This Marshalls is located in Hammond Exchange alongside Petco, Whole Foods and a few other eateries and shops. This complex sits at the corner of Roswell and Hammond in Sandy Springs, just a few blocks from 285. Given it's location in a large complex, parking is not an issue. You will always be able to find a spot! For the most part, this is your basic Marshalls, however this one does feel larger...but I think it is because it is a very long and deep store, so you feel like you are walking down the main aisle a lot longer than in other locations. The store is laid out well and from what I could tell, was nicely organized. I popped by to check for one thing and of course ended up wondering around the store for 20 unneeded minutes...but really, what else are you supposed to do at Marshalls? Service was ok. The cashier was friendly, but the floor Associates all but ignored me while I was shopping. I was on the same aisle as multiple Associates on several occasions and not once did they speak. No biggie, but come on... Overall, this Marshalls delivers on what I know and love of the brand and when I am in the area, I will certainly swing back through. read more

It just frustrates me that every time I'm in this location they will have a line around the building and four employees standing at the front doing nothing and only 1 or 2 registers open. I understand that everyone has different things they need to do but it's bad customer service to keep customers waiting for over 30 minutes while you are standing at the front ignoring guests that need help. read more

I've only been to this Marshall a couple of times over the years. It's off of Roswell Road in Sandy Springs right near 285. It's next door to the Whole Foods. There is an Office Depot and a Petco nearby. I'm not a big Marshalls fan but my aunt is and I sorta got dragged into the store after we ate at Canton Cooks. This store seems bigger than the other ones that I've been to in the metro area. It seems better stocked too. Their shampoos, soaps, lotions, etc. seems to rival the Perimeter mall location. They have a big home goods section filled with lots of great kitchen items, big fluffy towels in all sorts of colors and sizes for the bathroom and lots of kitchen gadgets.... They have a good selection of items. So many nice things for affordable prices which makes you want to shop and spend more money. Just walking around looking at all the items in the store is kind of therapeutic. I always go straight to the sale/clearance rack first to see what items they're trying to get out of their inventory then make my way to the entire store. Some items I've never seen at other locations but the store could be a little more organized. The floor was dirty and sticky in a lot of areas of the store. I wish they would just spend more time on taking care of the store to make it look more presentable to the customers. read more

I never thought I would make a review on a Marshall's but there's a first for everything. This specific location is nice, but one of the employee's was extremely rude. She made a smart comment to me and my family while we were in the store. I understand that it was close to closing time, but there is no reason to speak to a customer like that. I am not quoting her exactly but this is what she basically said with a slight attitude... "You guys are the only ones left in the store, so don't mess anything up". I heard this and I was taken back a bit since I did not think we were doing anything wrong. We literally was just browsing through the aisles... like any regular person. I have never heard any employee ANYWHERE speak to ANYONE like this before. I assume that she said this because she was impatient and probably having a bad day, but I still think professionalism should still be present. Any decent person would know that that is quite rude to say to a paying customer. Sometimes if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. She should keep this energy with everyone if that's how she feels. She's going to say it to the wrong person one day and regret it. I'm not saying that as a threat, but just as a warning since there's actually some crazy people who would go off on her if they were spoken to in that manner. I'm 1000% sure she would not appreciate it if anyone told her that either. While over in the area, I decided to check this place out due to having some time to kill before my meeting. What I like the most about Marshalls is their shoe selection! They actually have a much better selection than TJs. I tend to like TJs better for their clothing selection, but Marshalls blows them away for shoes! This location is well stocked. This store is impeccable. I have no idea what the previous location was like as I had never visited. This store is very open and spacious unlike other stores which tend to be very crowded and cluttered, (North Point). The racks and shelves were neatly organized and situated. Everything was clean and it was appropriately staffed. Best of all, the sandals have arrived! read more

If I could give them a 0 I would. I have never had a bad experience at Marshalls before. The staff were not friendly and helpful at all. As a matter a fact, one of the employees was on a cell phone leaning on a clothing rack, just watching me search for a gift. Another male employees wouldn't stop long enough to answer our questions.
