As a designer it's important to have a local connect, aka a great local printer for quick turnaround projects so that you can curb as many rush fees as possible. I've heard of and researched and driven by Prima plenty of times but have yet to utilize their services until today. To say the least, I was very impressed with their impeccable service and print quality. I had to print some business cards for a client and needed them next day. I easily placed my order and confirmation email. I had a few errors, on my part, and ended up needing to cancel a portion of the order. Needless to say, I had plenty of questions along the way. Danni (sp) was ever so patient and answered every question. I picked up my cards after hours. The transaction was smooth and quick. For the quality and the speed of service this is a no brainer. I'll definitely be back here. On top of that, every time you place an order you accrue rewards points, redeemable for gift cards / credit once you reach a certain amount of points. I ordered booklets for a graduation event this week, and I love how they turned out! Professional and top quality. 5/5 stars for Prima's product. The convenience of ordering online and having the option to pick up also gets 5 stars. This first experience I had with them had a few hiccups, though, that I want to point out. I submitted my order on Monday, and the company called me that evening with questions about my order. I missed the call but was able to talk with someone the next day. Turned out I had ordered the wrong product based on what I wanted. I'm really glad Prima called and got that figured out for me! At the end of the call, the gentleman said he would take the hold off my order and pass it along to production. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. It wasn't until Thursday that I got called again to ask when I'd be able to pick up my programs. They told me the order was on hold and it wouldn't be ready until Friday. I told the fellow on the phone that I needed to pick them up that evening. He checked with production and said that they would be able to have the program's ready by 6:30 that evening. True to their word, Prima had everything ready for me Thursday night, but it was much later than I expected to have my order ready. Also, the gentleman I interacted with in the store, Vance, left me with a negative impression of Prima. There was no greeting or smile. He told me to sign in, got my box of programs for me, and set them in the counter. I asked if I could see the programs now, and he put scissors on the counter for me. That was it. 2 stars on Vance's customer service. Feedback for Prima: we're gone you're welcome. Being told to fill in all the information that will allow someone to help me on a piece of paper felt very sterile. Besides that, keep up the great production work! read more

Even in the midst of some production and shipping issues, I am most definitely giving Prima Atlanta Printer a Five star rating! The final product, overall cost, and customer service that I received were STELLAR. When I received the initial product, I realized that there was some damage that occurred during shipping, and some of my product was missing, so I called Prima right away. The customer service department recommended that I send an image of the damage to Sara (an employee at Prima). Within 5 minutes, Sara had replied with the most apologetic and sincere e-mail I might have ever received! Not only were they STILL able to get me the order before my preferred date, but the product I received was top-notch and exactly what I needed and asked for. This was the first time I have used Prima, and because of my wonderful experience with them, I will most definitely be returning with future printing needs! read more

It's disappointing to see how things have gone down hill lately. Ordered a set of business cards and it came out completely wrong. Scratches on the card, uneven cuts, just not satisfied with how it turned out. I brought the cards back and spoke to Jerel and he asked me if I wanted to do the order over again (thinking that they would do just that...do it over). He walked me through different options and he gave me his contact info so I could send him my final design. I gave him all of the cards back since I was not going to be using them. I emailed him later with my revised design and he asked me how I was going to pay for it. I told him that I thought I would just use the credit for the original order that we were "doing over." Apparently we weren't doing things over. We were starting a new order and he wanted my credit card number. There would be no refund. There would be no credit. Apparently, I was supposed to know that printing the business cards that way would result in all of the scratches I saw. But what about the uneven cuts? Maybe if I was a printing expert, I could have done this myself. Prima. You can keep my money. I will never print with you again! read more

I've printed with them 4/5 times and every single time I've picked up my order I've asked myself the same question, "Why do I keep on coming back here?" I believe because of its geographical location. I've never been fully satisfied with any print order I've received. It's ranged from problems with the quality of the print job to sub par customer service. Even when they've admitted the problems having been on their end, they have done nothing to appease or keep the customer. I rather take my business elsewhere where it is appreciated and valued. Poor customer service. Do not order from these guys! I ordered some business cards online. Uploaded two images and when I received the cards they had the same image printed on both sides. During the ordering process I was not offered an opportunity for a proof, which most companies give me as a matter of the process at no cost. I ordered double-sided flyers from them and clearly on their site it has a button that says, "different design on both sides." Well, I place my order and its the same design on both sides when it was printed. When I questioned them about it, they said that I had to have uploaded the same file. I remember double-checking the upload and I do NOT believe that I uploaded the same file. I DO believe their site was having issues, as it their emails looked jumbled. Now, common sense should tell a person if the image looks exactly the same, and the file is the same but the client has clicked different image on both sides and paid for double-sided and two different images then customer service or production SHOULD notify the client. I spent years working in printing and this is a common sense situation. What is even worse is they first mentioned they would reprint, then went back on their words. Also, waited until after 2pm to contact me back about printing. Not professional at all and more than a few times I have had other clients and colleagues that have said the same thing. People use them because they are cheap and fast, but they gang run, and rush through jobs. A reprint of 100 flyers shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to do but I get it, they have enough customers where they don't feel the need to value a small job. read more

