Needed a quick car wash. The touch screen for payment was very finicky and you really have to press on it. The staff was friendly but the vacuum area was not kept clean at all. We visited this place in the afternoon for a quick carwash. This place is on Chamblee Dunwoody Road and close to exit 31 A. Although the place was busy, we quickly got space for a car wash. The guy at the entrance was helpful and explained the differences between different washes. Although the basic wash is a little costlier than other places, we liked that they had some people manually put car soap before it went through the automated wash. Also, the place has many self-vacuum cleaning spots, which is helpful, especially on busy days. They also have cleaning fluids and damp clothes to help with cleaning the car. If you are a car enthusiast and live close by, I would suggest taking their monthly plan and saving a lot of money even when you visit every weekend. Definitely recommended read more

I have a membership at this car wash and go probably 3 to 4 times a month. I would say about one out of every five trips. They are just closed for some random reason. I will say everyone that works there is super nice and it is a good quality car wash, especially for membership price. There are two main things I wish they would do and I would give them five stars (in addition to being open during the hours they say they're open): 1) if you're going to be closed during your regular business hours, don't put the cones so deep inside the entrance lane that you can't see them until after you've turned in. This happens to me every single time and then I have to turn into Austin powers to try to get out of the stupid car wash entrance. Just put the cones at the street entrance so you can see them clearly and not in the actual car wash lanes 40 feet inside the entrance that makes no sense... 2) I really wish there was a members only lane. There are two lanes so one of them could be members or single time users and the other could be dedicated for members only. So many times I get in line and have a wait for two or three cars to spend 15 minutes picking out what type of car wash they want and figuring out how to pay for it. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does, it takes twice as long to go through the car wash. If there is a members only way we could all just cruise through because we don't have to do any interactions. read more

The people that are supposed to wipe down your car through the initial entrance, made no effort for both my wife's vehicle and my truck Employee flipped out at me because he assumed I was a regular and knew what I was supposed to the provided no instructions whatsoever hit my windshield swore at me upon getting at the end of the car wash to and vacuum my vehicle out. I asked another employee to speak with a manager who is not on the employee about what happened with the first employee at the front of the car then tried to excuse that behavior got verbally aggressive with me while my three-year-old daughter was in my started swearing at me and then told me to get the fuck out and then the other employee that and hit my in the beginning, came up and continued to swear at me and told me to get the fuck out I didn't get to finish what I paid for and both of the employees here were incredibly disrespectful. I'd been delaying bathing my car since nearly all the car washes in this city seem to be done by hand. Why??? Give me an inexpensive human-free drive-thru one, please! So I simply had to visit the relatively new TOP Express Car Wash with its terrific Yelp reviews. I think Google Maps was trying to tell me to cut through CVS, but don't do that because I'm pretty sure you physically can't. Anyway, you pay at one of two touchscreens after entering from Peachtree Industrial. An attendant was available in case anyone needed help. I went for the cheapest choice which was $10; you can go to the company's website to review options beforehand. A sunny Saturday afternoon is probably not the best time to go since it was very busy. I considered myself quite lucky to have scored a spot in the self-serve cleaning area; there was a wait when I left. I was confused since the towels were already damp and thought they had been used, though you are supposed to toss old towels in the red garbage bins. Luckily, reading Addy C.'s' review later reassured me that using them was correct. The dispenser closest to my car was empty but the next one over was stocked. Vacuums were functional and powerful. I saw one of those floor mat cleaner machines by the building but didn't try it out. I love TOP Express Car Wash because it's employee monitored! The employees are quick and efficient, and will assist customers (especially the first timers) who are confused at the payment kiosk because they don't know what to do or expect. Customers first drive through the entry driveway that leads to the payment kiosks. All first timers and customers getting single washes must stop at the station to pay after selecting one of the four levels of car washes, from the Basic Wash to the Tip Top Wash, each having a different price point. To add on even more decision making for customers, each person has to choose whether they want to buy a single wash or purchase a monthly plan. The monthly plan allows customers to wash their car one time per day. Of course, the monthly plans cost more than a similar level of car wash. However, if the customer plans to wash their car at least twice a month, the monthly plan would be less expensive than paying for only single car washes. Customers who buy monthly car wash plans pass through the payment gate quicker because the multiple cameras not only detect your car plate and verify in the system their monthly plan is valid, but it also automatically programs the car wash system for the car wash level. Simply, customers with a monthly plan drives up to the station, the gate/arm goes up, and the customer drives to the automated car wash. An employee is always at the entrance to the car wash tunnel, indicating to customers which way to steer to get the front tire aligned with the automated track that moves the car through the tunnel, and pre-wets the vehicle with a hose. Customers must disengage the brake and put the vehicle in neutral. Each phase of the car wash tunnel that the customer paid for based on the car wash level will start its operation, and this will continue all the way through the tunnel until the customer receives a green light at the very end of the tunnel, indicating that it's safe to drive forward. Customers should be aware that spinning brushes (I'm not sure what they're made of) are used here. We've come to TOP Express at least 6 times so far, and haven't seen any scratches on the car. Customers can drive to the drying/vacuuming stations and park until they're done hand wiping their own car, and or vacuuming it. A vacuum hose is on each side of the car, and these are industrial strength. Make sure to keep all pets, kids, clothing, money, and anything else you don't want quickly disappearing into the vacuum void. In black plastic bins attached high off the ground are clean dark towels that are damp that customers can use to wipe down their vehicles. Customers put their used towels into a separate red plastic (looks like a) trash can with a hole cut out in the middle of the lid. There is also a mat cleaner. I used it once, and it didn't make a difference in cleaning compared with using the strong vacuum. At the wiping/vacuuming area are spray bottles that customers can use to clean their windows and hard plastic interior parts. Customers can stay as long as it takes for them to vacuum and wipe down their cars. I haven't seen any employees tell anyone to leave. If you don't like to physically wash your car but don't mind doing the wiping down and vacuuming afterward, this is the place to go! read more

