2nd time going to this CVS and had no problems the first time. Today I was being followed by employees. It got to the point where I felt uncomfortabled and asked was something wrong. Apparently, I was talking to the manager and he said no just checking to see if you need any help. Really? If you thought I needed help why didn't you come up to ask me. Not follow me around the store and staring me down. Mind you I look like everyone else in the store. Clean outfit, hair fixed and was treated like shit today. I wish I got the manager name but he wouldn't give it to me. Asked multiple times but he went into his office. I'm a very quiet person who doesn't like to start things so after that interaction I just left. read more

What on earth has happened to CVS? They tried to make themselves look like a general store as well as a pharmacy and have now failed as a pharmacy / drugstore. I was looking for a very specific type of bandage which their website said they carried, when I couldn't find it on the shelves I asked at the pharmacy counter and was referred to the guy restocking the Gatorade. His comment was "I have never heard of that" and turned away from me and indicated the conversation was over. I was surprised that I was able to get it at Walmart with no problem, I also needed some self adhesive bandage and discovered that not only was Walmarts version 2/3 of the price, it was far better quality than the CVS own brand I had been using. I'm trying to become a Jack of all trades they have become a master of none. read more

Generally, there is a high turnover in this store. Some folks are friendly but a couple of employees have just ruined this store for me by acting like they are better than their customers. As soon as I get my next reward that I pay for each month, I will not be going back for a long while. read more

I love CVS over Walgreens, so this review might be bias. However, I will be totally honest. The store is pretty clean and organized, they do offer a sanitize station for carts and possibly for your hands too. (i carry my own hand sanitizer so i'm not sure) The associates are super helpful and kind when you're searching for something, applying coupons, and getting a better understanding of the deals and promotions (extra bucks perks). I've also used the photo station before for my Passport photo it was simple, fast, and clear! Never been to the pharmacy. The restroom was alright, wouldn't say it's the best but then again it's CVS you're usually in and out within 5/10 minutes. The only downsides to this location is that they have less of a selection and a handful of items do not have prices on them. Although they have a price checker, nobody wants to walk back and forth for each item when it could just be priced. Overall it's a great store! read more

I received an automated call from my doctors office that they had sent a prescription to my pharmacy. (CVS Pharmacy in Loganville, GA) As I had not requested a prescription, I contacted the doctors office to see what the situation was. They stated that the request cam to them from the pharmacy. When I contacted the pharmacy, I was told that if there are no more refills on a prescription the pharmacy automatically sends a request to the doctor. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of! The prescription they requested is one that I use only seasonally and get a new one from my doctor at my annual physical. CVS...DO NOT request something from my doctor that I have not even asked for! Stay out of my business!!! read more

Talked to CAROL ,(Manager of Pharmacy), at CVS Loganville, she was AMAZINGLY FANTASTIC. SHE sorted everything out. Explained many things, and helped my confusion. What a difference!! My initial judgement (I admit, I left a bad review before) was COMPLETELY changed by her SINCERE attitude. She went ABOVE any customer service I've ever seen. Showed a very CARING & Professional side. KUDOS to CAROL @ Loganville Pharmacy at CVS !!!!!! Its important that we all try to work together & meet our needs. The pharmacy itself if the worst pharmacy I have ever used! If I wasn't forced to use CVS due to my work insurance I would go elsewhere! They never have scripts in stock, they call and say the script is ready and 99% of the time it isn't, they get angry if you call and verify to see if the script is ready. Many times I have "picked up" my scripts and never actually did. So I don't know who has my medication. I have my meds on automatic refill and yet it is never in stock magically. They staff is rude, uncaring, and unfriendly. This CVS used to be amazing when we first moved out here. Slade was wonderful! Ever since Slade and that staff left it has gone so down hill! If you can use another pharmacy I would! I would even steer clear of CVS if possible. read more

After having some difficulty with the pharmacy even correctly receiving my prescription and nearly a week I was finally able to collect only to be denied half my prescription and being told to come back in three months for the rest of it. My doctor thinks the prescription she wrote is fine. The pharmacy should not be able to undercut my doctor. read more

Small store, friendly associates. Sometimes it gets a little backed up at the register but I think they run a very light staff. CVS brand health and beauty brands are very nice. The store is stocked well and I catch myself browsing different products that I was not originally shopping for. read more

if I could give this pharmacy a negative star I would. I have been a loyal user of CVS pharmacies until moving to Loganville. After moving I used them for two years, in spite of numerous inconveniences, i.e. receiving text saying medication was ready only to drive into town and learn it was not, my husband stopping to pick up my medicine and recieving 1 of 3 ready prescriptions, causing a return trip, staff that would not take responsibility for issues choosing instead to place blame on rotating pharmacists. I even overheard one tech saying she couldn't go visit her sick granmother because it would be too hard on the pharm tech bc her grandmother was dying. I went across the to Walgreens after that and its been great. Until I forgot how bad CVS was and went to them bc Walgreens was out of the medicine my child needed. the prescription required prior approval, with no explanation on how to get that I paid cash for expensive medication. When I went to get the refill, I specifically asked that the prior approval be faxed to the number on the prescription. That is the law. three days later they are still awaiting prior approval. I was told they had worked tirelessly on helping get approval. when asked what number they used,low and behold, it was not the number on the prescription. they had been calling tirelessly the wrong dr's office. Ive never encountered such incompetence in my life. Peoples lives are at stake. forget about calling corporate bc they dont take complaints. Maybe the pharmacy board will. read more

