So the next day, my husband and I visited the store and asked 3-4 sale associates for Bobby. He never came to see us. We were left wondering around the store with no assistance that was promised. The staff is really nice and helpful but I feel that I was once again overlooked. I wouldn't say that I would never visit there again but I definitely will never order online from them again. read more
