Always great finds when I shop at Uptown Cheapskate! The staff is very vibrant and professional, and the deals, especially today was exquisite. I will certainly be back. read more

I bought four trash bags filled with quality clothes from Zara mango aloe yoga Nike. Tell me why they only gave me $26. This used to be such an amazing resource to get some money for quality clothes but now it just feels like like a big riff off will not be going back again. read more

Great selection and nice employees. It's a good place to sell your clothes as well. It's geared towards teens but it has enough good clothing, bags and shoes for any age. read more

Honestly, one of the best Uptown Cheapskates I've been to. I always pop in when I'm visiting friends around Atlanta. The staff is quick and the dressing rooms are decently spacious. They usually have some type of sale going on. read more

OVERPRICED!! Awful selection. They do not give what your donation is worth. Did I mention overpriced. You can buy off the original designers website cheaper than you can hear. Super stupid. read more

This is my favorite place to shop! There are always great finds and frequent sales going on. The store was recently expanded to have more space and to create an entrance into Kid to Kid next door. They sell tons of items, from jeans to jackets to dresses to workout clothes to designer purses to shoes. Some of the items are "new" and sold by Uptown Cheapskate's brand. Generally the prices range from $5-$20. There is a small men's section in the back, but the store is generally geared towards teenagers/young women. You can also bring in clothes to sell, but they're very selective with what they will buy (like with other consignment stores). One thing I really appreciate is that they have about 7 dressing rooms, whereas many thrift/consignment stores only have 2-4. So there typically isn't a waiting line, or a short one if there is. I've only had positive experiences with the staff, who are all pretty young, although it does seem like there's a lot of turnover. I would say about half of the staff were wearing masks. I would recommend signing up for text alerts, as you will get notified of sales - their best one is their 70% off stamped items sales. Sale days are always pretty crowded, but otherwise the store isn't usually too busy. Note that each Uptown Cheapskate is separate, so your rewards don't transfer between stores. Definitely worth a visit if you're into trendy or quality finds at discounted prices! read more

Well organized, friendly staff , clean . Large selection and great value with great sales! read more

RUN! Do not sell nice clothes here that are worth money unless you wanna get 5$ back. This place is horrible at pricing and letting a bunch of teen staff members decide your clothing price is irresponsible. My $70 urban outfitter jeans new with tags was taken for seven dollars. This place is an actual scam. read more

Excellent customer service, awesome clothes, great prices! There is such a great selection of clothing here & I hardly shop anywhere else! This location is amazing!! read more

My mom told me about this spot and I couldn't pass up on going there to check it out. I don't live in the area so I made a trip out of the experience. Once arrived I did notice how clean the place was. I am not one to be shady or bashing other consignment/thrift stores but everything was organized. There was no item of clothing on the ground and the floor was spotless. The level of organization is top tier, they have labels on the wall from small all the way to extra large. It made sorting for your items much easier. One interesting thing is most of the clothes are color coordinated. This location does have a lot of name brand items to choose from. On the door they advertise which color was 50 percent off (for Saturday the day I went it was blue) green 25 percent off and red had a percentage on it as well. Their dressing rooms were clean and spacious. I will be back soon to grab some more good items. read more

I now go every weekend - they have such a great selection and price. The team is super helpful and the clothing is always in such great condition. it feels like finding a treasure of product there. read more

The young ladies working were very nice and helpful. There are a ton of clothes to choose from at great prices.

My bad experiences have been when the manager ( Gregory ) has been on the floor. If he doesn't want to work, tell him to find another job that makes him happy because I've quite had it with his bad attitude. Last few times I shopped there, I didn't see him and had a pretty pleasant experience. I want to like this place because I really love the concept and love the items! I've shopped here since high school like 2015? I'm just going to stay away from here. Such a shame man. read more

The light skin girl with glasses who attended us was very rude, unprofessional she had her shoes off in the store, I came in nicely asked if they took clothes to buy she said yes soon as she seen my bags her whole attitude changed she looked mad? And on the way back to pick up my clothes she didn't even hand me the money in my hand she rudely put it on the counter and she slammed the bags on the counter. I also brought in some real Jordan's they were not too bad in condition but she didn't take them! and I had seen they put some fake Jordans for sale and they were used priced for a lot too:/ read more

$ good savings very good condition clothes. Sweet attitude workers that's what costumers like. read more

I love this store the selection and the staff are always top-notch. They get new stuff all the time and the price is definitely right.

Great store! Uptown Cheapskate feels more like upscale thrifting. While more expensive than Goodwill and other thrift stores, they vet their donations for good quality and trendy items, as well as give cash or store credit to donators, hence the higher price. Higher price is worth it when I can more easily find cute and good quality items than other thrift stores. I've never come out of here without some new purchases! read more

I appreciate that the store credit can be saved and applied for months later. I forgot I had one. I purchased six quality items for less than $30. TIme to get started in the gym. read more

I went in today and took 4 sweaters and a brand new pair of Ugg boots/sneakers and they only gave me $16. What? Not to mention the staff are probably the most unfriendly staff around. I should have taken them to the Salvation Army, at least I would be helping someone! I will never go back to sell or shop! read more

This was my first time and my experience was AMAZING!! I came across a lot of great items and the price was awesome!

