Today I was both surprised and offended by the customer experience that I encountered at the North Point Marshall's in Alpharetta. At the register, I asked the Manager Dan N. to check if an item I was purchasing was on a second markdown since it had been on the floor for quite some time based on my prior visits. He said he checked and then stated it was not. Another customer two registers over had the same request while he was attending to me, he gladly marked the item down. I questioned what was the difference, he at first just simply stated "it is different." I told him I overheard her request and the request was the same as mine, which was to apply an additional markdown to an item with a missing bottom. He stated there was nothing that could be done because the machine would not allow it. When he realized I had in fact heard the whole conversation, he became extremely exasperated and rude. In the presence of other customers, he started sighing loudly, then said loudly, "My God, Oh My God, I can see you don't believe me when I say I cannot mark it down. He then proceeded to mark the item down and stated he had damaged it out." In my 30 plus years of shopping at Marshall's, I have never encountered or witnessed such poor and offensive behavior by a Manager. I am so very disappointed and will find other options to spend the thousands of dollars I spend every year to Marshall's, TJMaxx, and Homegoods/Homesense. For perspective, he was a middle age white male, I am a senoir age black woman, and the other customer was an middle age Asian woman. read more

Bought an international suitcase less than 30 days ago, used it one time and I lost a wheel. I wanted to exchange it for another and was told no because it was broken. Manager said it was policy and she only worked there. Marshall's is perfectly happy selling crap products. read more

Yet another store which sells premium products at probably lower prices than the actual market rates. Probably these are mostly outdated models or designs or gone out of business a few years ago or something like that. They are very well organized and neatly maintained without any need to call an associate to help with things. The staff seems to be friendly and, while working, they keep checking on the customers if they need any help or assistance, which I have never seen in a long time. The tees here are great, especially all the 2024 designs of NASCAR, GA sports teams, etc. They also have a wide range of products, including clothing, accessories, and footwear. The store's layout is easy to navigate, making it simple to find what you're looking for. I would highly recommend this shop over the TJMax nearby as the staff seems nice and helpful. The overall shopping experience is pleasant, and the prices are unbeatable. If you're looking for a great deal on premium products, this store is definitely worth checking out. Overall, I'm impressed with the store's offerings and service, and I'll likely be back for more. read more

The discount haven... I rarely stop in a Marshall's because my wife tends to hate to dig for the good stuff. Me I can dig dig dig... it's like a treasure hunt. Marshall's is that store that just has STUFF! Lots of it... and they try to organize it but to find the good STUFF you have to be willing to search. There are good prices and there are great prices... discounted clothes, Knick-nacks, kitchen item, electronic, etc. however you really never know what they will have... it changes often. It's kind of like a flea market all housed up in one building. If you like the challenge of finding that great item at a great price... well then this is your spot! read more

Came out here last week to shop with a friend whose bathroom flooded a few days ago...yikes. This Marshalls has a decent bathroom rugs and accessories section. The section was well organized and everything had price tags on them. I didn't really wonder around too much because I'm not a huge Marshalls shopper. However my friend was able to get a few items to replace the stuff that got soaked in god knows where that water came from...our cashier was nice enough and we have a satisfying experience. Meh. This location is decent. I've had a mixture of good and fair experiences here. I guess it all averages out to be pretty okay... I've had really sweet cashiers ring me out, and I've had pretty-less-than-friendly associates behind the counter. This is pretty standard across most/some retailers in that there will always be those employees who are super outgoing and friendly, those that do what's required of them, and those that do the bare minimum (just ring out merchandise). I've worked in retail before so I'm not looking for an out right super peppy greeting when I enter a store, but it would be nice if this location can work on that one aspect... The merchandise selection here is pretty standard across other Marshalls. I do think that certain departments had less merchandise selections (i.e. handbags & wallets). The cleanliness was pretty good. I did see associates maneuvering around re-organizing shelves so that's always a good sign that employees are being proactive. On the bright side, there's always the Nordstrom Rack's within the same shopping strip you can visit or even the Target at the end of the strip... read more

I spent 45 minutes shopping and gathered a basket full of Christmas items to purchase at Marshall's in Roswell on Holcomb Bridge Road On a Wednesday morning. Received poor customer service and left everything in the cart and told the manager that I was canceling my order due to the representatives behavior. Ridiculous! read more

THIS STORE IS NOT CLOSED! I recently visited this store and I can assure you that it is not closed. Someone was confused by the closing of the store on Holcomb Bridge which actually moved to the new center at Holcomb Bridge and Highway 9. When I visited last week, I was in looking for queen sized pillows and some home decor items. They have actually cleaned up their bedding department so that it is more organized and much neater. The pillows are sold in two packs but you will not find any true queen options. They only offer standard/queen pillows which mean that they are going to be a poor fit for a queen sized pillow. I have find that if I want a true queen pillow I have to go to one of the Clubs or to a major department store. Bummer! When it comes to their wall decor, they need to do a bit of work. This department needs more inventory and better organization. Overall, I find that this store is best for purchasing clothing and they have something for every size. Some of their other locations seem to be better resources for home decor. However, I would love to see all of their stores carry better quality shoes and expand the size of the ladies' room. Awful costumer service. The cashier made me walk all the way to get a tag off another shoe because somebody took the tag off mine. Then asked me to put it back where it was. I do not work here therefore I shouldn't be doing her job. Will be going to the Dunwoody location from now on, way better service. read more

Very bad customer service. I went to return an item. Didn't have a paper receipt. They scanned the item - said they couldn't find it in their system. So no store credit either. Then a lady called Rose came and asked me where I bought the item - I showed her the tag which was ON the item that said Marshalls! Which she could see herself! She said to me they didn't sell that brand- total BS because I showed her the attached tag! She refused to help me. I was robbed of my money and left with a bad taste in my mouth. Never going back! LESLI F. the manager better suited for PRISON INMATE interaction then customer service. I came in to return a DEFECTIVE item, in NEW condition, with TAGS and RECEIPTS. She made me wait in line for 30 mnts only to ridicule me and lecture me about my looks, what she thinks of me and that I have to have PAPER receipt not a scannable electronic version (in Atlanta heat, I take pics of my receipts and I spent $313 on items and could NOT return a $15 DEFECTIVE item, 15 days after purchase. TERRIBLE AWFUL PRISON LIKE COMPANY who refused even to try and scan or input my receipt to help. NEVER EVER WILL I SET MY FOOT INTO THIS CORRECTIONAL FACILITY RUN BY HATERS LIKE LESLIE F. Manager that was working Tuesday 8/28/18 at approximately 6 PM (white older lady with gray hair past her shoulders and glasses) is extremely rude and incompetent. I went to purchase items totaling $22. When I swiped my debit card it only went through for 13 with remaining balance of $8 and some change. I removed $10 worth of items from bag and cashier told me she had to get mgr. manager comes over and asks for my card again saying "they have to run the WHOLE transaction over again" she said this about 5 times over the course of 8 minutes. Long story short, she swipes my card again and payment is declined, I go online to see there is $0 in my account and this "Manager" tells me I have to wait until bank puts refund on my card to purchase items. This makes literally no sense. How is it that I end up walking in with $13 and out with $0 and nothing that I purchased? Also, will be going back tomorrow because the charge shows up on my account but not the refund. I would also like to note that my cashier did a very good job. She was leaving to go home and saw me on phone with bank as she was walking to her car and asked me if I needed anything. Seems like her and the manager should switch spots? read more
