Imagine my surprise when I realized I had been driving all the way into the city for a full-service hand wash when there was one less than 10 minutes from my house the entire time! If you're visiting for the first time, just know that while it's an emissions station in the front, the car wash services are located around back. That's where you'll find the pricing and service options. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish. I opted for the full interior and exterior detail, which included vacuuming and all the finishing touches. It came to $55, and honestly, my car was long overdue for some TLC, so it was money well spent. The process was simple and efficient. I left my keys in the car, handed over my ticket, paid inside, and waited for everything to be finished. The gentleman working the register was very welcoming and invited me to relax inside while they worked on my car, which I really appreciated. When they were finished, my car looked fantastic. They paid attention to the little details and cleaned areas that are usually difficult to get spotless on your own. While $55 may seem a little expensive at first glance, the quality of the work absolutely justified the price. I'm so happy I discovered this place. Finding a quality hand car wash this close to home feels like finding a hidden gem, and I'll definitely be back the next time my car needs a little extra love. read more

Quick & easy both times I've been here now. The employees were really friendly. The first time I went, I took my car in too soon after getting work done. The employee working at the time was really nice, talked through the work I had done, and based on that, recommended how many miles I should drive my car to get it ready for emissions. The price was definitely fair, and I really appreciated their extended hours (compared to other places) which made it easier for me to get my emissions done. Extremely rude, confrontational employee for no reason at all. I've been going here for 2 years, I own 8 cars. Work with numerous local shops on this road who are amazing but I will NEVER be back to this place. I've been so appalled by an employee in my life. Absolutely abhorrent behavior from a minimum wage employee. Stated numerous times they don't need business, while cursing and name calling. Lied about being the owner to try cover up what he had done when asked for management. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE. I went down the road to BP and as well as take 5 for emissions. Rented a U-haul trailer here. Their tiny corner lot is very crowded and it's a little tricky to pull in while they are also doing emissions and car washes. They may even service cars? Not sure. Anyways, the place they store the trailers is in an unsecured lot a few blocks away. When returning the trailer I wasn't sure if I should go to the lot or their business, so I went to the lot. They don't answer their phone and the voicemail is full (two days in a row and 4 separate calls). I dropped off the trailer and then drove to the business location and the guy said he didn't have time to run to the lot right now and to verify the trailer drop off. Hmmm.... I did take pictures of the trailer when I dropped it off and the guy was cool with just seeing the pictures of the trailer. So it's a little sketchy, but I'm hoping I don't have issues. read more

I had a 10' truck pickup for 7AM via mobile. I called there twice during the week to double check they would have my size. Both times they were nice and reassured they had my size available. I got there to pick up the truck, which was an hour before they opened, and a nice guy named Justin(I think) immediately greeted me and offered to check me in inside. This place does emissions, rents u-hauls, sells drinks, car air fresheners and Hallmark cards. We rented a U-Haul van to move some furniture. The employees are friendly and pay a lot of attention to the things you'd expect - are there dents or scratches on the van that aren't noted with a sticker? What is the mileage at? What's the gas gauge at? Are your mirrors okay? There's little to no parking in the actual lot, but you park across Hammond in a lot for another business (they tell you) and you're all good. Just be careful crossing the road because people around here are kind of re-re's. read more

