This place is so convenient, reasonably priced (automatic, deep clean, with wax for $20... w/ceramic coating $25), and the attendants are very helpful in guiding your treatment and through the car wash. My car got a great clean, with only a few remaining small spots that I wanted more scrubbing on. It's so shiny!! And... at the end, you have free access to vaccuums and microfiber cloth with cleaner. There are also options for monthly memberships that are cheaper than buying two washes/month that I'm thinking about! Great experience. read more

*Note: This TOP Express Car Wash location is operated almost exactly like its sister location on Peachtree Industrial, so much of this review is the same as the one I wrote for the other location.* I love TOP Express Car Wash because it's employee monitored and well maintained! The employees are quick and efficient, and will assist customers (especially the first timers) who are confused at the payment kiosk because they don't know what to do or expect. The entrance to this TOP Express Car Wash location is right off of Clairmont, across the street from the gas station. Customers first drive through the entry driveway that leads to the payment kiosks. All first timers and customers getting single washes must stop at the station to pay after selecting one of the four levels of car washes, from the Basic Wash to the Tip Top Wash, each having a different price point. To add on even more decision making for customers, each person has to choose whether they want to buy a single wash or purchase a monthly plan. The monthly plan allows customers to wash their car one time per day. Of course, the monthly plans cost more than a similar level of car wash. However, if the customer plans to wash their car at least twice a month, the monthly plan would be less expensive than paying for only single car washes. Customers who buy monthly car wash plans pass through the payment gate quicker because the multiple cameras not only detect your car plate and verify in the system their monthly plan is valid, but it also automatically programs the car wash system for the car wash level. Simply, customers with a monthly plan drives up to the station, the gate/arm goes up, and the customer drives to the automated car wash. An employee is always at the entrance to the car wash tunnel, indicating to customers which way to steer to get the front tire aligned with the automated track that moves the car through the tunnel, and pre-wets the vehicle with a hose. Customers must disengage the brake and put the vehicle in neutral. Each phase of the car wash tunnel that the customer paid for based on the car wash level will start its operation, and this will continue all the way through the tunnel until the customer receives a green light at the very end of the tunnel, indicating that it's safe to drive forward. Customers should be aware that spinning brushes (I'm not sure what they're made of) are used here. We've come to this TOP Express location twice so far, and haven't seen any scratches on the car. Customers can drive to the drying/vacuuming stations and park until they're done hand wiping their own car, and or vacuuming it. A vacuum hose is on each side of the car, and these are industrial strength. Make sure to keep away all pets, kids, clothing, money, and anything else you don't want quickly disappearing into the vacuum void. In black plastic bins attached high off the ground are clean, damp, dark colored towels that customers can use to wipe down their vehicles. If the bin closest to your wiping station is out of towels, let one of the employees know so it can be replenished, or go to another black bin that has towels still stocked. Customers put their used towels into a separate red plastic (looks like a) trash can with a hole cut out in the middle of the lid. There is also a mat cleaner. After I used it, it didn't look like it made a difference because it didn't come out any cleaner than when I had used the vacuum on it. In the wiping/vacuuming areas are spray bottles that customers can use to clean their windows and hard plastic interior parts. Customers can stay as long as it takes for them to vacuum and wipe down their cars. I haven't seen any employees tell anyone to leave. If you don't like to physically wash your car but don't mind doing the wiping down and vacuuming afterward, this is the place to go! read more

I was roped into the 30 day deal not knowing it would renew forever. Went in today and found I had 2 accounts that were charging me every month with the same tag number for the past year. I lost $750 dollars. They refunded me only $ 70 for each account. Every time I purchased the washes an attendant took my card and did the transaction. I was never shown the transaction details. Best car wash in Atlanta. A bit of an expert by trial and error. This one is reasonably priced and conveniently located. Soft turn into the entrance where 1-2 employees pressure wash and scrub the car before entering. Then a high quality automated car wash take over. Finally, the vacuums always suck hard with 2 available nozzle shapes. There are always clean towels and towel returns nearby. Trash cans very rarely are full to the top. Other customers tend to be kind and courteous. Wife and I are both member repeat customers and will remain so until something changes. Top Express car wash is great for a quick attended automated car wash. Their no frills wash gets you a decent wash for around $10. Top Express has a no time limit vacuum and wipe down area where you can do your own mini detail if you'd like. They have options for unlimited car washes for a small monthly fee. I would not recommend these express carwashes owned and operated by TOP Express Car Wash and managed by Thomas Levens. My car was damaged here due to equipment failure. After several communications and an agreement to file a claim to have the damage repaired I have not been able to get response from Thomas. A reasonable customer does not expect for the on site equipment to damage their vehicle but things happen. I have been nothing but gracious and polite. However, the lack of integrity on the part of Thomas Levens and Top Express is appalling. If you work hard for your car, then go here at your own risk. read more

Do not enter while closed! if you pull into the driveway while they're closed, you'll be met with two signs half of the driveway making it almost impossible to turn around. I don't know if it's just laziness, but they can't take the signs to the end of the driveway to prevent you from being in the situation, however it's a great car wash. Use it all the time. read more

Horrible experience. I purchased the unlimited wash package and the first time I used it will be the last time. Went there on a Sunday afternoon and it was beyond packed with a line out to the street. The genius who was the on duty manager is having cars in line back up so they can re-wash another car that complained. They offered no explanation as to why they were making everyone back up and when I asked him and he explained he then called me an asshole. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Worst car wash I have EVER been to. Laziest employees ever and the prices are a rip off. They don't even brush your car before running it through the wash. The employee literally just sprayed soapy water on the windshield for 5 second and ran the car through. Car was still dirty when it came out. I brought it to the attention of one of the employees and he just shrugged his shoulders and said "oh well". If you don't buy an advanced wash they won't even brush your car before running it through. The prices are a complete RIP OFF. Most wash options exceed $30+. 10 minute time limit on vacuums. This is my first time at Top Express (Clairmont Rd. Chamblee, GA) and I was happy with everything from the employees attentiveness, to the amount of suds and water used on the car as it passes through the watch. It was also a pleasure using the vacuum station, which was equipped with everything for ones convenience. There was even a compressed air hose to blow dust out of the nooks and crannies of my vehicle. I am so impressed, I am considering doing a monthly membership on my next visit.