I have used this company in the past to make up flyers for me. They advertise flyers at size 4x6 and when you get them they will be much smaller. I sent them an email asking why this happen and I got no response. I also called them and could not get anyone on the phone. This place is absolutely ridiculous... A poor excuse for a business. We just relocated to Atlanta and were in need of a new print company. We decided to give Prima a try. Our first order was botched. The cuts looked like a 2 year old did them. It definitely wasn't a bleed issue. There was no consistency in the way the flyers were cutoff. Some were more cut off them others, probably 30% weren't usable at all. We showed the bad cuts to them right there and their solution was 15% off...that's all we get for flyers we can't even use. Ironically enough, while we were having our issue someone else was complaining about how bad the cuts were on their order. The girl working the reception desk looked at the flyers and said " they're not that bad they could be worse". At that moment i realized the entire staff was incompetent. Unfortunately, we needed another print job and still hadn't found a company, so we tried to give them another chance. We ordered 24 sets of business cards. We go to pick them up (after receiving confirmation they were ready) and we get there and they can't find the order. Slowly but surely they are finding bits and pieces of the order. And over and hour later they were able to find all except 6 boxes of business cards. They ending up saying they would have to reprint the order. I wasn't waiting another hour and since I'm not in the city I requested they have a courier drop them off at my mail center. The next day after they dropped them off I go pick up the order and these fools had reprinted the wrong business cards. It's late, the place is closed, so I send an email asking they reprint as soon as they open the next day. I called the next day to follow up on my email and after the receptionist finally grasped what I was trying to tell her she told me they will be ready at 1. I get there at 1 and the receptionist (the same one that told the other customer "they could be worse") said they were being cut and would be ready in 30 mins. We leave, come back over an hour later and guess what? Yep still not ready.. This time a guy said they were being cut and would be ready in 30 mins. The same damn thing the receptionist said over an hour ago. In just that one week I had spent almost $600 there, but I surely will not be returning. Customer service is bad, quality of work is bad and the cheap prices aren't worth the incompetency you will have to deal with. read more

Nice place to get flyers and business on the same day and the prices are unbeatable. I learned of Prima when I was looking for someone to print some save the dates. I got 250 for $45. Okay so I only needed like 100 of those. I'll figure out what to do with the rest of them later lol I gave 4 stars only because of the mix up I received when placing another order. I wmet in to look at the diffrent paper qualities and colors on a Monday and was told that my proofs would be ready in 2 days at noon and that I would receive a call for pickup. Noone called me to let me know that they wouldn't be ready. I called them and was told that they would be by the end of the day and that I would receive a call. I didnt. On Thursday I placed a call at lunch time and was told the same thing. I received a call at 5pm and crossed my fingers for enough time to sit through traffic and get there before they closed at 7. I got there right on time and my proofs were cut to so I had to wait and also wait until my quote was drafted which shouldve been ready when I place the order for the proofs but whatever. I sat and waited patiently to be told that the paper that I chose were stocked at a limited supply and was being discontinued. Great. Aaaand my quote was ridiculous! Why did I chose the most expensive paper in stock? Sounds like this will be a diy project afterall. Sigh. Jaclyn was really helpful. She helped me chose another style of paper that still had a good quality for invitations and was patient with ME when I wanted to do a little tweaking. Anyway, this store was extremely busier than the last time I went in. I overheard Jaclyn say that they had 48 emails that they didn't get around to responding to for the day and it was already 630. They need some help fast! I hope they get everything in order because printing jobs are always time sensitive for customers and their projects or events. All in all, I would still reccommend this place for printing services. They print door signs, bookmarks, tickets, banners, life size cut outs, any size poster you could think of and they do graphic designs if you need that too. read more

