This target is not great. Super dated. But the worst is they only ever have one check out lane open. Then sometimes they have "self checkout" lanes open. They only allow you to self checkout 10 items or less. I had 15 small items and the old man in the mask told me they had signs everywhere and to go to the only checkout line open that had a wait. Meanwhile 5+ target employees are just standing around. I asked the checker what was up with that and she said they were "short handed" and the employees were standing around due to pokemon. This place is a joke. Hire some better employees. Fix the self checkout problem. Have more than 1 lane open. read more

This is the first time I visited the Super Target in Milton. It's a very large store with a wide variety of merchandise. When I entered the store, I asked the greeter, who was sanitizing carts, where to find Glade air fresheners. She pointed out the general area, and I began my search. I noticed that they had marked down their holiday merchandise, so I decided to look. I selected a few items and then searched for a price scanner. All of the items were 90% off, which was a great deal. I then had to find the Glade air fresheners. I used the Target App to identify the exact product I was seeking. When you tap on the name of the store, it shows you a map and highlights the exact row where the item is found. I saw an employee stocking shelves, and I asked him where the specific section was located within the store. He walked me towards the center of the store and pointed out the letter and number system. He directed me where to find the D aisles and sent me on my way. While this store is not conveniently located to where I live, I would definitely consider returning the next time I'm in the area based upon the friendliness and helpfulness of the associates. read more

My item was ready to be picked up in about 30 minutes and once I arrived and "checked-in" on their app, a service member was at my car within 60 seconds. Super fast and easy! I find myself here multiple times a week, buying things I don't need. Sometimes to get away from my kids, I come here to walk around aimlessly. This target is extremely clean and always well stocked. My favorite is the dollar spot. I end up buying random little toys and trinkets. But there isn't a big sale section here like the Target on North Point (probably a good thing though). read more

Round 2 since my previous review was removed. This Target is a perfect example of the performative nature of Target's fraudulent celebration of inclusivity and diversity. I complained privately about the actions of the self-checkout employee and received zero response from Target. I too would not want to be exposed in a public forum either. I am a black woman and every time I go to this store I am watched and it is blatantly obvious that Target has trained its employees to monitor the actions of customers who match my demographic. My last trip to this Target location was problematic as always. I used self-checkout because none of the cashier-assisted lanes were open. I placed my shopping cart so that I was between the shopping cart and the scanning machine. The cart was visible to the employee at a distance. There were no spills and I did not indicate that I needed any assistance. I did split my purchase in two because Target does not accept FSA debit cards. I did nothing to hide any item in the cart. The final two FSA qualified items were pushed to the side of the cart furthest from me while I scanned my other items and remained visible at a distance. While I was paying for my purchase with Apple Pay, I guess the self-checkout attendant's training kicked in and she decided to "clean" the checkout area that I was still actively using it. AGAIN THERE WERE NO SPILLS. So I guess in addition to my natural tendency to steal, I am also dirty because what other reason would she have to insert herself in my space. The chemical spray was harsh and alcohol based and caused my eyes to water. There were two other white customers who were allowed to checkout in peace. Must be nice. Don't worry I did give the attendant a piece of mind because Target is clearly satisfied with her performance. read more

This has to be the most bizarre Target I've ever been to. It's mind boggling to me how one of the largest Targets also has the worst health and beauty selection I've ever seen! Aside from not yet having been remodeled, they barely have anything. They have a fraction of the selection of the other stores I've visited. Then the layout... The shampoo and hair products are nowhere near the makeup and body products. They're on a random aisle in the store. Speaking of random, cleaning products are found in THREE DIFFERENT SECTIONS!!???!! Good luck finding a regular mop! You have to search several aisles away from the swiffer mops and past home storage to find a real one! How does that make sense?!?! Whomever designed the layout of this place was blind, on drugs or both (I'm going for both). Oh and the home section is also divided up and placed randomly. There are two areas with bathroom garbage cans and they are no where remotely near each other. The reason for the two stars: they're generally stocked on non beauty products if you can find it (and probably because many before you have given up). read more