This place is awesome. Took us maybe a total of 10 mins to get the emission done. No one was in front of us, so we just waited 30 seconds to get someone. I'll admit this place is pretty small. I can only imagine if there are several cars are waiting ... the wait will be longer. We came at an off time during the weekend, so that may be why we were helped immediately. I think we had a guy named Robert. Straight shooter. Asked for license, info of car, etc. Asked us how our day was coming along. Polite guy. On Saturday January 15 at around 6:32p, I suddenly remembered that I had completely forgotten to get my emissions test completed in order to renew my registration by midnight. I frantically looked online and the only shop still open was this location in Sandy Springs with a listed closing time of 7p. I tried calling the number and although there was no person to answer and speak with (slightly annoying), the recorded message did provide a number to text for immediate assistance. I texted the number and told them that I needed an emissions completed today because it was my deadline. I received an immediate response confirming that they were open. I responded back stating their location was 30 minute drive from where I was and I would not arrive until a few minutes after 7:00p. I received a response back that it was okay and I jumped in my car. I mistakenly put in the incorrect street number in my GPS and went to a location about a mile down the street from their shop. I texted the number again and informed them I thought I was at the wrong place and I received a response immediately confirming their address. I arrived at their location at 7:12p to find the shop closed, the lights off, and Mr. Robert Eaves standing beside the emissions inspection machine welcoming me. He was incredibly friendly, didn't say a word about having to stay late and wait on me and performed my emissions quickly and efficiently. To top it off, he was very helpful in pointing out a potential issue with my gas cap. I was out of there within 12 minutes. I did not know that customer service like this still existed and I cannot understate the immense blessing it was to receive it on Saturday. My favorite part about this place is that it's open til 7 PM (most places close at 6 PM), so I can make it after work without worrying. I have been coming to EZMissions since I moved to Atlanta 6 years ago. All 4 of our cars get their yearly emissions test at this place because EZMISSIONS is fast, efficient, affordable and friendly. I have had the pleasure of meeting several sweet and informative people who have worked there over the years. Until today. The woman doing emissions was so rude to me from the moment I pulled in. She refused to answer my question directly or even make eye contact and spoke down to me patronizingly and repeatedly while raising her voice with every condescending repeat. I couldn't believe it. I did nothing to warrant that level of treatment. As a matter of fact I am too often overly nice to strangers (maybe this made her want to bully me?) I totally get that everyone has a bad day but this wasn't just standoffish or unfriendly behavior it was downright aggressive, rude and off putting. I have never been treated so poorly right off the bat at an establishment to whom I give my hard earned money. Never again. I decided to leave and find a new Emissions place. "Smog Patrol. Had your emissions checked?" -- Fletch (1985) You would never know this place did emissions, and it is in their name! Why, because there is no sign anywhere! Crazy, right? There is a small Clean-Air Force sign on Hilderbrand, but you would never see it from the main drag of Roswell Road. On this particular day, I only realized what they did because the guy had paid a young lady to toss a sign around and I happened to be driving past and happened to need my emissions done. So I did a circle around the block and pulled in (where the signs told me to). They have arrows pointing you where to go for emissions - one problem...it takes you around back of the building and the path was blacked by U-Haul trucks!! (Did I mention they rent U-Hauls too...No? That's because there isn't really a sign for that either). So look - super friendly guy, the emissions was done pretty quickly and efficiently, but he was distracted. He said that since it was my birthday, and I had to wait why they moved trucks (I was trapped behind the building), he was going to grab me a complimentary bottle of water while my test was running. How nice - happy birthday to me. This place is SO cluttered with trucks, and cars and lord knows what - I don't know how the guy stays in business - and without proper signage?! Seriously. But I got what I came for and was in and out of there pretty fast (10 minutes tops). However, I never did get that bottle of water. this place was weird. first they messed up my reservation but fixed it thankfully, I then was returning the truck and had a question about something so I went inside and the guy at the counter yelled at me that they were closed so I ask where to put the keys and he just yells "in the box" and as I'm walking out commented about how it don't look open... Had some extra time today so went ahead and got my emissions done early for once. Really friendly staff, courtesy bottled water, and a nice patio to sit on while you wait. The whole thing only took a few minutes. As far as emissions testing goes, it's a perfectly nice experience. You'd never know the name of this place... there's no sign that I can find anywhere. I finally figured it out because they have a certificate of appreciation from a local elementary school that thanks EZ Emissions. This is the website name on the door, but they've got so many business operating out of this little corner - emissions, a hand car wash, and U Haul rental - that it's hard to tell what the actual primary business is. Got my emissions checked this morning for $25. I stopped here because it was a rainy, chilly morning, and it looked like the kind of place where you didn't have to get out of the car. It turns out that I did have to get out of the car. Oh well. The process was relatively quick, and the guy running the test was quite friendly. When it was over, I had to go inside the small office/store front to pay. They've got coolers full of drinks inside, and some small car items, like air fresheners. It's been easier and faster at other places in the past, so I probably won't be back, but it's not like it was an awful experience. The car wash hours are far more abbreviated than the emissions hours, only 9-4 most days. Since someone is there for the emissions between 8-6 on weekdays, I imagine they'd be able to process your U-Haul rental paperwork. #Yelp365 - 364/365 read more

After letting the guys at the counter know I needed a smog test they asked me to pull my car around. While we talked about different car types my testing was completed in minutes.
