The staff was very friendly and helpful, and even went out of their way to find me a cart (on two different occasions). The move out process couldn't have been easier, and the parking/gate entry process was very simple as well. They also have a user-friendly app for reviewing your account, updating/making payments and this is also where you can find your personalized gate code. All in all, I highly recommend this CubeSmart location for any storage needs in the Dunwoody area.

Buyer Beware! If I…read morecould give less than one star I would. I've been renting public storage units for years and have never encountered a more predatory company. I've been with nearly every other company and have never had the same level of problems. They have very vague collections practices in hopes that you forget your belongings so they can auction and collect insurance. When you call to make a payment they block your account on both the phone and website so that additional late fees accrue. After a certain date you must pay in person which is even further predatory because if you cannot come in they will insist and REFUSE payment also all payments must be in full so if you do not pay again... you're at risk of losing your belongings. I understand how public storage works but this is the first time in my entire life that I've been hit with a Lein and risk of losing my belongings for being 31 days late. After voicing my frustrations with a manager she encouraged me to not pay until the auction which again is predatory in them hoping I lose my valuables I am contacting a lawyer because there are terms in my contract and my history with this company that prove their tactics to be predatory .

Closetbox picked my things up from a Public Storage unit which had been broken into (this the reason for moving my things out) and delivered them to their facility. Unfortunately, I experienced a financial setback and could not afford to keep using Closetbox. They did something incredibly kind for me-they delivered my stuff to a location of my choice within a 20 mile radius of their facility for free!!!!! They're not just a business, they are kind and compassionate people.

Well I guess I'm an outlier but it's probably useful for me to share my experience. I had a very…read moreeasy time booking my service and the estimates for moving things was fine, although it was a bit strange that a couple of lamps raised my rate/month by $5/month. (Doesn't make any sense? Let's keep going). Evidently there's important fine print in the pick up confirmation email regarding what the mover will and will not do. They will pick up your stuff, but you're expected to disassemble your own bed and wrap all glass and mirrors. I didn't mind paying for these services, but they definitely need to share this information when you book over the phone. I would venture that a good chunk of people have at very least never disassembled a bed. I called them twice to let them know I would need help. Evidently this was confusing each time I told them because they all seemed to forget I told them. Then the day of the pick up came. I went to my old apartment and wrapped the glass I could lift myself. I taped my drawers. All this was done before 9am. The time window I was given was between 9 and 11. By 10:50, they called and told me that it would be 1pm. Then began four hours of back and forth and an utter inability to contact those actually picking up my stuff. They finally arrived at 440. 20 minutes before my service elevator reservation was up. I had to ask for an extension and the building was not happy-they shockingly like to plan for convenience for their inhabitants coming from work. The movers did fine, although they grumbled quite a bit about helping me wrap the things I'd mentioned several times that I would need help with. But the attitude was very, "we have no idea why you're so put out." Um...I get running behind. But 6-8 hours late is bulls*it. The company credited me $25 for my trouble but I have to say, this doesn't begin to cover it. Closetbox then said a customer service rep would be contacting me to address my complaints. Evidently someone called and failed to leave a msg. I think they're scared of me, but all I've done is express dissatisfaction and I think I should be credited for a month for the awful service + extreme delay.

(I have a unit in the Coal Mountain/Cumming location that is managed out of the Canton, GA office.)…read more Management called me and advised they found my unit unlocked with the lock and key inside. They advised the key had a lanyard/string around it. I was very perplexed by this because we have all keys that were issued to us and never have we had any keys with strings/lanyards around them. I went to the facility and thankfully nothing appeared missing. I called management and advised that my lock they issued must have been recycled because someone must have had a key and unlocked it. I asked if they would replace my lock with a new one. I also asked perhaps they were mistaken and it was a different storage room than mine that they found unlocked. The manager became defensive and said I was accusing her of being dishonest and that it is against their policy to recycle locks. She said she had a picture of my unit when she found it unlocked, and she knows it was mine unlocked. I asked if she could send me the picture and she said she no longer has it. I informed her that I am not accusing anyone of dishonesty, but rather that there must have been some mistake on their end- either they mistakenly identified the unlocked storage facility as mine or they mistakenly used the same lock on our unit so that a previous renter still has a key. The manager said they would not replace my lock and if I wanted to I could go buy another one and ended the call. Wow. I will be moving out of this storage facility. The mistake is on their end and instead of hearing me out, replacing the lock, they told me it was my fault and to deal with it. No thanks. I want a facility that is going to keep my stuff safe and then support me if there are issues.

My review is for the Uhaul Dealership here…read more I rented a smaller uhaul truck from this location and did the after hours pickup/dropoff. It was the first time I had ever scheduled after hours so was worried how the process would go. In my request, I put in for furniture protection cloths. When I arrived, the process was easier than I thought. I dloaded the Uhaul app, and they had 5 lock boxes near the front door. Through the app, it gave me a code for the key and also a photo of where my uhaul was. Everything was all there! The drop-off process took a little longer (had to take like 8 photos) but the convenience and ease of getting/returning Uhaul was much simpler than I expected. The only complaint I have is that the small uhauls don't have a ramp and I "think" the Uhaul we had contained bed bugs. Please thoroughly clean vehicles after each use.