I needed a small batch (250) of business cards done for an event happening this weekend/early next week. I discovered Prima doing a Google search. I loved their inexpensive prices and extremely fast turnaround. I should have known that it was too good to be true. Part of my design had two graphic elements that were flush against the top and bottom cut line of the card. I downloaded Prima's Illustrator template for business cards to make sure my design fit their specs. I placed my order on Friday morning and they were done that afternoon which was great. When I picked the order up this morning (Saturday) and reviewed the card, Prima reduced the size of my design by an 1/8" so that the graphic elements that were designed to be flush against the cut line now were off the cut line by 1/16" all around. This made my card look weird (specifically, those two design elements that were now off the cut line). After examining the card, I told the customer service person at the front desk of the problem. He pulled up my design from their files and acknowledged that he sees what I mean. Then he told me that their guidelines notes that there's a tolerant of 1/8" for business cards and that's this is on their web site (which, I still cannot find on their site). I asked him why this tolerance wasn't incorporate within their Illustrator template. He did not respond to that. He said that I should have explicitly stated in the comment section of my order that the two design elements should be flush against the cut line (even though it was designed explicitly that way). He offer to do my job over again.....at 15% off (which I thought was laughable). I left after that. The cards ordered are only temporary business cards that I had done to hold me over until I had a chance to order the ones I really want (16 pt Spot UV) that takes a lot longer to print from another company (Mindzai) that I usually get my cards from. That's why I didn't make a big stink about this at Prima. But I won't be using them again for any work when they don't stand behind the quality of their product. Do not trust your product info with this company! They will STEAL your stuff! I had some calendars done and not only did it take them a month and a half to get the order done but when they did they were printed wrong. They said they would print me up a new correct batch. I hadn't even released the calendars yet and someone from there had given my calendars to someone to sell. They were selling my calendars on Instagram and I hadnt even released them yet! I've never experienced this level of unprofessionalism in my life. Just dirty! I was told that my calendars were put in the trash bin behind the building so unfortunately that's how it got in the hands of the wrong people. Use another service that Price Matches and local. This company is horrible. It sounds very good for price sensitive customers. But what if they make a mistake. Their margin for error is so low that you won't get a refund. You also could get charged double like I did and rack up large overdraft fees. Please beware. Things can go wrong in printing, but the customer is always wrong unless u dealing with a large vendor. I lost 500$ dealing with Prima. 250$ in overdraft fees and 250$ charged twiced. I work for a television production company and last minute we needed a lot of flyers to be handed out for the show. We went in first thing in the morning and put in the work order and had it rushed. They promised him that it would be done by noon... That was far from what happened. I waited there for the prints to be done since we needed them that same day. 12:15 rolled around and still nothing. I asked them what was up and they said that it would be finished in a couple minutes. I thought, cool, they did our last minute order semi-on time. 12:30 rolled around and I went up to ask them again if my order was almost done. They said that they had problems with the press (printing) machine and had to move to another machine so it should be done in a bit. I was already running late with the flyers since we needed them by at the latest 1. I asked them if I could just get the first couple ones that came off the press and that were ready so I can at least deliver them to where they needed to be and just come back for the others. They said no problem. Finally it's 1 o'clock and still nothing. I asked them AGAIN if my request was almost finished and they said some woman came out saying that "they JUST started the request due to issues with the machine". This was THREE times these people lied to me about the request we put in. When I reminded them again I just wanted 50 (I had dropped the number down from 100 because at this point I was so behind it wasn't even funny) and they said "oh, yeah. the moment they get cut and done for you you'll have them." FINALLY by 1:30 I got my flyers and they ended up giving me all of them. So ultimately I was late because of technical issues and they couldn't follow simple instructions and just give me the first few off the line. One of the women offered to return the rush fee which is $25 dollars (we paid in cash) and she never gave it to me, even when I was running late. I ended up just leaving this business without my refund even though the job was completed a whole 90 minutes after the promised end time. I would never recommend this company even to my worst enemy! And I don't even care about the refund because it was so bad I think that deserves a "tip" as I will call it. Maybe if we had more time to have them prepare for this order since it was so last minute, but still, if you promise an end time you should meet that promise AND you definitely shouldn't lie to your customers about the work order being "almost done" when really it's not. Horrible, horrible experience. Ruined most of my day. read more

After talking to a rep about what I needed done (circular sticers) he instructed me w/ what to order. I get an email some days later saying my order is on hold b/c in order for me to do the circular stickers it's gonna cost WAY more than what the rep quoted me (truly a ridiculous price compared to what other companies charge for die cut stickers). I cancel my order and ask for a refund. It has been over 10 days, I have placed my sticker order w/ another company and received the stickers, but still no sign of a refund from Prima.