Absolutely love this place. They have the best stuff and always organized by color, size and style of the clothes. I always go here first to shop for any event. It caters to men and women. I Tell all my friend and clients go here first before you order off Amazon and spend triple the price!!! read more

I had good luck today! I found 3 pair of shorts and two t shirts to round out the summer wardrobe!

I enjoy shopping here, especially since it's connected to Kid to Kid, I can get more done with less travel! They are always full of men and women's clothing. The staff have always been friendly and helpful the times I have gone. No bad experiences so far. read more

Love shopping here. Love selling here. Only complaint is lack of bigger sizes, especially in men's and shoes.

Gave them brand new Doc Martens because I was hard on money and they gave me $30 total with 5 other items. Dont even give you the option to back out of the sale read more

So I bought a couple things here and they didn't end up working out when I got home so I came to return them the next day, which was a Sunday. They Told me they don't do returns, but I could bring the items in during the week to sell back. I bring the items in that following Tuesday to sell and they don't take anything because they say they are things they don't really sell EVEN THOUGH THEY SOLD IT TO ME 3 DAYS AGO! Like how can you do something like that? The staff is still kind, but they really are not great when it comes to buying clothes. It's just hurtful knowing that I was told I could sell them back and then getting denied and saying they don't really sell those specific items in their store when they sold it to me 3 days ago. All and All, I probably won't be coming back here, there's another Uptown Cheapskate 20 minutes away and I think they handle these situations wayyy better. read more

****HORRIBLE ATTITUDE & Customer Service **** The staff NEVER welcomes or greets you when you enter the store. They don't even bother to make an effort to look at you or make eye contact when you ask them a question. You can forget about asking them for help! These people are unappreciative of the customers. The African American guy in particular always has an unwelcoming & unapproachable energy. I cringe every time I realize that he is the one at the register, because I just don't want to deal with him. He doesn't say hello, thank you shopping there or good-bye...have a nice day...or ANYTHING which is so awkward and uncomfortable. Also, they made it very clear that you can only bring 6 items into the fitting at a time. That's not hard to understand or do. Literally, they will still interrogate you to see if you're doing that. When I shop here I usually have a basket and I sit it outside the door to show that I am following the policy. When I am done the girl had the audacity to ask if I counted the items before I tried on everything... First of all, I said "NO" because they never told me to count the items in the basket beforehand. They just said 6 at a time. I kept the ones that I wanted by hanging them on the outside hook of the door and placed the ones I didn't want on the return counter....like what more do you want??? I don't even carry a bag to shop so where would I stuff clothes into if they really thought I was going to steal something? It's really STUPID because what they can improve on is customer service rather than be rude and play security guard especially on someone who doesn't even carry a purse. Like COME ON! Do better, they got their PRIORITIES MESSED UP! I only go here for the clothes. I agree with all the other bad reviews because I honestly thought it was only happening to ME (apparently NOT). Cooperate needs to consider sending "secret shoppers" to this location. They need it because it'll only hurt the business if they keep this horrible staff. read more

Amazing experience, both selling and buying! Such great selection and the sales associates were helpful and kind.

This store is awesome! Better sales here than at Goodwill. I was really impressed with the selection and the quality of the items. They do an awesome job keeping this store organized. I wish there was one in Chicago ! I bought an adorable blouse and will be back next time I visit. read more

Rude.Rude.Rude These young and immature workers are absolutely terrible I mean laughing about the items you bring and giving very low dollar amount based off of "their" perception of fashion. I love shopping here, but I don't like selling here at all. Kid 2 Kid being right next to you guys makes it convenient to sell my clothes as well as my kids, But I will no longer be selling at this location. read more

Very poor costumer service. Been donating here for years and disappointed with current staff.

To all of the low ratings because the store didn't want to buy your clothes; Please!!!! Stop your crying, and give the store a fair rating. Just because they don't want your clothes, doesn't make them deserve a one star. It's a business that SELLS quality clothes at reasonable prices. They only buy what they think they can run around for a profit. So go shop to buy, or find a better way to get more money for your clothes. With a name like Cheapskate, did you think they would throw a lot of cash at you? Spoiled Brats..... Cheapskate has the best selection I have seen for men's clothing and my girlfriend had some great finds, which makes me happy. I shop a lot of second hand stores, and I can't what to get back : ) read more

Love this place. They have nice stuff and i love going during their little sales. Sadly the staff is horrible and rude. I only had one nice customer service experience here. I wont be shopping here for awhile. Hopefully they change up their staff. read more

The staff was super rude and inconsiderate about their request for me to wear a mask. I cannot wear one for multiple health reasons, but I offered to stay a good 8ft away from other customers and staff (the place was completely empty so that wasn't an issue) so I could still shop for clothes for my husband. I had already been in the store for almost 30 minutes, minding my own business when someone hunted me down and got in my face about not wearing a mask. A mask that I cannot wear, again, because SOME PEOPLE HAVE MEDICAL ISSUES AND CAN'T. Which I explained multiple times. I took my business elsewhere and won't be returning. read more

Wonderful staff, great selection of clothing. Fair buying price for my gently used clothing. Great place to shop!

Store is clean and pretty well organized. I was in twice this past week and found some great deals. Friendly staff.
