This massive place is a thrift store junkie's dream! I don't know how many of these are located in Atlanta but P.A.T. are my favorite because they have tons of vintage household stuff...when I say vintage I mean stuff that David Cassidy would have worn...sometimes thrift stores are one step up from dumpster dive and some thrift stores don't really take the time to sort through items....they just dump whatever is donated to them...not here...I always find good stuff like vintage Corning cups or a vintage Casio counting machine for $3. I didn't expect much coming into the thrift store. But I knew that the one in my area had special deals on each day of week. Today the majority of items were half off except for the yellow and tan tagged items. I ended up finding a cute Ann Taylor blue navy cross body bag and an authentic coach wallet that matched my coach purse that I thrifted elsewhere. The service was pretty good, and the clerk was patient as I asked to look at items under the cases. I also received a coupon for 50% on my next visit. They actually mark all items in the store down including the name brand and new items. My only advice is to be weary of knock offs that are marked high because of the brand. I found a knock off gucci bag that was almost $40. My total was right under $20 for two authentics. I'll be back bright and early on another half off day. read more

Staff is rude! And watch that they put ALL of your things in the bag! I got home and found that the most expensive item I purchased wasn't in the bag. When I called, no one spoke English- how convenient. I went back to the store and there was no manager there- again rather convenient. The clerk just shrugged her shoulders and told me I should have checked while I was still there. I bought nearly $200 worth of clothing that day. They stuff it in a bag. I hit all the Park Ave Thrifts; even on occasion pop into the Woodstock outlet to peruse the racks. What I will say about this store is that clothing and framed art are my two favorite zones. I seem to always fine unique original art and a few clothing items. Downside, the HVAC system needs work and the store can be stifling on warm crowded days and the unfriendly staff certainly don't make you feel very welcome. This location gets a C-. read more

Every time I go to park avenue thrift it is like I am on a treasure hunt. You never know what will be there so it is best to not go in looking for something specific. I find expensive labels at fantastic prices. If you sign up for their text messages you will often get coupons for an extra 50% off everything on Mondays. My son is growing like a weed so I much prefer paying $3-$4 for nice khakis here versus retail pricing for something he will outgrow in a matter of months. We also find great jeans here. The store is well organized so it makes it easy to shop. I highly recommend checking it out. read more

ANOTHER SHOPPING OPTION! Thrift stores are really starting to pop up around the northern burbs and its nice to have something different to explore. I noticed this store as I was visiting the Kroger center at the corner of State Bridge Rd and Peachtree Industrial Blvd. It is located next to a Beauty Supply store. This is a really large store that seems to specialize in clothing and shoes for men, women and children. They have a huge inventory that includes scrubs for those working in the medical field, housewares, furniture and toys. The clothes are arranged by color and very neatly displayed. Since I took such a cursory glance, I did not happen to notice if the clothing styles were current or on trend but I do believe that with this inventory, you will find something to buy. Not a lot of kitchen stuff but so many jeans! The jeans are cheaper than goodwill. Items are individually priced and the place is huge.

The store is great but the employees are the worst. Each time that I go to shop I spend hundreds of dollars. The female employees are wonderful but the few Hispanic males show favoritism to the other Hispanics. One of the male employees cut in front of me, checked out his item, took it to his car and returned back in the store as if he hadn't seen me in line. Tonight a young Hispanic female came from the dressing room and proceeded to cut in line in front of me. When I mentioned that I was next to be waited on her family member became loud with me causing a scene. When I mentioned it to the Hispanic male he refused to wait on me as if I'd caused the commotion. He was wearing a Fed Ex shirt. When I mentioned it to the other Hispanic male he walked away and refused to service me. So did the lady behind the counter. Since when do we show favoritism to family and friends that shop at our establishment s? Something has to be done! This needs immediate attention! read more

After receiving the text for 50%. I visited the store in Fayetteville Ga. It was suppose to be 50% off the entire store, ( excluding blue ticket, you guess it (everything was blue ticket. the manager was the one at the cash register ( every week there is a different face. I wonder why?} So I put the things back because it was not 50%. Went in there on Sunday, usually it 50% off with a blue coupon, but he never gave me my coupon. I am a big thrifter and love love love a good deal. Very rude staff! They do not speak English and will argue and not listen! They send you coupons and deals to your phone at 8:15 in the freaking morning and do not honor the coupons!!! The store sells cheap things, clothes, toys, furniture, electronics, among others, but sometimes you waste a lot of time to find some good things. I bought a pant for my daughter and got broken after 1 week. So be careful when selecting items in the store. read more

I visited this location and I was asked by 2 other customers for assistance. There was a young lady hanging up ties and belts that could not speak English. All she kept saying was "No English".
