If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. Incidentally, I know I've left this review before, but it miraculously got deleted.
Back in August of 2017, I had a potentially life-changing appointment with a geneticist. I had to pay for it using $800 in GoFundMe donations. Prior to my appointment, this geneticist asked me to complete a massive, extremely in-depth and complicated packet of medical history and then mail it back to her. I did, but a few days before my appointment, my geneticist said she never got the packet. Without that packet, my entire appointment could've been derailed. Cue panic.
I spent the next few days desperately trying to find this packet. I made an endless stream of futile phone calls for hours on end, and NO ONE could tell me anything at all. I just kept hitting brick wall after brick wall and getting the runaround. And that's if anyone bothered to answer the phone at all! Eventually, the post office at one location told me that the packet was here, at American Mail Plus in Dunwoody.
Not surprisingly, I called. I was polite but firm. The husband of the owner answered, and after some back and fourth, he said he had to get some information from me via email, and that was that. A few minutes later, I called back to verify that he'd done it. Admittedly, I was being pushy, but I was desperate to save the geneticist appointment - the one I'd paid for using donations. The one that was potentially life-changing. But I digress.
The husband told me he hadn't gotten to it yet, and that was understandable. I was still being polite but firm. Eventually, the owner (the wife) got on the phone, and I started explaining everything to her (again, I wasn't being rude). She got some information from me, and relayed some information to me as well. At the end of all of that, I began to verify the accuracy. I said something like, "So to double check, I have 1234 Somewhere Road . . . " etc. I do this for EVERY business call I make. As soon as I started doing this, she flew into a rage, yelled at me, then HUNG UP ON ME and never called back. This is BY FAR the very worst "customer service" (if you can even call it that) that I have ever experienced in my life. And that's coming from someone who always has to explain things multiple times to multiple people, and from someone who has waited on hold literally for hours. All of that pales in comparison to the abysmal "service" I received from this place. The wife was incredibly rude to me for no reason whatsoever, and still didn't bother to help in any way. I hate to think what would have happened if I had actually stepped foot inside the store.
It took WEEKS to complete that packet of paperwork, and I had to scramble to redo it all in a matter of hours. And it nearly sabotaged my appointment, because my geneticist wanted the packet two weeks before my appointment, and I had to deliver it in person just hours before my appointment. Avoid this place like the plague. It would have to be awful to be an improvement. read more
