Things look good until something goes wrong I've shopped here many times and I always left with the feeling that I got a good deal. Herschel is an astute sales person who makes you feel that way. You will feel that way also until something go wrong. I called over the phone asking for a light bulb for a lamp that I purchased about a year ago. He started getting defensive before I could even tell him what the problem was. When I arrived at the store, he speculated that several things went wrong on this "unrepairable" lamp. A change of light bulbs was not among the solutions. However, the purchase of a more expensive one was. It turns out that many of his products are factory rejects that are out of stock and no longer manufactured. Everything is marked up so that he can offer you a "feel good" discount. I have scoured the online stores for hours but it is just hard to get a feel for the size of the fixtures until you see them in person. It is definitely worth the time to go walk up and down the aisles and get the lighting you want to look at in your home for a long time. They have good installation prices and are focused on giving good service. You will be very glad you shopped there! I am doing a renovation and needed a light to go over the island, one over the kitchen table and a larger one in the 2 story foyer.
