Moving is inherently stressful. Movers should ideally decrease rather than increase that stress. I experienced very poor communication the morning-of, during, and after my move. Starting over 15 years ago we used Atlanta Peach Movers. Over those years we probably used them 7 times (yep, we move a lot). I recommended them to everyone. Everything about them was great. Not any more!!! The last 2 moves have been a disaster, which have spanned over the past 2 years. Their website says 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Nope! We could not have had a worse experience and Orlando the owner did nothing. I am a disheartened customer because they were SO good and now they could not be worse. The first bad move we just chalked up to 'not everyone can be perfect' so we used them again. This last move was so bad and the company did absolutely nothing to rectify it that we are now done. Seriously after two HORRIBLE experiences with no remediation from the company, I will never use them again. Wow! Where do I start? How about my family and I were in a serious last-minute jam after hiring another local minus-zero moving company (Bulldog Movers) to handle our move? They sent 4 of the most unprofessional and shadiest movers to handle our move (with a couple of them arriving smelling like weed and without the floor covering materials I requested when I paid the deposit). They were also armed with 12-15 pages of documents (aka moving contract) that I had not received days earlier nor had I had the opportunity to read or review until the day of the move. With only one day left to vacate the premises, I was beyond pi____ and my stress levels were increasing by the minute! Plus, I did not feel good about the overall situation (at all), so I immediately contacted Bulldog Movers and canceled the move on the spot! Afterward, my husband contacted Atlanta Peach Movers - There's no Tree in their name to request immediate assistance. My husband explained our dilemma to Mr. Lynch who was so professional, kind, and reassuring. He told us not to worry about a thing and that he and his team would take great care of us! He asked us to give him a few minutes and he would have someone from his team give us a call to discuss the details, and less than 10 minutes later I received a call and a text message from James the customer service moving coordinator. James was also professional, and helpful. He also reassured me that we and our belongings were in good hands! James handled all of the details surrounding our move within a matter of minutes. But because our move had actually kicked off 3 days earlier (I was already mentally and physically exhausted). So, I forgot to include some of our furniture pieces in the initial quote. But when I reached back out to James (shortly thereafter, after he had already completed and sent the initial quote to me) to inform him of the mishap he was very accommodating. Plus, knowing time was stacked against us James wasted no time providing me with an updated project quote that included the additional furniture I updated him about. So, within about 3 hours (I took a nap after an unrelated business call) our entire moving arrangement was confirmed and scheduled and I could not have been more relieved! Then, on the morning of the move, I contacted James via text to notify him about a message I received from a person who had committed to helping us move (some additional items) but had pulled out on us at the last minute! But just like the day before James jumped right on it and immediately told me, "No worries at all, Mrs. Johnson. We are here for you and whatever needs to be done. Atlanta Peachtree Movers have got your back!" Next, shortly after 7 a.m., I received a call from Roy J. who professionally identified himself and asked me if it would be okay if they arrived at 8:30 a.m., instead of 9 a.m. I told him that although I appreciated their willingness to arrive 30 minutes earlier we still had some loose ends that we wanted to tie up before they arrived. So, Roy replied, "Okay, that's fine. We will see you soon." So, before the 9 a.m. agreed start time, there was a knock on the door, and four men who I have since dubbed as our "Moving Angels" appeared - Roy J., Ray R., Hector Q., and Calvin L.! Plus, unlike the unprofessional movers, the day before all four men politely and professionally greeted themselves. They also all appeared to be focused and alert. Plus, neither of them smelled like weed or any other substances that should not be used while on the job! Also, unlike the day before, after having the opportunity to communicate with both Mr. Lynch and James I was confident that we had made the right choice by hiring Atlanta Peach Movers - There's no Tree in their name! I also felt completely at ease, which is a feeling that I did not have (at all) the day before. Also, before they started moving any items Roy J. explained the process and told us that he needed to complete a walkthrough to take notes and get a visual of the contents around the house. After Roy J. completed his walkthrough he asked me to sign the document and the moving preparation process began. Just before our "Moving Angels" whipped into action they took time to protect the floors and walls. Then, I witnessed them as they handled our belongings with both skill and care! The fellas were so professional and efficient that we were amazed and appreciated how quickly they moved everything and managed to keep things organized while maintaining positive attitudes! This really meant a lot to me and my family. I also loved how they catered to me and Momma! This was a very big move for us and Atlanta Peach Movers exceeded every one of our expectations on very short notice! PSA as it is moving season... we had the WORST experience with Atlanta Peach Movers. They were 10 hours LATE to start the move.. no one