What you'd expect! This super target has a Starbucks which is perfect so you can caffeinate while you decide which throw pillows you must have! The only con to this location is they always have the self checkout options open and very few registers which are not self checkout. Even during Shelter in Place where I'm sure they're being bombarded daily with complaints about "why is there no toilet paper" and confusion about staying 6 feet apart from everyone else, the staff is just welcoming, friendly, and gosh darn helpful. My go to place when I need to buy anything food/party/home decor related. If I enter from the grocery doors my first stop is Starbucks because I need caffeine to fuel the two hours I'm about to spend shopping here. If I enter from the home department, I go straight to the dollar section which should actually be called the $1-5 dollar section. You can find items related to whatever holiday/season it is. The home decor is always very trendy but tasteful. You can find clearance items at the end caps. Target is very clean and never crowded. The workers ask you if you need any help and are friendly. I recommend opening a Red Card credit card or debit card if you shop here frequently because you get 5% off your entire purchase every time. GTG. Time to make a Target run. read more

Target in general is a great retailer. The Super stores have everything you need on a day to day basis. It's my families go to store for everyday items. This store though needs some work with personnel and customer service. I needed to buy a new Fitbit because and I had plenty of time to decide because I stood in the consumer electronics department for 20 minutes without seeing a single employee of the store. Finally someone walking by was able to help unlock the peg so I could get my product. After I paid and was leaving the store, the alarm sounded so I assumed that there must have been a magnetic tag on my Fitbit box. The girl at the self check out didn't budge. Didn't turn around. I waited in line at the Returns counter to have the magnetic strip deactivated. The store is nice, has stuff I need but the staff there is either under managed or mismanaged. read more

Pretty much as soon as I need anything, my first thought is Target and this location, being newer and larger, is usually where I head...while battling traffic at Windward and Hwy 9 can be a headache, it's worth it. On a recent trip, I spent two enjoyable hours browsing and got all the items that I needed: - skinny mocha at Starbucks - card for a co-worker - new flannel sheets - a VERY comfy set of pajamas - eggs - orange juice Being a Super Target, this location literally has everything and I have to give them big kudos for service. The associates are efficient, friendly and helpful, so my shopping experiences have always been good. The Milton store has, IMO, really good grocery, clothing, accessories, bed/bath and seasonal departments - hubs is always happy to spend time in their electronics/movie section, so it gets a thumbs up as well. As one of the primary anchor stores in a large strip shopping center, this Super Target is usually pretty busy, but if you want to avoid the crowds, Monday and Tuesday evenings and Sunday mornings have worked for me. read more

I like going to target and especially searching for their yellow tag clearance. Its always a pleasure to shop here since its peaceful and not utterly crowded. You get everything if you visit the super center but the regular Target does not have a huge fresh produce section which is alright sonce you still do get the basics. They bave a great collection of toys section amd always something on clearance too. The bakery has yummy cakes and I like it more then many of the bakeries around. Again the bakery is only available at the super target and not regular target . Over all i prefer coming here since my kids are smalland easier to browse here. And their carts are also pretty smooth to maneuver. read more

OMG. I love this Target. I just wish this location was closer to my work place. This location is super big. I mean. It is a "Super" Target. lol. When I first walked in, the Starbucks, produce section, and make-up aisle caught my eye. I was literally like a little girl in a toy store as I walked their make-up area looking at the vast make-up clearance they had. Yes, I had to tell myself to resist the major urge of picking up everything because it was so cheap. :\ Associates were friendly and asked if I need assistance as I walked each aisle looking at random things to buy. lol! I just 1) seriously love Target, 2) had coupons (like an old lady) that I wanted to use, and 3) just didn't want to go home. I really love this location as it was clean, had a nice shopping vibe, had pretty good deals, and really friendly employees as all Targets should. This location is in a shopping strip and shopping area for that matter. There's restaurants, health services (i.e. spa), and misc. businesses in the area as well. Well, like anything in the Milton/Alpharetta area, these kind of places are abundant. And by the way, you can only check into a business every 4 hrs. I've never been inside this location however, I have a drive-up order almost every week. The employees are always really nice and they don't slam my trunk after placing my items in it. I asked where the milk was to a young female worker, and she pointed me to the wrong direction. I went to the back of the store and noticed that she was dancing while I was still looking for the milk. I asked for her again, she noticed me and went into a room to which it seemed like she was hiding from me. Hoping this doesn't happen to anybody. Beside the fact that I love all Super Target stores because of their vast array of "everything you can think of", and good customer service, I love it when an associate goes out of his or her way to make me happy. This evening I visited Target to get my favorite evening snack - their huge chocolate chip peanut butter cookies that are baked fresh daily. I was disappointed to see they were out of stock. I saw an associate busy working behind the counter, so I thought I would ask if they may have any in the back. Anini was eager to help me. I couldn't believe it, as it was later in the day, and because I'm accustomed to being told "all we have is what's out there" (this applies to most stores - not Target.) With a huge grin on his face, Anini seemed almost as excited as I was to tell me that he had some freshly baked cookies in the back. He wrapped them up for me and absolutely made my night. People often don't realize that the smallest acts of kindness are the most appreciated. "Thank you" Anini, and "thank you" Target! I love Target. So when I saw Super Target I hoped my usual positive experience would be super-charged. Thanks to the employees here, it was. Super Targets look a lot like regular Target stores, but with an expanded produce department. That is surely a plus when you're trying to get all your shopping done in one place. This particular store was also stocked with superheroes masquerading as employees. Tamara was so helpful that she stopped what she was doing to help us locate a basket we were looking for. Not only did she look it up in her handheld computer, then call someone to find the location, and finally walk us to the right aisle, but when it wasn't there she went to the stockroom to get it for us. That is what customer service should be! Our cashier was also very friendly, giving us tips for signing up for the Red card and cracking jokes. All in all, it was a super great experience! read more