I'm fine with companies increase their fees that's their choice. What I'm not happy about is they automatically increase this fee on my credit card without asking. Excellent service and wash. This place is efficient and the wash is definitely worth it. I visited on a perfect Atlanta day, obviously expecting it to be busy. There were probably 20 cars in line and I got my wash within 15-20 minutes. They offer several different tiers of services with varying price ranges. You can pay for a basic wash, which starts at $10, or you can pay $25 for the most advanced wash. If you wish, you can even pay a monthly fee to get unlimited washes. There is a service kiosk for users to pay themselves via credit card or cash. What sold me on this place is that they offer free self-service vacuuming and inside of the car cleaning services. There are probably 15-25 parking spots that you can pull into, so plenty of room. The spots are large enough to have two cars next to each other's doors wide open with room to walk between. There are two different types of vacuums, one general and one for tight spaces. They also provide micro-fiber towels and glass cleaner to wipe down the inside and outside of your vehicle. Lastly, they offer a car mat cleaner, which is pretty neat. I'll definitely be frequenting this place often...they may have even sucked me in to purchasing a monthly subscription. read more

I go to the Top Express Car wash for all my cars in my family. We wash 5 cars almost every week. Today I went to get my car wash. My inside was unusually dirty because of kids grassy feet and clothes got grass clipping all over my car. I was going as fast as I could to get the car vacuumed and wiped. I don't move as fast as others because I have a chronic heart condition that puts me in need of a heart transplant. I was told that the ten minute vacuum was being placed because of so many customers. The manger and the managing partner could care less that I need more time and told me I had to leave. I have been a customer since the car wash opened. I have never had an issue. But today is all it takes with the non caring attitude with the two men working at the wash. I there are too many car wash places around to have a bad experience like I did today. I and my whole family will never use this wash again. Good Customer service is something that we must demand. Beware of this wash. In addition I think the wash itself has gone down hill. My outside of my car was not clean after going through the wash. I had to wife my car down to get it clean. Very happy to have a drive-thru car wash in the Chamblee neighborhood - brand-new, very easy process, different pricing tiers, and then after the drive-thru - free vacuum, towels and cleaning sprays. I got the basic $10 wash - my car looked brand-spanking new afterwards. Then a convenient vacuum for each side of the car, and lint-free towels already moistened (lol I know, cringy word) to clean the inside of my car. It was my first time visiting, I normally get my vehicle serviced at a full service car wash which I thought this was. I pulled in and went in the direction of the arrows which led me to the payment kiosk. Being the I was new to this I was very confused as to what do, after what seemed like about 15 minutes an employee who was very friendly came over and explained the payment system and walked away, I had more questions but couldn't get his attention. I wanted to leave but couldn't find an exit without going through the car wash. The gentleman who was putting the soap and water on the vehicle who I assumed didn't realize I was new to the car wash waved me in, I didn't know to take my foot off the brake and put the car in neutral, my car started to side to the left and I started to feel like my car was being damaged. The gentleman who assisted me at the payment kiosk ran up and told me to put my car in neutral and foot off the brake, I was still having an issue so the guy with the soap waved me out. I was still unsure as to what to do next so I had to ask another customer. I think its a good idea and will probably go back but they need better customer service and when they are told you are a new customer they should explain the process. AND there should be an exit if you change your mind and don't want the service. I kind of felt I was being held hostage to get out. read more