This has got to be the worse CVS I have ever gone to ! The experience when you first walk in is you pretty much get ignored No greeting... and the pharmacist there The African woman with short hair has got to be the most rudest and just plain nasty mean attitude I have ever seen and I've shopped at many CVS"s in my time! The employees at this pharmacy are so rude and refuse to help you and do their job, and after being treated just flat out rudely I decided to turn around and ask this lady why she's being so rude and nasty towards me and as I returned to the counter she was standing there talking about me and bad mouthing me to the other employee in front of the other customers there waiting! And of course there was no manager on duty to speak to so needless to say I will never return to this location and I advise everyone else to do the same! And this lady works in health care! This store seems to get a lot of grief by reviewers, but I think some of that is because the store is open 24-hours. I know that is not an excuse, but an explanation. Heck, why am I defending them, I don't work there? But I think we all need to be fair. When a prescription isn't filled in time, sometimes it is the fault of the doctor not authorizing it. Until that happens, sometimes the pharmacy's hands are tied. Most doctor's offices don't respond to refill requests from pharmacies very promptly. I know, I used to work in a doctor's office. We were so slammed by the phone ringing constantly, and patients right there with us, that authorizing prescription refills was LAST on the list. We cared, we were just slammed. Sometimes we would work through lunch (sometimes I would do that unpaid, just because of the peace and quiet to think to be able to solve problems, if only for 45 minutes!) A refill request authorization from a doctor's office goes like this: *Request is from the pharmacy or patient & left on doctor's voice mail. *An employee at the doctor's office has to write down each message. There are often 25 or more messages by the way. *All those have to be listened to, then the appropriate patient file needs to be pulled, the request clipped to their file, and the file put in the doctor's IN box. If it is an office with 4 providers like ours, then the employee also needs to make sure the refill request and folder goes in the correct doctor's IN box. *Doctor has a full day of patients, barely gets time to eat. *An employee runs out and gets him a Wendy's chili and a baked potato. *Doctor tries to eat lunch while returning calls to other doctors and urgent patient needs. Note: medication refills are not urgent needs. Urgent needs are patients who are bleeding. It wasn't that I didn't care that you needed a refill of Ibuprofen 800, it's just that 3 other patients might have to be admitted to the hospital and an elderly woman's entire reproductive system fell out of her body (yes, not kidding) while she was on the toilet. *If 4 pm patient is a no-show, then the doctor could authorize your refill then. Keep in mind it is not just initialing your file and saying yes. The doctor has a lot of patients and will need to look inside your file, see when the last time was that he/she saw you, see if a refill is indeed appropriate, and if you have added any other medications that could make authorizing a refill unsafe for you. This is an important step to not poison you. *In interest of time, the doctor or his staff may reorganize the patient files/concerns by whatever the situation is. Obviously a post surgery patient having pain problems and having a reaction to the pain medication that was subscribed is going to go FIRST. The doctor may even need to call that patient right then, which means the rest of the authorizations will sit while he makes that phone call to speak to the patient. This is the kind of attention YOU WOULD WANT and deserve if you had been the surgery patient, right? *If the doctor gets through the stack in record time, especially if he was able to work on some of it during lunch, at the very end of the workday, he will go through the rest of it. He wants to get it done as badly as you do, because he wants to go home....and have a life....and we the staff want it all done too. It does not help us get your refill faster for you to call us and complain about it. Continually calling just slows down everything. If you left a voice mail, then PLEASE do not call to get through...because then an employee ends up trying to work on your concern AGAIN when the voice mail has been retrieved, which means trying to do the work twice. At the very least, if you DO decide to call in and you get a live person to help you, PLEASE let that office worker know that you ALSO left a voice mail, so that the staff member can let the person working the voice mail retrieval know that it has ALREADY BEEN HANDLED. PLEASE do not wait until the last minute to get your medications refilled. If you take a medication regularly, I've found it helpful to keep a week's worth of the medication in an extra medication bottle with the same label, and that is the RESERVE stock. When you have to go to that Reserve bottle for medications, that is your signal that it is time to request a refill. This is how you can prevent that last minute panic. THINK AHEAD if you are planning a trip. DON'T BLAME THE PHARMACY STAFF if your insurance doesn't pay enough or the prescription costs too much. It is YOUR insurance policy, not theirs. Those folks have to deal with coupons, ExtraCare cards, ExtraCare Bucks, Discount cards from pharmaceutical companies, etc. They don't like that they're short staffed either. They don't make the decisions, corporate office does This is not my favorite CVS by any means, but it is good to have a 24 hour ANYTHING around these parts, where we roll up the sidewalks when the sun goes down. read more

I gave been coming here for years. Getting all my last minute things that I need for whatever. They have good prices and friendly workers.

I used to use this CVS all the time. After a few too many pharmacy errors and mix ups I changed to Publix pharmacy and never looked back. I recently went in to buy some nuts as I do like their nut selections and was given the once over buy an employee over the price for the nuts that was on the shelf. The man working behind the counter was so rude I finally told him to go look at the shelf to see the price. Needless to say I did not purchase my nuts and left the store never to return. They are rude and lazy. I will visit the CVS down the road for future chocolate covered cashews purchases and avoid the Loganville store like the plaque. It has serious problems with rude, lazy, and just plain miserable employees. Plus, the pharmacy always made a lot of errors and took forever to fill prescriptions if they had them in stock. Publix pharmacy has been fast, error free, and very polite. read more
