It was the first time I had ever scheduled after hours so was worried how the process would go. In my request, I put in for furniture protection cloths. When I arrived, the process was easier than I thought. I dloaded the Uhaul app, and they had 5 lock boxes near the front door. Through the app, it gave me a code for the key and also a photo of where my uhaul was. Everything was all there! The drop-off process took a little longer (had to take like 8 photos) but the convenience and ease of getting/returning Uhaul was much simpler than I expected. The only complaint I have is that the small uhauls don't have a ramp and I "think" the Uhaul we had contained bed bugs. Please thoroughly clean vehicles after each use.

The move out process couldn't have been easier, and the parking/gate entry process was very simple as well. They also have a user-friendly app for reviewing your account, updating/making payments and this is also where you can find your personalized gate code. I've been with nearly every other company and have never had the same level of problems. They have very vague collections practices in hopes that you forget your belongings so they can auction and collect insurance. When you call to make a payment they block your account on both the phone and website so that additional late fees accrue. After a certain date you must pay in person which is even further predatory because if you cannot come in they will insist and REFUSE payment also all payments must be in full so if you do not pay again... you're at risk of losing your belongings. I understand how public storage works but this is the first time in my entire life that I've been hit with a Lein and risk of losing my belongings for being 31 days late. After voicing my frustrations with a manager she encouraged me to not pay until the auction which again is predatory in them hoping I lose my valuables I am contacting a lawyer because there are terms in my contract and my history with this company that prove their tactics to be predatory .

The lock was drilled out and several carloads were stolen, including a couch requiring multiple people to lift. My partner found out when he came back to his unit and the instantly lock fell out. His unit was right in front of a security camera and required two passcodes to enter the facility. We have been unable to contact the property manager. After we reported the issue, his unit got broken into again! The unit is not at all secure as the website claims. Also, he's had issues with leaks and had been stuck in an elevator. The police did recover one item from a pawn shop but have not turned over the identity of the culprit(s) based on the pawn shop record or the security footage. They also have not released the name of the pawn shop where the item was found. Please do not rent from here if you have unique values. My partner is a musician and will likely never recover the creative property that was stolen from here.

Unfortunately, I experienced a financial setback and could not afford to keep using Closetbox. They did something incredibly kind for me-they delivered my stuff to a location of my choice within a 20 mile radius of their facility for free!!!!! They're not just a business, they are kind and compassionate people.

I had a very…read moreeasy time booking my service and the estimates for moving things was fine, although it was a bit strange that a couple of lamps raised my rate/month by $5/month. (Doesn't make any sense? Let's keep going). Evidently there's important fine print in the pick up confirmation email regarding what the mover will and will not do. They will pick up your stuff, but you're expected to disassemble your own bed and wrap all glass and mirrors. I didn't mind paying for these services, but they definitely need to share this information when you book over the phone. I would venture that a good chunk of people have at very least never disassembled a bed. I called them twice to let them know I would need help. Evidently this was confusing each time I told them because they all seemed to forget I told them. Then the day of the pick up came. I went to my old apartment and wrapped the glass I could lift myself. I taped my drawers. All this was done before 9am. The time window I was given was between 9 and 11. By 10:50, they called and told me that it would be 1pm. Then began four hours of back and forth and an utter inability to contact those actually picking up my stuff. They finally arrived at 440. 20 minutes before my service elevator reservation was up. I had to ask for an extension and the building was not happy-they shockingly like to plan for convenience for their inhabitants coming from work. The movers did fine, although they grumbled quite a bit about helping me wrap the things I'd mentioned several times that I would need help with. But the attitude was very, "we have no idea why you're so put out." Um...I get running behind. But 6-8 hours late is bulls*it. The company credited me $25 for my trouble but I have to say, this doesn't begin to cover it. Closetbox then said a customer service rep would be contacting me to address my complaints. Evidently someone called and failed to leave a msg. I think they're scared of me, but all I've done is express dissatisfaction and I think I should be credited for a month for the awful service + extreme delay.

Not only that, when I left a valuable item outside the building, she recovered it put it aside for me to pick up!