I've been watching this Top Express car wash being constructed over the last few months and finally had a chance to try it. Their equipment is all new and in fine working order so the experience was very good. I want to point out their payment kiosk seems to be much more straightforward than a number of them out there. This kiosk actually has a chip reader for your credit card so there's really no problem there, however when I visited there was an actual attendant there helping customers with the purchase and that was very helpful. You have to vacuum the car yourself Of course, but their vacuums are great with the power of a supersonic jet. TIP: You might want to get some painters tape and tape down your rear window wiper blade, some car washes do this for you, most of them do not, but it's advisable. To avoid damage. This location is much more accessible if you are traveling south on peachtree Boulevard from 285. Then you have to cross through the traffic on Peachtree Boulevard if you want to go back north and I can be a harrowing experience so maybe just turn right and swing a U-turn at some point or go around the block. If anybody can tell me the need for those two odd structures out front I would appreciate it because it seems like they could have just extended their lot a bit or just put up rails? read more

Brand new car wash on Peachtree Industrial. Much needed too because for some reason the area lacks a good car wash spot. This is a fairly typical new style drive thru car wash with all the bells and whistles. After the exterior wash the interior and such is up to you. There are more and more of these partial service car washes showing up. While I prefer to have someone else handle the inside, this saves some money so all good. Top Express is brand new and in tip top working condition. I paid $20 for a wash that included everything but some ceramic coat option. Payment and selection was easy at the self-service entrance, but there was an attendant there in case needed. After the drive-thru wash I used their very good vacuums, rags, window cleaner and all purpose cleaner. It was busy on a Thursday afternoon, but not overly crowded as I did not have to wait on anything. So far so good. I plan to use Top Express anytime my SUV needs a bath. read more

But today I went to get my husband's truck washed at 7:34 PM and the cones were up and I was unable to get his extremely dirty truck washed so as a monthly member with two memberships for two vehicles, I am a little bit upset that they closed before their hours state they are supposed to be open until. very very disappointed and if this happens again, I will cancel both memberships. read more

I was in the area looking for a car wash when I found this one on Google maps. Everything was fine until the end when one of the workers approached me and stated that they were busy and I had been in the spot for too long and they were busy. I would like to state that he was not rude in the manner he spoke to me but I quickly became very uncomfortable. I had just paid $30 for one of the nicer car washes and it didn't get a lot of the spots on my vehicle so I was trying to clean them up with a rag when he approached me. I was there for roughly 10 minutes (stated by the employee). I feel like after paying $30 for a car wash- 10 minutes to vacuum out your car as well as wipe down the spots where the wash missed was not excessive. They were extremely busy when I arrived as well as during the duration of me cleaning out the inside. We signed up for the Tip Top Wash Monthly Club today and had our first car wash. So far, I'm very impressed! When we drove up, there was a person standing at the credit card machine who answered all our questions. His name is Thomas, and he was very helpful! We ended up signing up for the most expensive package which is $40 a month for unlimited washes with added ceramic wax. The cheapest option was $20/month for unlimited basic washes. The drive through part of the car wash only took a couple minutes and the car looks great! We also stopped at the self-serve station to use the towels, vacuum, air compressor, and sprays (window spray and multipurpose spray I think). We also got a coupon for a free drink at Sweet Spot, which is for all new members apparently. Thomas said that there's no contract, so you can cancel anytime.
