I came to this UPS Store on Peachtree St in Midtown because the one I normally go to, on 10th St near Georgia Tech (Tech Plaza), was closed. This was on a Saturday after 2pm. The Tech Plaza location closes at 2pm on Saturday, but this location stays open until 5:30pm on Saturday. Conversely, this location is closed on Sunday, but the Tech Plaza location is open on Sunday, 9am-2pm. Hours are subject to change. I visited this UPS Store around 3:24pm and it was busy. I saw only two employees assisting customers at the counter. The line was at least six deep ahead of me. There may have been another employee I didn't see. One of the employees noticed the long line. She told all of us that there were self-serve kiosks available for returns/drop-offs. Perfect. I went to one of the kiosks. I believe there were two. I had a package of Nespresso capsules to ship for recycling. The package was sealed with a prepaid UPS shipping label. All I had to do was follow the instructions/prompts on the touchscreen and grab my receipt. It was fast and easy. This UPS Store is located on street level of the Metropolis high-rise condominium building. The store validates parking in the Metropolis garage. I called this store beforehand to confirm the parking situation and the guy who answered was polite and helpful. Enter the garage on the back side of the building via Metropolis Alley. Take your parking ticket with you into the store for validation. Before we left, I stopped by Sweet Hut Bakery & Cafe (three doors down, same building) where my wife was and I got our parking validated there instead. read more

Cleaned out some filing cabinet and came into the store to drop papers off for shredding. Was told that the shredding would cost $65 with a discount. Since when did places start with shredding? Definitely going to reach out to corporate office about this. Also, when associate was sitting on a counter and none of the staff were acting professionally. read more

Service was OK; but then there was no one else in the store. On December 10, 2025, I sent a package and although the girl who helped me was not exactly rude, she wasn't really pleasant either. I rarely provide reviews but this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced . When I walked in I asked to get a passport picture. The guy behind the counter seemed like he could not be bothered. He told me to stand over there, but I didn't know where over there was. He just sort of pointed and then went back in the back to see if the camera had batteries. He told me three times to stand over there and I had no idea where he was pointing. Next, the price of mailing the passport cost $44 to get it there by Tuesday and I was in the UPS store on Saturday. To get it there on Wednesday was just under $17. What a complete rip off. I will never use this UPS location again even though they're a block and a half away from where I live. Not worth bad customer service and ridiculous prices. read more

SHipped via USPS from your store on January 5th , this package has significant implications to me. USPS reports it was never handed off- though it reports ticket being printed it, although I did pay for it on store - all with proof. Clearly it is a failure in the store that i expect you to address. I was working in Atlanta for about 2 weeks and needed to ship time sensitive materials everyday. The staff at this location were nothing short of awesome. I was greeted and served by a Ms. Amethyst most days and by the second day their she knew exactly what I needed and how it was to be packed and shipped. She deserves a raise or a managerial spot if not already in such a position. I bought an item from Ahlers & Olgetree Auctions two weeks ago. I do this from various sites regularly and have expectations. But this UPS store decided to rip me off and not contact me for OK. The quote they made via email was $145 to pack and ship but just got the bill at $199. This is just wrong and it makes me not want to work with the auction house if they cannot offer a decent shipping option and for this UPS to take advantage of the health crisis going on right now, not contact me and just get rid of the package at my cost is just wrong. As a mailbox holder, i can say i found out about the increase when i came into renew with no phone call or email notice. And their price before was already over other UPS stores despite the owner saying "there has not been a price increase for many years" as an excuse. It's nice that they are extending the hours on the weekend. I can say that they aren't lying about the doubled staff. There were 4 people there the other weekend, all incredibly unhelpful and the line was longer than when there used to only be 2 people working there. Maybe they should concentrate on quality, not quantity. read more

Just plane rude and unhelpful. Sassy girl at the counter wanted to serve me attitude because I selected the wrong envelope. Then just turned her back on me after the transaction was done, dropped the receipt and paper. It was completely unsolicited. I never approached the counter with an attitude. I was quite friendly and vocalized my request to ship a small item. 'what is it?' Then 'You need to select an envelope at the far end of the store if you're going to ship that' 'You selected the wrong envelope. I said it could NOT be an envelope from the upper shelf' At the conclusion, she just dropped the receipt and paper and left. I would have liked to know where to find a tracking number. Another young lady helped. If you hate your job, go find another one. Don't take it out on customers. It's not my fault. read more

Pretty impressive, really. I stopped in to make some color copies for the Ain't Nothin but a Yelp Thang flyers (ps, you coming? Total shill alert! http://www.bit.ly/yelpthang) and the two fine folks working here were super helpful. Turns out my graphic wasn't exactly the right size I wanted, and the guy walked me through my options to make it work. After I thought through things, he was nice enough to open the graphic up on his computer and add a black border to make things look right. He printed out a sample, we both okay'ed it, and just 2 hours later I had 500 copies. I should also note that this place was a hell of a lot cheaper than the FedEx/Kinkos I've used before. They were apparently having some issues with their credit card machine and it seemed to take an inordinately long time to get out of there, but the folks were mighty friendly and I'm sure I'll be back. read more

Incredibly rude. They've lost a package I've mailed and UPS was not at all helpful even though they had scanned it in and knew it was in their possession. Lost another Amazon return. On a separate occasion, I walked in with a return a minute before closing and was stared at for about 5 seconds until one girl says "we're closed." The other girl looked like she was willing to help me but then made eye contact with the other one who said "huh uh" and shook her head. No excuse for why they couldn't spare 5 seconds to scan a QR code. Would never pay to ship anything here and honestly might go elsewhere to return packages, even though they're a block away. read more

