I visited here for the first time recently. Dillard's has always had an amazing shoe selection! This location was no different. My friend's mom was boot shopping and she was able to find some really nice boots on sale. The service received was ok. The lady assisting was helpful. Made online purchase Feb 7. Was notified " shipped" Feb 9. Checked USPS tracking on Feb 11. USPS stated waiting on item. Feb 12 still waiting on parcel. Chatted with customer service who said it was shipped on Feb 9 and I needed to wait for carrier to update status. I said they cant update until you hand over the package. She immediately ended chat. The brand is Betsy Johnson and upon calling them they said Dillards could do an exchange but they were not willing. On 8/15/2025 I visited this location to return an online order that I received damaged. I was insulted by an associate name "Cathy" in the ladies dress dept by her shouting at me "Oh no you have worn this dress and Dillards would never send something out like this". Well I also was shocked and surprised to receive the dress in that condition. Especially when I ordered it for a wedding to attend in Sept. I asked for the mgr and mgr arrived with a similar attitude and said "this one time I'll return it but you should have contacted online". I explained that I didn't on purpose because I wanted someone to physically see what was sent to me‼ I even showed both the pics I took of the dress dated on my phone July 31‼ There was no reason to be accused of anything or the racial profiling. I should have received an apology on behalf of Dillards that someone definitely didn't meet their expectations of quality‼ It would be nice if someone from Dillards retains Cathy and the mgr on duty on 8/15/25 around 7:45PM on the second floor dress area. This is my go to department store. Shopping for my wife, shopping for my kids, shopping for me... I can always find something at Dillards. I get most of my dress clothes from Dillards... for men they carry brands like Hugo Boss, Perry Ellis, Calvin Klein, Armani Exchange, Murano, Psycho Bunny, Visconti... and many more. They have lots of selection, sizes, and variations. I have been buying from Dillards for a long time now. If you take the time to look through their sales racks you can really find some very good deals! I have bought many of my kids clothes from Dillards over the years from dress clothes to casual clothes to shirts and shorts... for boys it is hard to find good fashionable clothes but again there is almost always something that works at Dillards. I can't tell you how many pairs of shoes I have bought for my wife from Dillards over the years! Their service is generally top notch. I can always find help... and most of the time it is good help as well. This remains one of my goto places to shop and as long as they keep up with the fashions, the selection and the service... they always will be. read more

Terrible store , service is non existent. Attempted purchase an $800 suit from the men's dept. No one working on Monday when I first visited. Came back on Wednesday and was ready to purchsae but no tailor available to help with fitting or mark the suit for alterations?? Was told everything is done somewhere else?? Even though malls and department store are becoming a thing of the past...still some things you can't buy online no matter how many photos they post, no matter how detailed the descriptions are or how great the attached videos are. One of them is shoes. I don't know but shoes you just have to try it on. You have to walk around a bit to see if it pinches here or if the cut is too narrow. In my shoe buying experience just because its expensive doesn't mean its well made... I have been shopping at this Dillards since I was a teen. I've had good experiences and I've had terrible experiences. It's a mix bag every time I come in. Sometimes employees will greet and offer to help. Other times they walk past you and just ignore you.... I will occasionally stop by here to purchase women's dress shoes for work because well, I work in a place where they still dress up. Just left the store on a Sunday and there were not many people. Walked past 4 salespersons and they could have cared less if they could help or not. One lady working women's section was in her phone. One sales guy was literally watching TV on his phone and the other two deliberately avoided eye contact in case I may need help. There was a skirt at my local Dillard's in jacksonville, FL that I fell in love with; although, they did not have it in my size. They did a search and found it here at this Dillard's and also at one in Ft. Lauderdale. I called this store first to order the skirt and pay for it over the phone. For some reason, I thought southern people would be friendlier than people in Lauderdale. Boy, was I wrong. The female associate I spoke with in Today's Woman was horribly rude and acted as if my call was the biggest inconvenience. Wish I could remember her name. She did find the skirt, but then she wanted my credit card information and was not going to ring it up b/c she was too busy. She was going to ring it up later and then call me. I told her I did not feel comfortable giving her my credit card info for her to just keep lying around until she could "get to it." She said she was just way too busy to deal with me. She took my name and number and said she would call me back before they closed at 9pm. Luckily, I did not wait for her to call back. Instead, I hung up with her and called the store in Ft. Lauderdale and was taken care of by the sweetest sales associate. She located the skirt and I had everything completed within 10 minutes. Needless to say, the associate at this store never did call me back that night. She did call me back the next evening around 7pm. Too late. I informed her I had already made the purchase from the store in Ft. Lauderdale. She said, "Ok," and then literally hung up on me. I wish now I had called the store back the next day (when I still remembered her name) and spoke with a manager. This just happened in September, but my memory with names is awful. I am a very loyal customer at Dillard's. I have been my entire adult life. I've shopped at many different Dillard's department stores in various cities and states. I have never been treated this way by an associate. I hope not all sales associates treat their customers so poorly at this location. But rest assured I will never again call this Dillard's in the future when I am looking for an item that one of my local Dillard's does not have in stock! read more

