TjMaxx has some really good finds. If you like something, it's best you get it then. 9 times out of 10, it won't be there if you go back. Luckily, I was able to back and get the purse I wanted. As I walked in, a customer had it I her hand. I just walked over closely and waited for her to put it back down lol. I knew I would leave out the store with it. I usually avoid going to this store because the line is always long. On this particular day, the line was long, but it was moving pretty swiftly. Well...the place was easy to find but was rather messy in some places. As for customer service...no one says anything to you and the cashiers work at a pace to prolong the agony of finding something you must have at literally all cost. Beyond terrible service I got stuck in the bathroom because they had no toilet paper and only two working toilets. I then inform the manager and the employee attached below decided to announce to the whole line I must of ate some chipotle. They had incredible patience with me, returning some carpets that did not work out and I appreciate it very much.

I like this location better than the other locations because they seem to always have my stuff. I don't have luck with their clothes or shoes or purses but I do have luck with their household stuff. I buy my shampoo and hair polish here and they're way cheaper (the Biosilk is $20 here and it's $42-$45 else where.) I have a relative back in Asia that always loves the Elizabeth Arden face cream that I get for her here. Plus they're about 60% less than what I pay at Ulta....I also like their hand soap here for the bathroom. They have these pretty bottles for about $6-$7 bucks that have these pretty scents that my guests always want to know where I bought them... Thanks T J Maxx for a pleasant shopping experience. The store is absolutely in a shambles! I love going to all the TJ Maxx stories and checking out HomeGoods dresses... But this one was so depressing and I was treated very badly here. The store has no inventory, horrible, customer service, and the manager, Melissa Winters was so condescending and rude to me, I will never step foot in that disgusting store again. I wish TJ Maxx would teach the managers, customer service skills and how to keep the isles neat and safe for customers. Do not go here. It is such a waste of time go to the one in Roswell! This TJ Max was awesome. They had a whole section dedicated to boots. A lot of the boots were on trend and very comfortable. I liked that a lot of them didn't have heels and that they were more practical. My sister bought two pairs for less than 50 bucks and I bought mine for $24. I received compliments on them that same day that I bought them. I loved the selection here and prices. read more

I used to love TJ Maxx. Great prices on quality merchandise, not the same old items you find in department stores around here. However, I find myself spending much less time in the actual store and doing the bulk of my shopping online. Which is a shame because I used to spend a couple of hours browsing all the goodies and enjoyed myself very much. The reason I've been run off? The customer service at both the stores in my area has deteriorated to the point of hostility. I'm not sure what's happened in the company but it's very sad. This location, in particular, is the absolute worst in terms of customer service I believe I've ever encountered. 12/7/18, ~8:30pm there are 2 cashiers and 2 manager at the checkout stand. The manager herself was berating a young Asian mother, talking to her like she was a bug she wanted to squash. The 2 cashiers communicated by grunting, sighing and rolling their eyes. No "hello" or "thank you" or "screw off". Just enough hostility to make sure all the customers in line knew they weren't happy to be there. This is after I walked by the fitting room earlier and heard one of the managers straight up yelling at an employee who asked for a break. This lady's yelling could be heard across the store, I felt terrible for the poor employee. I don't know what all the staff are so angry about, and obviously higher management doesn't know or care so I'll go ahead and make this my last visit here. I'm sorry you have to work at TJ Maxx, I'm sorry you hate customers, I'm sorry you have to take MARTA to get to work, I'm sorry you hate people with disposable income and I'm sorry you work in an economically booming area where you have to deal with people of different ethnicities and socio-economic statuses. But I'm most sorry that in the short amount of time I was in the store tonight y'all made 1 employee and 1 customer cry. ALL IT TAKES IS ONE GREAT PURCHASE! It only took one great purchase for this store to fall back in my good graces. A few weeks ago, I was shopping and I found a great pair of earmuffs that were tastefully designed, very warm and stable on the ears. Muffs are perfect when you don't want to worry about your hair getting messed up but want to keep your ears warm. I loved that these were simple and without embellishments so that they could be worn with a nice wrap or dress coat. I was sold as soon as I placed them over my ears but just could not find them in black. They are a very popular brand and had sold in the on line stores. Everywhere I shopped, I would see these muffs in the wrong color and since it is so late in the season, I had actually given up being able to find them. As I walked toward accessories today, guess what I saw! Yes, those black muffs!! I quickly grabbed them and did not even care about price because I know that quality trumps price and this is not a brand that has frequent sales. To my surprise, they had actually reduced the price by seven dollars. Yes!! Now, there is no way these muffs were just overlooked during the holidays so I think that they must have been hidden in the wrong place or there was a bit of divine intervention going on. For this one, I am going to claim divine intervention! Yes, His timing is perfect and I was so grateful to find my beloved muffs on one of the windiest days of the season. Since there were so few customers in the store today, the employees were very busy stocking shelves, preparing clearance and just getting everything in order. So, by the time you make your next visit, everything will be well stocked and in pristine condition for your shopping pleasure! This location has some pretty friendly associates. The store's layout and cleanliness is standard just like other locations. I think the major difference would be the customer service level, and this location has held up the standard of having genuinely friendly associates. This definitely adds to the positive shopping experience across 'most' TJ Maxx stores. Parking is plentiful too since it's in a large strip of stores. read more