communicated this to us (we called once they were late to see when they would be there).. they gave us multiple stories and that someone would be there at 1.. after no one showed at 1pm we called to see what was happening and no one answered all the "emergency move numbers" they give you for moving day. It was a mess!!! We were told we would be compensated for all the mess and lack of communication - that did NOT happen and they threatened to TAKE our stuff if we didn't pay it all. Also made me sign a "no damage was done" at this time even though not even half the stuff was unloaded and refused to give us our stuff until we signed it. The main lady - I'll leave here name out of it.. who ran the show was so rude!!! A piece of furniture got scratched and she said that was not them.. fought me on it and just got in the truck (its very obvious it ran up against something).. they left personal belongings of ours and random stuff outside that we found after they left.. never let me inspect the 2nd truck to make sure all was gone (which is policy).. so many things were done that made this move absolutely horrible!!! The job started pretty good, an estimator was sent to my old house and looked at everything we had and gave me a fair quote. I like that much better than the video calls that some companies are using to see what you need moved. The movers showed up almost on time and went right to work and things were going good...until they didn't. Fair warning, anything you leave out as far as food, the movers think is theirs and help themselves too. We left some snacks at the old house for my kids to have when they got home from school (gummy packs, muffins, etc...) and the guys helped themselves to those within an hour of being at the house without as much of a thought of asking. We had a case of water out for the guys as it was a hot June day and I ordered six pizzas early in the afternoon. The trash from all of this was left all over the yard, I picked up no less than 15 empty water bottles and assorted other wrappers and trash from around the yard after they left. Once they loaded up the trucks from one house and we were ready to move to the second, we were on our way. The move was about seven miles and we could not figure out why it took them over an hour to get there, turns out they stopped for lunch, which is no big deal at all except they did not tell us and have everything we own with them and they billed us for that hour+ as if they never stopped working. The move into the new house was going ok until the day started getting longer, that is when the attitude of the crew changed, quickly. First they left an 80 inch TV at the old house that I had to go back and get, also a good time to note that they charged me extra for a TV crate which they did not use, just wrapped them in moving blankets. They broke an executive desk which they had no choice but to tell me about because they could not hide that but days later we noticed other things they tried to cover up and not tell any one. They knocked the legs off my daughters dresser and tried to glue it back on and had they matched the paint better might have gotten away with it. Yes, they glued and painted it without telling anyone hoping we would not notice. But that is the reason we got the insurance (a whole lot more on that later.) This is not our first move and we set up for the move very well, labeling every single box exactly where it needed to go in the new house. Not going to lie it was a pretty big move (14 hours total - 12.5 plus lunch actually), but that is why they recommended seven guys for it. As the day went on, the basement became the default for everything. It was wide open and easy to get to from a side door without having to go up or down steps. So any box they could, went to the basement (even if clearly labeled for another area.) It was very obvious they just wanted to get done and that meant unloading the trucks however was the quickest way possible. Once I started checking stuff and realized what was happening the crew got beyond pissed off that they were asked to put stuff where it goes and not just throw it in the basement, because that was the easiest. So the move happened in June, as I write this today at the end of January, I finally received compensation for the items that was damaged. Apparently, there is only one person who can deal with claims in the company and he is impossible to get a hold of. It took 10 calls before I could get him on the phone. Then he sends out his "guy" to see what can be fixed. I thought his "guy" was going to have a heart attack just walking up a flight of stairs to look at something. He tried to make shift fix the dresser and match the paint and it broke the next day, he came back and tried again. Broke again. This went on for three/four weeks. There was huge gash in the wooden floor and his idea to fix it, was to color it in with a furniture pen, just total bush league. After a month or so of this I finally got them to agree things need to be replaced that the "guy" was useless. I called every few weeks to check up and was always told some sort of excuse like "its done" or "things have been sent to finance" or "a check has been cut"...it never was. It took over six months to get payment, only because I finally got in touch with someone in the finance department who made it a priority. Had I not kept on them, there is no doubt in my mind I would have never gotten paid for the damaged items. I am not even going to try and worry about the extra hour I was charged for or things like TV crates, that could take a year to get settled. There are a hundred moving companies in the area and I can assure you I will not be using this one the next time we move. read more

