David in the office told me what to expect when I booked and answered all my questions: it all went exactly as he said it would. I paid a simple hourly fee for the labor, and a flat fee for the junk removal of the old units. No hidden costs. Richard was the team lead, and his experience was clear; they arrived on time and they handled the job with speed and assuredness. They quickly took out the old units with a lot of care to my property, then they fully installed the new ones for me. They made all the connections and tested it, so I didn't have to worry. I can't say enough about how well they treated me - they were all true pros every step of the way. AHM handled each detail, and I ALWAYS knew what to expect and what it would cost in time and money. They were transparent with everything and took great care of me. I will happily hire them again whenever I need labor, junk removal, or moving services.

Atlanta Home Movers was so fast to provide a quote and also follow up. Other companies estimated 7-9 hours for my move but these guys hustled the entire time and finished in a fraction of that time. Despite my house having many stairs leading up to it and also inside, they never once complained and had such a positive, fun attitude for the entire day. My husband was traveling so it was just myself and my 10 month old baby - so a day that I was dreading actually turned out to be the smoothest, most stress-free experience ever! From the moment they arrived, they got right to work and did not waste a single minute. Wouldn't recommend them still. Review not changed. 7/20: No reimbursement in full or any additional communication from this company and it's been almost 2 months. Avoid them at all costs! 7/14: Yes, accidents happen, we understand that and asked your company to make good on them. A $120 gesture of "goodwill" isn't reimbursement in full, it's a slap in the face that we refused. If there's truly a reimbursement in full for the brand new dresser and trench I will update this review again. If not, I'll update this with the communications from your staff.

The movers were friendly. Nothing was damaged. They even had to move our stuff past another truck that was in our loading dock of my building during our scheduled time. The other truck was for another move and they took much longer than our guys! I was moving out of a high rise with max 2 bedroom apartments, so I can say they likely didn't have much more stuff than I did. A money bag in one of my wardrobes has all of the cash missing (yes, I should have taken it out, but it's still a low blow). Suit bags with my husband's wedding suit and dry cleaned items were strewn on the floor with a box and large suitcase on top. The cherry on top: they took a huge chunk out of my pristine new lawn. NEVER AGAIN--save yourself the trouble and book a different company.
