They were quick, figured out how to make the tight spaces work, and were super patient the whole time. Nothing got messed up or damaged, not one thing. On top of that, they just had great energy and great personalities. Made the whole move feel easy instead of stressful, and I felt like my stuff was in good hands the entire time. 10 out of 10. I've used Atlanta Home Movers a bunch of times now, and this team is hands down my favorite. I'll definitely be booking with them again.

David in the office told me what to expect when I booked and answered all my questions: it all went exactly as he said it would. I paid a simple hourly fee for the labor, and a flat fee for the junk removal of the old units. No hidden costs. Richard was the team lead, and his experience was clear; they arrived on time and they handled the job with speed and assuredness. They quickly took out the old units with a lot of care to my property, then they fully installed the new ones for me. They made all the connections and tested it, so I didn't have to worry. I can't say enough about how well they treated me - they were all true pros every step of the way. AHM handled each detail, and I ALWAYS knew what to expect and what it would cost in time and money. They were transparent with everything and took great care of me. I will happily hire them again whenever I need labor, junk removal, or moving services.

Richard, Lavanty, and Mari went through stairs and elevators to get our belongings into our apartment. They called us before arriving to the PODS storage to let us know they were on their way. They assured us they would load us up and meet us at our apartment. That was so helpful because we were then able to get settled into our apartment before they arrived.

They confidently told me their 27' truck was sufficient -- but that could not have been further from the truth. Their truck is nowhere near large enough for a full home move like mine. It's more suitable for an apartment or small condo at best. As a result, they left behind an unbelievable amount of my belongings -- far more than I ever expected. I now have to rent a large U-Haul and finish the move myself, which completely defeats the purpose of hiring professional movers in the first place. I feel misled and incredibly frustrated. If you have a larger home or townhome, save yourself the time, stress, and money -- look elsewhere for a company that's honest about what their trucks can actually handle. See the pictures of what there 27' trucks CAN'T hold. For townhome and SFH homeowners find a moving company with adequate sized moving trucks and don't waste your time here. Additional commentary after the company continued to text me to persuade me to remove my honest review of this service for 30% refund or discount: I chose Georgia Home Movers based on the many positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite. This has turned out to be a very poor decision on my part. The truck your team brought was nowhere near large enough for my 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom townhome, despite your assurances. Now I'm left with an overwhelming amount still in my home that I'll have to move myself or hire another company to handle -- all while managing extensive business travel over the next couple of weeks. I'll be keeping my review public to reflect my honest experience. Please see photos that negates their actual response, especially about the 30% discount to remove this post. Tasteless!!!! Find another company folks.

Avoid This Company at All Costs They Allow Employees to Defecate in Your Home with NO Repercussions…read moreTHERE WAS NO TOILET PAPER IN THE BATHROOM. NO soap. I recently hired Top Dog for a move -- and it turned out to be the worst decision I've made all year. During the move, one of the movers entered my private bathroom without asking permission. He remained in there for several minutes, during which I was still being charged for his time. This was not only unprofessional but also a clear violation of boundaries. When I called the company to address the matter, the response was dismissive and unprofessional. The representative told me he "didn't see a problem" and compared the situation to letting a mover use his own bathroom. I explained that my bathroom had been professionally cleaned the day before -- and I had not even used it myself yet. I requested they arrange for it to be cleaned again, but my concern was brushed off. I was told they would "call back after speaking with the worker," but I never received any follow-up. No apology. No offer of resolution. No discount. Nothing. This company demonstrated a complete lack of respect for its customers and their property. Based on my experience, I strongly advise avoiding Top Dog for any moving needs.
