They cancelled on me…read more Emailing me at 9am, when they were suppose to be moving me that day, is the most unprofessional despicable thing a company can do to someone that is selling there house and has to be out. Really puts me extremely out when you have to be out of your house due to selling. Actually more than extremely put out. What a shameful horrible thing that a moving company can do to a person. I paid you 500$ to hold my spot. Why the hell wouldn't you send at least a few people to get something done. I was promised 9 people and 3 trucks in my contract. I called, emailed, texted....all I got was an email cancelling. Horrible company. Horrible. Use them at your own risk. If you need to be out of your house by a certain date, do NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. YOU WILL BE LEFT HIGH AND. DRY.

The only comments I have that make this a 4 and not 5 star rating are that a queen-size boxspring will not fit in horizontally. Learned this the hard way after loading the entire box with space left at the top for the mattress & box spring. Ended up leaving the box spring behind. One of the latches on the box door was broken and wouldn't close all the way, so it shipped with one lock not locked. It's made of sheets of plywood, so watch out for splinters. Would definitely use them again. Best bargain for this kind of shipping, after much research.

(I have a unit in the Coal Mountain/Cumming location that is managed out of the Canton, GA office.)…read more Management called me and advised they found my unit unlocked with the lock and key inside. They advised the key had a lanyard/string around it. I was very perplexed by this because we have all keys that were issued to us and never have we had any keys with strings/lanyards around them. I went to the facility and thankfully nothing appeared missing. I called management and advised that my lock they issued must have been recycled because someone must have had a key and unlocked it. I asked if they would replace my lock with a new one. I also asked perhaps they were mistaken and it was a different storage room than mine that they found unlocked. The manager became defensive and said I was accusing her of being dishonest and that it is against their policy to recycle locks. She said she had a picture of my unit when she found it unlocked, and she knows it was mine unlocked. I asked if she could send me the picture and she said she no longer has it. I informed her that I am not accusing anyone of dishonesty, but rather that there must have been some mistake on their end- either they mistakenly identified the unlocked storage facility as mine or they mistakenly used the same lock on our unit so that a previous renter still has a key. The manager said they would not replace my lock and if I wanted to I could go buy another one and ended the call. Wow. I will be moving out of this storage facility. The mistake is on their end and instead of hearing me out, replacing the lock, they told me it was my fault and to deal with it. No thanks. I want a facility that is going to keep my stuff safe and then support me if there are issues.

When I say I made NUMEROUS calls to a variety of local storage locations, I truly mean it. My friend recommended tthat they had seen the new Boardwalk storage facility recently open and suggested I give them a try. I truly loved the way The Boardwalk Storage facility operates because you have one person, and only one person, that you work with at each location. As for me, I was very blessed to be able to work with Iesha Who has been in the storage industry for over 10 years. As I was making my initial rental over the Thanksgiving holiday, I have to give big-time kudos to Iesha Who was able to guide me even though her presence was not physically there. Of course, my moving truck arrived the day after Thanksgiving, but everything went off without a hitch and I have to give all the credit to Iesha. Great experience.

The property is secure and the facility is clean. Now the office is run with virtual computers set up by Reliant Mangement and customer service no longer exists. They are absolutely horrible. I would be extremely cautious in giving them any credit card or debit card information for auto payment as they are now streamlining cash from their customers by issuing you an invoice for one amount and charging your credit card a higher amount. Of course you cannot speak to any management because they are busy hiding behind their cameras and email system.