After moving a year ago and choosing a "veteran-owned" moving company that pulled a fast one on us by showing up and declaring that we had more stuff than they realized and needed a 2nd truck (costing us more $$$), I cannot express what a difference it was working with Atlanta Peach Movers. They had 2 trucks, the right amount of people, and were up front about all the costs. The workers were professional (even shaking our hands upon arrival and departure - all 5 of them!), nice, and so helpful. We are in-between homes right now and our storage unit was overrun by rats. The crew from APM handled everything so well, allowing us to inspect items to make sure we could document the damage, removed two dead rats, and handled the 5-6 live rats that were uncovered like champs. This storage unit felt like we were in a litter box and this crew was unphased. When I broke down crying because I realized how much stuff we lost due to rat damage, they were so kind and compassionate. Since a lot of items were damaged, we were going to call a junk crew to haul it off, but Atlanta Peach Movers does that, too, and scheduled for our ruined furniture to get picked up as well. Please know that you get what you pay for when it comes to movers. We selected a cheaper option for our first move and got a crew that was not professional. Every item Atlanta Peach Movers touched was wrapped well and handled with care. They followed our instructions and worked without a complaint. A lot of my items were spilled from their containers, a bookshelf was broke. Boxes, which were clearly labelled, were not taken up to the second floor, leaving a dining room that I am still slowly unpacking on my own. There were a lot of concerns about the truck not being big enough, much of my stuff fell over and out of the truck. They were unable to move my art, even though I stated in the email art would have to be transported. The reason the bookshelf broke was because one of the young men tipped it on two legs, by himself, against the advice of his colleague. The manager of the move took full responsibility for the damage - it seems they will not take full financial responsibility. This is shocking, as they have a training facility and brag about how carefully they'll handle furniture. The shelf was around $350ish , they sent me $80ish to settle. I tipped each mover $50, catered their lunch, and treated them with dignity and respect despite damaging my bookshelf. Giving this 1 star because it's required. This is a buyer beware -10 Review. Atlanta peach movers were the company my new husband and I selected to move us into our first ever home. We waited 13 months for it to be built and on the day we signed the papers they arrived to move us in. Little did I know this would be the start of a weeks long nightmare at the end of a 14 hour move. I carefully itemized my belongings and counted every box. I identified the exact type of mattresses and asked for the proper supplies to cover a tv and two mattresses. Much my regret the crew that arrived to move our belongings took an insanely long time to load our items, did not have the proper covering for the tv and mattresses despite us paying for those items when we contracted with them. Not even 24 hours after we signed for our home they did $12k in damages to our home and our property. I have a giant hole in my drywall. I have a banister post that is ruined that they offered to itch with plastic epoxy. They are still charging for the move and basically telling us to take what they will repair and get over it. I have never in my life been the recipient of such poor customer service and worked with a company who cares so little for people who entrust them with all your most precious items and with moving you into your dream home without making it a nightmare. Buyer beware. This is the worst experience with mover in 46 years. I've moved 11 times and never ever seen this little concern or effort to make things right with a customer. At the time, my wife was 7 months pregnant with our first-born and the moving part was a concern for us both. Thankfully, we hired Atlanta Peach Movers. From the first consultation, we knew we were in good hands. The bid was transparent and price fair. On moving day, our old home was promptly packed up, faster than we could have imagined, and the unload process was smooth and efficient. The movers were professional and friendly, and went to great lengths to ensure our furniture was handled carefully and placed in the right areas. At no point did we feel like we were being a bother with requests. None of our items were damaged in transit. My first review was taken down at the emphatic request of Orlando Lynch, Owner of Peach Movers. Google depends on honest and forthright reviews and I was trying to save this company further embarrassment. We used Peach Movers on July 25, 2024. The sales Director came out six weeks in advance and wrote up proposal. The moving crew arrived at 8:15 AM with a truck about half the size we expected and needed. This was our seventh move in the last 40 years so we have a pretty good idea of what to expect. The crew chief arrived with her paperwork and said much of the pertinent information was missing. For the next four hours of the move the crew chief was blaming the company and assured us that the truck size would work. She informed me they home office/sales director did not inform her that their would be warddrobe boxes, TV and mirror boxes, and especially that there would be an additional pick up at a storage facility a mile away. The storage unit was 10 by 10 and filled to the max. I kept telling her that our load was not not going to fit. At 2 PM, she makes me call the office manager to tell them that this is not working and she'll need more help and another truck. Why I would have to be the person to call is beyond me? I started to lose my cool but kept it together. Peach Movers sent another truck with a woman who was not equipped to move a house, but was put