Received excellent customer service from Zoribel in the blanket section of the store. My husband and I were looking for an electric blanket and she took my husband and I, right to where they were. When we were looking for a "king size" we accidentally dropped some off of the display. My husband apologized to her, but she assured him it was "okay" and that she would take care of it, as that was her job. Imagine that! She was friendly, kind ... wished us a goodnight and even smiled at us! I had to go back and get her name. So many times we complain about horrible service...I'm that much more appreciative of receiving excellent service. Great customer service is alive and well at this Target in Milton, Georgia! It's bright, there is always parking available, and usually the staff is helpful. I say usually, because I have had a few issues with a male customer service rep, who has been nothing but unhelpful. The location of this store is fabulous. It's never crowded and the staff are so pleasant. Specially, Brian and Angela, who went out of their way to make my 3 yr old son feel "part of the team." For a few weeks, they didn't have stickers to give out. My son spoke to the manager, Brian, and requested stickers. The next time in the store, Angela surprised my son with a ton of stickers! He was thrilled! Not only did they listen to a 3 year old's request, but they provided me with an opportunity to teach my son the value of using his words and the power of advocacy. I refer to this target as the walmart of targets simply because they never have more than 4 aisles open so I am not sure why they have 20+ aisles. The cashiers are SLOW. So. Slow. Gouge your eyes out slow. Don't worry, I want to spend all day trying to check out. Actually I don't. So I normally drive 10-15 minutes out of the way to the target on peachtree parkway where they always have ample aisles open and cashiers who understand the objective is to get people out of the store. I gave it 3 stars because despite the utterly slow check out, this store is consistently clean and you can find what you are there for (plus the 8274 other items you didn't come for, but somehow end up in your cart because after all this is target). There is always enough staff roaming around to help out (wish they would roam up to a check out line) and point you in the right direction. And the shopping carts are real cool. All targets need those big plastic fisher price looking things. read more

What I like about this Target is that it is always clean and that the check out is quick. I also like having the Starbucks inside so I can get a coffee while I shop around. There are two drawbacks: #1 their fruit and vegetables suck so I have to go to either Publix or Whole Foods if I want something decent. #2 Their stocking strategy is not great, they are often out of popular items while having a ton of stock on items nobody seems to buy. So at the end of the day, it is probably the most convenient store in the area and you are in and out quickly. If you have some extra time, or if you want better quality food I recommend you go to Publix instead or Whole Foods if you are OK with spending a little extra money. read more

Moved from Houston to Alpharetta and used drive up all the time. Much better service and quicker in Houston. In Alpharetta you have to wait a long time even after you tell them you're coming. Will continue to use the service as it's convenient, I just give myself extra time now. read more