I haven't shopped at the mall in quite a while, but hubs and I both needed some things so we decided to pop into Dillard's. Always enjoyed Dillard's in the past, and felt confident we could both find the items we needed. Upon entering the women's section, there was music blaring - truly blaring - to celebrate some line of clothing. I was trying to hurry out of the cacophony but was delayed by not one but two associates, each eager to tell me about a promotion that, if I spent an exorbitant amount, would net me about $20 in rewards. I'm too good at math to fall for "the more you spend, the more you save". I make it around to a quieter section and then find a few items to try. On to the dressing room which held a (stained) upholstered chair and a truly filthy carpeted floor. Truly. None of the items I found were worth taking my shoes off and exposing my feet to whatever was ground into those carpet fibers. I had good memories of Dillard's - but I think it'll be a long while again before I battle traffic and weekend crowds for an experience like this. Disappointing. read more

DILLARD'S WINS! Today I ventured out because I knew that there would be minimal road and foot traffic. I was right! Dillard's was one of a few stores open in North Point due to the inclement weather. I was so happy to see that the North Point entrance was free of snow, (because I dared to wear sandals), and that caution signs were placed near the entrance. This was one of only two anchors opened today as Macy's and JC Penney were not. As I entered, it was very quiet because they had a skeleton staff and few customers. You could have ridden your hoverboard through the entire store without interruption. I like Dillard's because it is very nostalgic and reminds me of my childhood. It was Pheiffer-Blass back then and their boxes were pink with a burgundy trim. Today, I hung out in the men's department and of course received great customer service. I enjoyed being able to take my time and enjoy the fabrics because I love touching the garments and appreciating the weighted material. They have great collections for men that add a touch of class and swag. I appreciated being able to take my time and shop on my terms. It was a very nice and relaxing experience! *** Dillard's rarely has a sale of any significance so when they have markdowns, it is nice to score something special. read more

Went shopping at Dillard's today. The lady in the fancy dress area had disappeared when i needed to be rung up. After awhile another employee came to help me and asked the young lady in the jewelry department to help check me out. The lady in the jewelry department was amazing, she even suggested some great prices to go with my mother's outfit. She began checking us out and the lady from the dress department came Back and mid transaction took the jumpsuit back to her department register and made me check that out over there. It didn't make sense to walk back and forth but she said it was for her quota-this really took me off guard. poor customer service. I was in the store shopping for homecoming dresses for my daughter Labor Day weekend. The department was tidy and not overwhelming with racks. That said, not a huge selection but enough to where we found a dress in the size we needed. Staff was friendly and worked hard putting the tried on dresses back on the floor in a timely manner. One negative observation, the fitting rooms needed vacuuming badly! read more

ABOUT RETURNS -- Buyer beware if the sale price is 65% less than the original price you have 3 DAYS to return your item -- otherwise, it's yours! No return allowed!!! I was unpleasantly surprised by this policy tonight when I went to return 2 items that I purchased for my husband a couple of weeks ago. I had the original receipt sent to my email and never reviewed it. I printed it today in preparation for this return. My salesman pointed out this policy under one item in fine print. I purchased a Michael Kors watch for my boyfriend from Dillards. Today, we went back to get it resized. Well, after having waited for half an hour, we finally got to the counter the the person working refused to resize it unless we had the receipt. She said something about not being able to do it for free because of one thing or another. So I told her I would pay. She then replied that resizing was a free service, but that I needed the receipt. Does this make sense to anyone? So I went to Macy's. They did not require you to have a receipt and they also resized my watch that I had gotten a few months ago. Conclusion: When in doubt, go to Macy's. read more