I live right by this store, and typically the only reason I go there is to drop off packages where the company is paying for return shipping. So now that you understand why I go in there so much even though I hate it every time, let me elaborate on their terrible customer service. One time I went in there and there was nobody in the store except me, the male employee, and another woman (a customer or friend, couldn't tell). The employee clearly knew I was standing there with a package, yet he continued to gossip with this other woman for literally 6 minutes. While I'm standing there. Waiting. They were having the most inane conversation, nothing to do with business. Another time I went in there and got the snottiest attitude from a female employee. She acted like I should be an expert in shipping, and gave me condescending little tidbits of info like "everyone knows that." Hello, I'm just here to ship a package real quick, spare me. Today I rushed over to mail a package by 6:30pm (after looking up their hours on the UPS website to confirm). I got to the store at 6:24pm and the same guy who has ignored me in the past pretended he didn't even see me standing at the door. Everything inside was locked up, with that gate around the register closed and sealed. Clearly he had closed the store by about 6:15pm. After he moved farther back in the store, he looked at me and I give him the "huh?" look and he mouths real big "WE'RE CLOSED." I then point to my watch and he just walks away. Maybe if this was a bar or a tiny business that decided to go home early, I'd be like "Sure, no big deal." But this is UPS. Punctuality and on-time and things like that are supposed to be part of their business. If anything, I'd think they'd be open til 6:37pm. Anyway, rude employees, unprofessional store, and overpriced services. I wish they'd leave so I'd be forced to walk another half mile to USPS. read more

I ship expensive, fragile items often. For eons I used the US Postal Service. I know, I know... The waits and customer service at a post office are both equally atrocious. But I was assured that in the case of something breaking in shipment, it would be much easier to collect insurance from the postal service. I just don't care anymore. After the waits, unfriendliness, and up-charges in shipping prices for "over-sized" boxes which weren't over-sized, I've made the switch. I can walk in and out of this location, on average in under 5 minutes. In addition to the quickness, the people there are friendly and competent. UPS also gives free tracking and delivery confirmation by email and they store your information on file so you don't have to keep repeat anything on return visits. Oh and the pricing - When shipping parcels, UPS 9/10 times is actually cheaper than USPS. The Postal Service must make some changes immediately otherwise they will find themselves in a similar position to the US car manufacturers. I don't know how this store stacks up to other UPS stores, but compared to a US Post Office, it's a 10 star experience. read more

I have no idea how this place is even open. I guess people will pay top dollar for a notary or something? Not only is this store just as much of a time suck as the post office, but it's WAY more expensive for the same service. Literally, the same service-- today I went to send a package USPS media mail from the UPS store. They would have charged me almost $7. At the actual post office? About $2.50. I mean, I get that the store is marking things up, but a 250% markup? No-- double no, actually, given that the post office is an 8 minute WALK away (and requires fewer parking gymnastics if you're driving). A few years ago I looked into getting a PO Box here, and the price was over double the cost of a PO Box at the post office; plus, reading other reviews, it appears the store is crap at actually getting your mail into your PO Box anyhow. Also, the people working at the counter never have a clue. They spend ages clicking away on the computer, trying to sort out a price. The postal system in the US might be screwed, but damn-- they're still a thousand times better than these places. I still go occasionally when my company needs to me to mail something that's pre-paid, but would never waste my own time and money with them. read more

You will literally experience time s. l. o. w. d. o. w. n. here. Not that that's a bad thing, but it's just impressive in its slow time finesse. For instance, they actually fool with change when charging for copies. Let's assume the young gentlemen makes a $22.00 / hour based on productivity standards in non-food related wages. Such time spent in/around change would theoretically cost the company more money in the long run, no? Wouldn't marketing and advertising strategy be better spent used in 'perking the public,' as in a neighborhood tree-free paper copying campaign. This is an awful store with terrible customer service. I attempted to send a package to a friend who was traveling in Europe and needed this package ASAP. The UPS store failed to apprise me of issues that could impact delivery (such as clearing customs) and failed to deliver my package on time. When I saw that there was no way my package would reach its destination on time I requested a refund; they never submitted that request and they lied to me about it. Had they not guaranteed the delivery date, I would have pursued a different shipping alternative. But they did and now I'm out hundreds of dollars. read more

They actually made me feel unsafe! I just paid premium to have something delivered by a specific time. The store didn't ship it until the day it was supposed to be delivered and then said UPS customer service was was lying. When I said I was coming in to sort out my refund the store clerk yelled at me on the phone and said that I was not allowed back in their store. I asked him to lower his voice and speak to me calmly. He said "LET ME TELL YOU WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO." I again responded to please not speak to me like that and let's resolve the situation, but that I expected a refund. After the way I was spoken to I am literally afraid to return to the store to get them to resolve it. I've never been spoken to in such an aggressive manner. My package was late to its destination (not the fault of the branch) and she took the initiative to fill out a sheet and get me my money back on the delivery. I had to make double sided copies and the guy who helped me miscalculated the cost... I get it mistakes happen. However, it should not have taken me several minutes & several tries to explain to them their mistake. Finally they got it & corrected the amount. I had in fact been charged DOUBLE the correct amount!!!! Plus the owner/ manager had been sitting back the whole time not once offering help. I will NEVER be back!!!! read more

Shocked to see the reviews for this place. I use this store quite often and have only had great experiences. The guys that work here are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. It is a busy store, so at times there can be a line, but they do their best to move it along. Convenient place for copies, printing, passport photos, shipping... truly a one stop shop. They will validate parking in the metropolis deck, so don't forget to bring your ticket. read more

Unlike the first review I think these people are the very best!!!! People always get mad when they can't have everything as they want it no matter what. Customer service with people like Joey are always a problem..Joey go somewhere else and make other people unhappy. There are reasons for everything and running a business especially a franchise isn't easy.