Where shall I start? Well seems especially in the past couple months when i go to this local target there is a issue. Today 11/14/18, I return a couple of items, 1 I had the original receipt and asked for the store credit to be put on a merchandise card instead of my debit since I'm in need of a few things there and this particular debit card I used it takes several days to be available on it , so the young lady In Cust service says No Problem. Hands me back my Original receipt Plus the merchandise card with the store credit on it and store credit receipt, my 2nd return I didn't have the receipt But since I used my debit card she was able to look it up and I opted for it to be put back on my card. So after I finished at customer service , I go and shop for my items, go to Self check out, scan my items , scan the merchandise store credit card and something is wrong bc all of a sudden here comes an employee. I say I don't understand why when I put the access code for the card why it didn't take , she said bc I Have NO balance on it, I said What? And I explained showing her and telling her about my return etc , but she said let me check your card, she goes to a regular register, Comes back and says to me, it's Just like I thought , you have No balance on it. I then explained why I should, so she says go to Cust service, so I leave my items there for the moment, go to Cust service which is very close to the self checkout area I was at, but there is a Different young lady there now, so I explained why I was there in front of her, she was rude, etc from the beginning , telling me, Yeah , I know, when I explained, I told the previous lady working behind Cust service counter that I said to put the amount on this card , then I showed her the card with the amount the young lady had wrote on it. So why is there a 0 balance? she said bc she put it back on my debit, No I'm sorry that happened, just attitude! But she voided it and returned it to the card like the first person was Supposed to have done when I was first there, but she this different employee, was acting like it was No big deal wasting my time etc. I know things happen, but just a few weeks ago I needed cash back while I was at the self checkout , so I explained to the lady working in that self checkout area that the last time not long ago , I needed it back and did I choose credit or debit, and yes I should have known debit but sometimes unfortunately lack of sleep, being distracted I forget , so she Assured me credit so when I chose that , Wrong ,out prints my receipt and nothing pops up to chose any cash back. So I had to buy something else then choose debit for cash back. So this second time the lady once again tells me Credit and I once again believed her and I forgot so I chose credit and once again no option for cash back so I speak to a supervisor and he was Very nice and took me to a regular register and rerang my items and I chose Debit the Right option for cash back and told him, thank you very much, I don't want anyone in trouble and maybe I should already know Debit but the employees should definitely know this to tell a customer who forgets and asks them , and he agreed and apologized again and said he will definitely make sure the employees Know from Now on if someone wants cash back they have to put in their pin for debit and I said thank you and I Also hopefully will remember that myself . 3 Stars for the Very Nice Supervisor, very good location close to my home, other stores and restaurants in same shopping center I frequent, pretty clean store, mostly friendly and helpful employees, always find what I need usually, usually plenty of cashiers to check you out plus self checkouts on both sides of the store for faster service, would of been 5 stars but the rude young lady in customer service needs an attitude adjustment ASAP! read more

This is the Target that is closest to me and I love it. Kind of off the beaten path from the main artery of Windward Parkway. I believe and hope this is why it's not crazy busy all the time. Store is clean and always well stocked. In terms of all Targets, this is one of the better ones. read more

I have always liked Super Targets better than Wal-Mart. They seem to be cleaner, more options, better produce, and their Archer Farms store brand blows the competition out of the water. I have been waiting for this place to open since I moved to Alpharetta about a year ago now. I finally had the chance to go there last night and was thoroughly impressed. It was obviously going to be clean and the carts were awesome, yeah I know that I'm a dork. They have a great vegetarian selection and tend to gear many of their products to environmentally savvy products. Sorry Kroger, no soup for you! read more

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED! I really like the location of this Target because it is situated in a shopping area so that is not easy to miss. It is also more active than some of the other Targets so I really like coming here. It has a very easy lay out and I find it easy to locate the various departments. Some of the other stores can be a bit confusing especially as you leave the perimeter of the store. A few years back, they had a incredible sale on patio furniture and I wanted all of the pieces to a particular set. The employee took the time to call various stores throughout the are before locating the furniture in Lawrenceville. The furniture was placed on hold and we were able to pick it up. I'm sometimes surprised at some of the clothing items they carry, (cute, comfortable, stylish options in great fabrics). Whenever you go in this store you must check the clearance racks because there is always something unexpected. Nice selection of products and great customers service. read more

I talked with an associate who was a female called Lori and she scanned and noticed that they did not have it in stock. She looked via scanner and she found in a nearby Target and spoke with their Guest Services and locked in on our awesome sauce product. Amazing customer service and gladly walked us out of the door!! We went into this Milton Target early this morning, ( after 9 am) filled up our basket and went to checkout only to find NO ( zero) checkouts opened.. Only the self check outs. I'm Very disappointed, they want to save a couple bucks to have us do the work for them ourself. I will not. .
