When booking, we were led to believe our move would cost around $1,500. Instead, our final bill was over $3,300--more than double what we anticipated. One of the main reasons we chose this company was because we were promised a 20% military discount. We actually canceled with another moving company based on that representation. When it came time to pay, I specifically asked where the military discount had been applied because I could not identify it on the invoice. The gentleman I spoke with was unable to explain where or how the discount had been applied, and after getting the runaround, I was told to review the invoice and let them know if I had any questions. After reviewing the invoice, all I could identify was the company's standard rate, and I still could not determine where the promised discount had been applied. The movers arrived at 10:00 a.m., but the fourth mover did not arrive until after 11:00 a.m. Despite that, we were billed as if four movers were present for the entire move. I do not believe customers should be charged for labor that was not provided. Additionally, while the crew lead was very nice and respectful, he appeared to spend much of the day outside listening to music and socializing while the rest of the crew completed the move. If we are paying for a crew of four movers, I would expect four movers actively working on the move, not two or three while one crew member spends a significant amount of time off the job. When I paid, I was specifically told that if the crew finished earlier than estimated, any unused time would be credited back and that billing adjustments were calculated in 15-minute increments. The crew finished approximately 30 minutes earlier than the time we were ultimately billed through, yet no adjustment was made. What has been even more frustrating is the complete lack of communication afterward. Our move took place on June 13, and the final invoice was sent at 7:45 p.m. that same evening. I emailed with concerns regarding the billing on June 15 and followed up again on June 17. As of June 29, I still have not received any response. Mistakes can happen, but ignoring a customer's legitimate billing concerns for over two weeks is unacceptable. Unfortunately, the lack of transparency, unexpected costs, billing discrepancies, and complete lack of follow-up have left me feeling highly disappointed and taken advantage of. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

They give you an option to provide blankets & tie downs which we declined. We declined the minimal cost and wrapped our items up beforehand. Reading the reviews, some people don't understand that this is how it works with pod moving and why it is so cost effective. Suggest adding that service if you aren't comfortable doing it yourself.

I heard nothing until I reached out at 10am, and the crew didn't show up until noon -- after calling me at 11am to ask what supplies they needed to pick up from Lowe's. For a company that advertises "White-Glove, damage-free service," they arrived without many basic supplies, including scissors. They asked to use my quilt as a moving blanket and used my kitchen knife to cut tape and packing paper without permission, ruining the blade. The job was estimated at 4-6 hours and took 11 hours - they left my house at 11pm. I've hired full-service movers twice before with a comparable amount of belongings. Both times it has taken them under 4 hours. This crew spent over 6 hours just packing. Worst of all, my furniture was damaged, most of which was never wrapped or blanketed. Definitely not the "White-Glove, damage-free service" promised. I sent a formal written complaint requesting a partial refund and their insurance information to file a damage claim. No response in two weeks, even after reminder emails. I've noticed they sometimes respond to reviews here, even when they don't respond directly to customers so they pretend to care on this platform, but actually do not. Run away! Hire someone else!
