Entrance at the corner of the shopping plaza

This is my favorite place to shop! There are always great finds and frequent sales going on. The store was recently expanded to have more space and to create an entrance into Kid to Kid next door. They sell tons of items, from jeans to jackets to dresses to workout clothes to designer purses to shoes. Some of the items are "new" and sold by Uptown Cheapskate's brand. Generally the prices range from $5-$20. There is a small men's section in the back, but the store is generally geared towards teenagers/young women. You can also bring in clothes to sell, but they're very selective with what they will buy (like with other consignment stores). One thing I really appreciate is that they have about 7 dressing rooms, whereas many thrift/consignment stores only have 2-4. So there typically isn't a waiting line, or a short one if there is. I've only had positive experiences with the staff, who are all pretty young, although it does seem like there's a lot of turnover. I would say about half of the staff were wearing masks. I would recommend signing up for text alerts, as you will get notified of sales - their best one is their 70% off stamped items sales. Sale days are always pretty crowded, but otherwise the store isn't usually too busy. Note that each Uptown Cheapskate is separate, so your rewards don't transfer between stores. Definitely worth a visit if you're into trendy or quality finds at discounted prices!

The store has 2 floors and an eclectic array of 1920's-1990's vintage. I was surprised at the amount of massive, complete china sets and complete porcelain figure sets. I found a particular piece I've NEVER seen before and they had the ENTIRE set. The prices were below average for the area and they had a major sale going on while I was there, which was awesome! Both the owner and the cashier were beyond helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I really enjoyed my time in this store and they were so appreciative for my business. They have things from Supreme/Off-White to a nice collection of vintage ATL 1996 Olympic windbreakers. Jiwantsclothes has something for everyone, including coveted sneakers as well. The most impressive thing about all of this is that the owner and employees go out of their way to add to their inventory everyday by shopping at other thrift stores and bringing back some of the best things they can find. This makes Jiwantsclothes a more specialized thrift store, you won't have to spend an hour looking through everything to find just one really nice piece. Another thing that cannot be overlooked is their prices. For the great selection of items they never charge a premium for these vintage clothes. Places like Buffalo Exchange in ATL come to mind when I think of thrift stores with a good but overpriced selection. You can also bring in your own clothes to trade in and receive better payment than places like Plato's closet. Based on all this, It's not hard to imagine Jiwantsclothes getting to the level of Round 2 or Rag-O-Rama if they keep up the great work. I highly recommend giving this place a chance, I'm sure you'll walk out of their with at least one piece of clothing!

Like most consignment stores, Simple Finds is overwhelming with the amount of inventory they have. It is stacked from entry to exit, from wall to wall and floor to ceiling! They have all the varieties of items you would expect at a consignment store from jewelry, art, furniture, tchotchkes, statues, records, lighting and much more. We like to wander around consignment shops and this area of Chamblee Dunwoody, they are plentiful. So, when we make our trip over this way Simple Finds is always on the list to swing by. We are usually after unique furniture items, and on their good days, Simple Finds has a decent selection from small tables to large cabinets, etc...Outside of the furniture, there is not a lot of items that are eye catching for us here. Service is hit and miss here, never terrible, but also not what I would describe as "friendly" either. Additionally, pricing here is a bit inflated. I get the whole "one persons trash is another persons treasure", but come on... Overall, Simple Finds is a random weekend stop for us on occasion. I will say that visiting here is like visiting a massive neighborhood yard sale, so you get lucky from time to time, but for the most part...it is just a place to browse for us.

I'm a HUGE fan!…read more I've been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Located off of Jones Bridge, in the same shopping center as the Kroger. They offer parking. One of the best parts about this place is its open Sundays. It's one of the only consignment stores in the area that has great hours for the working folks! They typically have a $5-10 cart on the outside with some items they're trying to clear. I have found some amazing theory pants on this rack. They carry all types of brands; From high-end to moderate brands, but all in great condition. They will have a sign at the front to tell you what colors are on sale. This weekend I scored a pair of AGOLDE jeans for $8. Amazing! I usually get a good amount of items for under $70. The brands I picked up included, AGOLDE, Banana Republic (NWT and this season), and some theory pants for $11. The customer service is okay. You will get greeted sometimes, sometimes you won't. I've never had a negative experience tho. Everyone is always readily available to help, if you require it. FINAL VERDICT: if I'm ever on a thrift marathon, this is always on my list of places to stop at. I absolutely adore their inventory and I love to shop second hand. Not easy to transport, but she was so excited because she doesn't get out much and she thought this would be a fun day for us. Boy, were we wrong. We spent the entire day yesterday getting summer clothes together as when we called, they said they're only taking summer things. However, on this day, we find out they're only taking "transitional" clothing. They sent several reminders that we had an appointment today at 1:30 with Martha, however when we got there, we did not meet with Martha. It was someone else. but learned later that Martha was sitting steps away, never greeted us. As the owner, I find that disrespectful. After they went through some of our things they decided most of them were too summery. They were only gonna keep a few things and it was at that time, they said they needed to be able to keep 15 things. That was never mentioned on any of the calls or reminders. I asked to speak to the owner and all of a sudden from the back office, I hear I'm back here come in rather than her get up and meet the guest. Her name is Martha the lady I had an appointment with that never came out. I'm shocked at the good reviews must be family members writing in. I've since told a friend about this experience and she said most of the people and Country Club of the South know of this rude owner. To add insult to injury, I am a plus size woman and one of the "ladies"held up my dress and asked her associate "do we take things this big" and the other girl very rudely said "oh no"! In a nutshell, they appeared to be a bunch of people who think they're wielding some power by picking over people's clothing. It turned out really great though cause instead, I went straight to Goodwill and donated these nice items. Still most of them have tags. Feels good to be good to people. At least the recipients can enjoy them and will be appreciative.
