We take a few months throughout the year to stack up donations. And then we just ended up sorting things and putting things in places in the warehouse. It's a really good way for us to work together, to give back to the community. All of the proceeds go to places that are in need, within the community. Giving back a super important, and helping Mama's is consistently in the Forefront of that within Gwinnett county.

He didn't do anything but lay on the floor after we got home. It was almost like they didn't stitch or glue or anything to the incision. There is also excessive bruising all the way from his butt to his lower abdomen. My baby is miserable. I would never take another animal to their spay/neuter van. I ended up taking him to the emergency vet just 3 hours after I brought him home.

Rainbow village helps families who are escaping domestic violence situations, have fallen on hard times, and similar situations. It's a great organization that really needs its volunteers. We served dinner and also ate with the families. For this night, I helped in the nursery with some really cute babies. While we were watching the kids, the parents were taking classes to improve their situation. Another great place to spend some time. We volunteered on a Thursday night, which is a good alternative to the Saturday morning routine.

Rainbow Village is an incredible facility. It is brand-new and does a lot to help those who are in desperate need of housing clothing and food. Some of the clothing and home goods looked kind of ratty but there were some good rather new items too. They do have 50% colored tags for the week so the item might be even cheaper! The home goods section also arranged items by colors which I thought was very fun. I don't see that in a lot of thrift stores. A loveseat couch was like $25 or $35 which was pretty crazy! I also picked up a Frye carrying case for $3 and it was new with tags!

If you are mourning the loss of Goodwill merchandise to the Goodwill ecommerce store, swing by this place and check it out. The selection is insanely good. The persons working the registers were fast and friendly. The prices were a mixed bag. I picked up 3 books each for $2-3 but I suspect that they were priced so low because they came in a long time ago. There were other books I saw prices around 4-5. And still others were $30... but I'm not into those genres and couldn't say what their value was. Everything I looked at was reasonably price but I'm also usually looking for art supplies, books, and music instruments.