If I could put zero stars, I would. My boyfriend and I come to this mall often, we walked in today to view the Armani shorts and were stopped, racially profiled and accused of stealing by a Caucasian female security guard who claimed a store associate saw my boyfriend steal the polo hat he was wearing from off a shelf. Mind you, he was wearing this hat when we walked into the store and we never even went into the polo section of Dillard's. The security guard was extremely rude and we will not be returning to this location. I'm extremely appalled by this experience and disappointed that this is the staff Dillard's hires. read more

No wonder malls are becoming obsolete. Arrived at Dillard's mens department at about 130pm on a weekday. Hadn't bought any real clothes......suit..sport coats...nice slacks....in a while. I've given dillards too many chances. Years ago this location had one of a kind nice pieces for women between 25-40. All the clothes now are either real teenie bopper or elderly fashions. The buyers for dillards suck at this location. But the real reason I am completely done with dillards is because when ever I can find something that's my taste someone else has already worn it. On 3 occasions I had purchased dresses and just to discover that deodorant residue was on them, I caught the first two when something told me to check before I left the store which I should not have to do I mean I am not shopping at the goodwill I am thinking I am getting new clothing. This last time I was in a rush found a dress for a last minute wedding I was attending, the dress was ivory so I could not see visible deodorant marks. When I got to Michigan and went to steam the dress 2 hours before the wedding as soon as the steam hit the under arm part of the dress I almost fell out it reeked so bad with the funkiest smell I had ever smelled in my life! I have noticed on many occasion the women that shop there will buy $150-$300 dresses wear them to an event and return them. This is suppose to be a well to do area/mall but I have noticed this for a few years now. If you can't afford it don't purchase it! I am more disgusted at dillards, their policy needs to change if you purchase a dress for a certain amount no returns period! This is happening more and more at this location and that's the reason up until this past Monday I had not shopped there in 6-7 months and this use to be my favorite place to shop years ago. I am done with dillards after I return this dress I tried to clean it as much as I could under the armpits and even sprayed perfume on it but the smell was too strong I masked it as much as I could and wore paper towel under my armpits so I would not touch the dress. When I alerted the shoe salesman he simply shrugged as if there was nothing he could do. I then said he should alert security and he simply said "okay maam". Worst Experience I have ever had. A group of bridesmaids and I went to go try on a dress to wear for a wedding. The lady working in the department, Monica John, was extremely rude during the entire process. During the discussion about the comfortability of the dress, Monica constantly kept interrupting the conversation asking if the dresses will be bought or not. Eventually, we wanted to purchase the dresses, but one of the dresses was damaged. I simply asked if there was a discount for damaged item. However, Monica said that because the item is on sale, there is no more discount regardless of the damage. It's not the first time I've went shopping, so I decided to ask another employee. I asked the other employee if items on clearance were qualified for a discount if it's damaged. She said yes. As I was showing the dress to the other employee, Monica John snatched the dress out of my hands and walked in the opposite direction to unknown location. After waiting several minutes, she brings back the dress along with the manager who ended up giving us the discount which is all I asked for in the beginning. I couldn't believe something like this would happen at such a reputable store. The amount of disrespect I was given today was unacceptable. The bride was about to drop $500 on bridesmaid dresses. I needed to update my makeup and skin care for the summer, and I went to Dillard's to shop for my cosmetics, because my friend told me that I would have a more personalized shopping experience than at my usual department store. The ladies at the Clinique counter were phenomenal. Not only did they help me find a new lip color, foundation, and blush, but they showed me the importance of updating my eye look, and even respected the fact that I wanted to purchase my usual mascara for a different counter, and offered to go get it for me. They did not try to push me on Clinique or make me feel bad about my purchase. Everyone was very friendly and the Clinique consultant was very knowledgable, and really helped me to figure out what I needed for the new season! read more

The store's return policy is infuriating. I wanted to return a gift that someone gave me and no one could help me. I went to a sales associate first who sent me to customer service where I was blatantly ignored. When someone finally decided to help me, my only options were to get the money on a gift card for the store or have the money put back on the card that was used to purchase it. The item was a gift, so I obviously didn't have the card, and by this point why would I want to shop in a store where no one is courteous or even competent?! I called the person who gave me the gift and got their credit card number, gave it to the associate and it required the card be swiped. Since they were in another state, that was impossible. Now I am beyond furious with Dillard's, I have a gift I can't do anything with and I'm going to have to spend money to mail it back to the person who bought it so they can get their money back. Don't shop here if you would like to be able to get your money back on returns. It works great for the company since they keep your money and have no customer courtesy at all!