The price at this brunch is cheaper than the one I used to go. This store quite big but seems like they don't provide a restroom. The employees are friendly and helpful. I got a call today from the manager of This North Point store, Zack, who is both proactive and incredibly gracious to handle a problem that was actually caused at a different T J Maxx, the one on Medlock Bridge Rd. in John's Creek. The John's Creek store had sent me down a rabbit hole with no resolution to a problem regarding the purchase of a Christmas gift card. I had been passed off to a customer service number from the Medlock Bridge location by the in store manager, Carlos. Customer service blew me off. The gift card was purchased at the North Point store, thus the call from Zack. He is incredibly professional and I am returning to his store with my receipt and card to get this resolved. So I was in there on Friday evening December 8th, 2018, and I had previously purchased a serum in their beauty products department, and the cap on the bottle was defective..I didn't had my receipt but the sticker was still on the bottle, I explained the problem about having difficulty opening the bottle, and right away the young girl said that she couldn't exchange or refund .. and the other older lady wich was maybe her supervisor said the same thing...I said really? Any store that sells cosmetics will stand by their product and they all accept returns and/or refunds ..Needless to say, I spends thousands at their store every year..I will go spend my money somewhere else!!!! read more

TJ Maxx is a good store to find pretty good deals but I would rather not shop here if I don't need to. The only reason I went in was because I thought I would be able to find some items for my new home to match the décor that we're going for and was only able to find a glass vase.which will do great as part of the centerpiece but that was it. This was literally the worst customer service I have ever received. Last night (April 6th around 7pm) I came here shopping with a friend on a very specific mission to find a specific type of outfit, found an awesome skirt that I loved. It was perfect. It didn't have a tag but I really didn't care how much it was I was going to purchase it. I get it up to the front, explain the no tag situation and the cashier tells me that it is a two piece set so the other pieces somewhere so she goes to look for it, she comes back saying that she can't find it and they cannot sell me the bottom part without the top part. I request to talk to a manager- The manager on duty came up and was super rude to me telling me that they cannot sell me the skirt without the top. I have been in multiple stores where if it is the only one they have and they can't find the other part or another one like it they will pick something close and sell it for that price. I didn't care about the top part at all all I needed was the skirt. My friend and I scoured the entire store through all the racks, without any help from any associate- and didn't find the other piece. It was nowhere to be found, my friend suggested that someone probably already bought the top half since it had the price tag on it and someone didn't catch the fact that it was a two piece set. So we were just on a wild goose chase for nothing. I went back up and asked if there's nothing else they can do, usually store will work with you and try to figure out a solution. The manager refused to help us she acted like she didn't care, and because I was getting irritated due to the fact that I was receiving the worst customer service ever she refused to even speak to me anymore and literally was just ignoring me. I ended up leaving empty-handed and very irritated, my friend and I didn't even buy the rest of our purchases that we were going to make because we were so angry with how we were treated. When I got home I ended up looking up the brand on TJ Maxx website. I found the set for $24.99. I ended up buying it but it doesn't help me much because I need the skirt for an event Monday and delivery won't get here before then (there is no overnight option) I even went to another TJ Maxx last night on the way home, looking for the same outfit, with no luck. And again went by the Alpharetta location this morning now that I knew what the top half looked like. Still it isn't there. I looked again through all of the racks, and it is nowhere in the store simple as that. I was deeply disappointed in the way that the situation was handled. I have been to many stores, and the manager always seems to help figure out a solution to the best of their ability. This situation could've been handled so many other different ways. They could have picked something similar and sold me the skirt. They could have looked up the set in their system and at least showing us what the top part looks like so we knew what we were looking for, especially if they weren't going to help us look at all. Hell they could have looked up the set in their system seen the price and SKU number and I would have paid full price for the half piece!! But no. The manager had an attitude straight from the beginning acting like it was bothersome to her that anybody needed her assistance at all. Acted like she didn't care, didn't want to help me, it wasn't her problem. But it's not my fault they they lost half of an outfit, they should have found a way. I would have paid way more than what's its worth, but now I'll never shop here again. read more

I came to this location with a friend to help her find 2 nightstands. We found two very heavy nightstands that fit the description she had been looking for. I went to the front of the store to ask for assistance, where a store manager was having a conversation with an employee. I didn't want to interrupt so I waited for them to finish their conversation. After a few minutes, I overheard the store manager remark on how "wasted" she was the night before and how she didn't "want to be doing this (four letter word)". I took a step closer to the counter in case she did not see that I was standing right there, however, she just continued to cuss and speak with her horrible grammar about the night before. After a while longer, I finally spoke up and asked if I could have assistance bringing two nightstands to the front for checkout. Both the manager and the employee stopped, looked at me, and then continued their conversation. I was shocked!! I went to the back of the store where my friend had been waiting and told her what happened. She couldn't believe it and went up front to ask for assistance herself when the store manager rudely said "you can wait." My friend and I looked at each other in complete shock and walked out. She spent $430 on nightstands that same day at Macy's. As a business owner, I could not believe the store manager's behavior and choice of language. She came off as uneducated and unprofessional.