to work anyway. For the next 8 1/2 hours of the move, there was nothing but attitude coming from the crew chief. Bottom line, the crew left our house at 10:30 PM after working 15 hours straight. The movers who did the physical work were outstanding. . It was 95° that day and these hard workers came quite close to exhaustion! When they pulled away from our house at 10:30 they still had another two hours to their day by having drive to their home office and then eventually to their own homes. I was very worried and upset that these guys were pushed to exhaustion by a disastrous communication sequence and a crew chief who was on the phone fighting with her significant other all day. Here's where the story gets really good. The owner, Orlando Lynch, calls me five days later after I put up my first Google review of this ridiculous moving event. This entire day had turned out to be the blame game and lack of accountability from anyone at Peach Movers. I explained to him that having workers work 20 hour days and not being prepared for a very easy but comprehensive move. I asked him to make sure that his workers were recognized and compensated for their extreme working conditions. OSHA would have loved to investigate this abuse. They charged me extra for the move and knowing that Peach Movers is a small business, I just wanted them to do the right thing by their movers and compensate with me with something that would not cost them any more money. They are the official movers of the Atlanta Braves, so I simply asked for one or two games so I could take my wife and sons to a game. I've been in the corporate world and I know that these don't cost Peach Movers anything. Orlando's lack of respect for the situation was further exemplified by his lack of follow through. I was told by his staff to contact them in September. My move was 7/25, so the timing was lackluster. I was offered a game on the last weekend of the season and told to remind them before the date came up. Essentially, they made me gravel for something that was promised and negotiated. The best part, the owner emphatically asked that I take down the Google review. I did with the expectation I could see a baseball game for the trouble and inconvenience they had put my wife and I through. I never received the tickets and got some lame excuse this morning apologizing for not doing it. Bottom line, these people asked to take down reviews for poor work. Mostly, they do not fulfill commitments made by their company. read more

Refused to honor insurance they sold. We hired Atlanta Peach Movers for a move that took place on Feb 1, 2022. They sold us a Replacement Value insurance policy for $212.50; they destroyed an antique lamp during the move; they failed to respond to emails about our insurance claim for the lamp for months; and then they refused to pay the replacement value of the lamp. We paid $842 for the lamp in 2014, so even if they had simply reimbursed our purchase price, less the $300 deductible, they should have paid us $542. But they sold us a replacement value insurance policy, at greater cost. With inflation it would likely cost over $1000 to replace the lamp today, so they should have paid us about $700. Instead, after ignoring emails about our claim for months (and I will post photos of the emails if they try to deny that) they sent us a check for $400 in May, more than three months after we filed the claim. (I am attaching photos as proof.) They provided no explanation for why they would not honor the Replacement Value insurance they sold us, they simply said "we will only offer $400, take it or leave it." I would never go to court, even small claims court, over such a small matter; sometimes in life you just get screwed and the ability to accept that and move on is a good thing. Mine was a long distance move. Every went wrong from the begging. Boxes were not labeled correctly. No scheduling done by contact. No payment instructions from company therefore unloading was delayed. read more

DO NOT USE this company. They damaged my furniture & then altered the pre move documentation to say that the furniture was already damaged. They also removed the addendum from the packet I signed with the supervisor saying there was damage. Thankfully I took a photo. The moving team was lead by Alvin Quinn. They showed up with 3 movers instead of 4 and have made the experience horrific for me. Better to use a uhaul & do it yourself. #sham read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THESE CROOKS. Showed up late, then didn't want to do the job because they had not prepared properly. Damaged a pair of heirloom chairs. $1600 to repair but they only paid $300 and this was from extra insurance I purchased from them. They moved our things into a storage facility. We just got the things out of the facility and I'm telling you EVERY PIECE OF FURNITURE WAS DAMAGED IN SOME WAY. They didn't use moving blankets etc. Our belongs were crammed and wedged into the too small truck they brought and nearly everything was damaged in some way. Scratched, knobs broken off of dressers, chunks of wood gouged out, dents, dings, paint rubbed into furniture that they ran into the walls. Had to pay $500 damage fees to our HOA on top of the $3000.00 they charged for the move plus the $1300.00 we paid to repair our chairs. Horrible read more

Wish I could give 6 stars! Another moving company I had booked cancelled only a few minutes before they were supposed to be at my house, leaving us in a bind. I called Atlanta Peach Movers and they were able to find two guys to come in last minute on a Sunday, when they were supposed to be off. TJ and William could not have been more professional, kind, or capable! They were incredible and I would highly recommend this company, as the employee who booked our move was very professional and helpful as well. read more
