I was looking for a specialty print job on a Saturday, and came across this business via Google. They handled my request quickly, did a great job, and the price was crazy low. So I have taken several other jobs to them in the past couple of months, including booklet printing, and a job on glossy/cover stock paper. In all cases, the jobs are done quickly, done right, and the charges are minimal. Prices are transparent and available on their website. The prices compare favorably with Staples/Office Depot services, while being faster, more reliable, and more skilled. You can email them for a specific quote, and they respond within a couple hours. I plan to use West End Print Shop more in the future. It seems like a well-run, locally-owned business you can rely on. They make things very simple for me, and that's what I'm looking for! Typically, I have great service with this company, not this time. The morning of Wednesday, July 11, 2018, I sent an email with attachments to be printed. I called and was assured I would have my prints by 5pm the same day. Arrived at 5.15pm, closed due to AC repair. Next morning, Thursday, July 12, 2018, at 8.30am, spoke with the owner, advised him the importance of having my order fulfilled due to obligations. He confirmed receipt of my email and assured me that I would have my order by 5pm the same day. Arrived at 5.15pm, again, closed due to AC repair. No follow-up email, or phone call, stating my order would NOT be completed, even after speaking with the owner the same morning. Called again, this morning, Monday, July 16, 2018...office still closed. A broken AC should NOT disrupt business operations, an air coolant alternative would have been a better solution (fans, portable AC unit, etc.). I needed my prints Friday, July 13th for an art show, I had no prints because of poor business practices of West End Print Shop. This is the only black owned printers in the community and I am saddened and disappointed in not having my order fulfilled. If you're reading this, please reach to me and let me know of a more reliable, professional print business, preferably black owned, in the West End/West View Community. Wow! What a great experience I had at this professionally run neighborhood gem on yesterday! When I walked in, I was instantly awed. Not sure what I was expecting, but this wasn't it. There were lots of customers, in two different lines, beautiful exposed red brick surrounded us, it was nice and cool, there were several working computer stations that could be rented (most in use), and the staff were all busy assisting customers. There was an up to date community bulletin board that showed signs of upkeep and care, the most current Creative Loafing was available, what more could you need. All print shop services were available, except one. They didn't have an industrial sized stapler or very large capacity stapler- they said they had lent it out and someone broke it. Hmmm. Might be time to get another big stapler, right, Team?? Anyway, Rod was WONDERFUL helping me find a solution to an issue that had been plaguing me for awhile, and Erin was as nice as ever. They left me with NO DOUBT that a big print job would be in excellent hands with this print shop. These folks are conscientious, and take pride in their work, as well as in creating a pleasant working atmosphere. Omg. I'm completely appalled at how rude they just were to me. I literally thought the guy was joking. I will never return here and I suggest no one else do either. I love walking into businesses and seeing all black employees and it saddens me when they're just flat out rude. These are the reasons people never want to work with us. I called and inquired about having some documents notarized. Was told the price and the time they closed. I arrived 45 minutes prior to closing and the was told the person who does the notarizing wasn't there; I sat down at one of the computers to wait. I asked the young lady if the person was coming back or gone for the day she stated he will be back. 5 minutes to closing the person had not come back & no one said anything to me or apologize for me having to wait with no service. I'm sure this place provides some type of service to the community but I won't be leaving my community to go here EVER again! read more

This is a conveniently located copy and print shop. They are reasonably priced and they have a notary on site. Big jobs, small jobs, they can do it ALL! Well and professionally. As good as that is, that's not where they shine most. They are, without exception, nice and patient. Many seniors and others come in who need service but don't have the skill to do what they need done or even the knowledge of what they need. I've been coming to this place for years. Prices are more than reasonable and the service is lovely. Even though they have a lot of customers, they always make eye contact to let me know they'll be with me shortly. They also have more patience than me when it comes to dealing with difficult clients. I always want to support small, independent businesses. However, I will not be able to support this one. First, when I called, the phone rang without pickup. Then, the person I finally spoke with about my small black/white copy job was not informed on pricing or how to digitally convey a file. The capper was that although the copies were reasonably priced at 12 cents/side, the colored paper was 50 cents a sheet, rendering my copy job 62 cents a side! A ream of 500 sheets of colored paper at Office Depot is only $9.00 and my copy job of under 50 copies was $30. Never again - Fed Ex Office, here I come, albeit grudgingly. read more

I LOVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT. First off, it's black- owned so they get all my support. Secondly, they are so friendly and attentive inside. I've watched joe they interact and they speak to everyone who comes in and business is handled quickly. You can tell they have "regulars". Me being one of them! Third, it cost 15 cents per minute to use the computer! That's insane and laughable it's so inexpensive. This place has been a lifesaver for me as I do photography and have been going through computer issues lately. They offer a variety of services such a mailing, printing, internet usage, and more. The parking is part of ACE hardwares parking lot which is located direct next door. So there's tons of parking. The only downside is that the computers are slowwww but they never charge you for the few minutes it takes to get online or whatever you're doing. They're so gracious and generous about it because they know the computers are slow. Either way, I'm just happy this place exists and hope they get to stick around!!!!!! read more

I have always gotten great sevice and have been surprised at some of the sevices that they have (like notary public). THey are a one stop shop for many needs. Easy access off highway and right next door to ACE and down the street from CVS and Goodwill. They have no sense of professionalism, and are extremely difficult to work with. I have been inquiring by email for several weeks, and have not gotten a response at all. Last week, I tried to call them. I asked if they had even gotten the email. They did, and all of my emails were still unread. What kind of business doesn't even have the courtesy of opening your emails?! I was told that I would get a response after they reviewed the emails that I had sent. The West End Print Shop next to Ace Hardware, the one inside Kroger, and the one across the street from West End Mall are owned the same man; this man attempted to cheat me. I went in to the location across the street from West End Mall, and found the owner on the phone; when he got off the phone, I asked to print a document from a USB. He sat me down at a computer, and wrote 1:35 on the sheet; the computer said 1:31. Two minutes later, I printed my documents; he tried to charge me a dollar for using the computer for five minutes when I only used it for two. I said that the library, and FedEx would not charge me that much to print my documents, and he said he did not care; I left without my documents, and I would suggest that any one living in West End spend a little more time at the library, or little more money at FedEx instead of using this man. He has a monopoly in West End, and has no scruples about looting. read more
