My wife, her 87-year-old mother, and I arrived at a medical office in Marietta to find both handicapped parking spaces blocked by a Charlie's Angels van. When I pointed this out to the three attendants, I got escalating attitude to the point that I was afraid for my safety. I texted the company (no reply yet) and plan to contact relevant authorities after my appointment. I don't care how well these people do their jobs or what they charge for their services. With behavior like this, they do not deserve to be in business. EDITED TO ADD: The owner quickly returned my call. Her workers had already called her with their version of the story, claiming that I "started it" by immediately cursing at them. Sure. Like a 70-year-old man by himself is going to "start something" with three well-muscled young men. Anyway, she said she trained her people in the "highest standards of customer relations" in such a way that I believe she knows what those are--except that, either it didn't stick with these guys, or they thought it didn't apply because I wasn't actually a CUSTOMER. So I revise my earlier statement that the company ought not be in business, to say that these three studs shouldn't be working for it, or for any other. Unfortunately, they DO. We had a large household move on Jan. 20th from Marietta to Adairsville. On the 19th we had the packers come in and pack up the rooms and on the 20th they came back to load the truck and move us to our new home. When they arrived to the new home in Adairsville I requested that they just put everything in the garage which went rather smoothly. It wasn't until we began unboxing items that we started to notice the lack of care taken in packing items broken etc. Over the weekend we found some significant damage to our property and became very displeased with this service. Attempted several time to call and found either my phone number blocked or they went out of business no one will speak to us or take our calls so small claims court here we come. We had Sanchez, Chris and Josh help us move. We had a simple process, moving only miles down the road. With the COVID-19 and small children, we were nervous about other adults coming into the house. These three gentleman showed up in gloves and masks, were very conscientious about social distancing and were very efficient. Even though they get paid by the hour, they moved quickly and charged us for minimal time. All of our items were very protected and there were no issues dinging walls or door frames. By far the most unprofessional moving company that I have encountered in Atlanta, Ga. Booked appt w/ them on 2/3/21 and paid deposit. Received confirmation of move on 2/5/21. Received an email about the move and movers assigned on 2/16/21. Missed their phone call at 5:35 on 2/16/21. Also received a text message at 5:59 stating they were trying to contact me about move for the next day. I responded I didn't receive anything about confirming outside of the email confirmation so was under the impression that was all that was needed. Called back 30 mins later around 6pm on 2/16/21 to be told our move was canceled. As a military family with two kids, we have seen our fair share of moves. However to have a move literally cancelled the day before at 6pm when most moving companies are closed to find a back up is just the height of bad business. I can not in good faith recommend this moving company to anyone! I definitely would not allow my fellow military families to use this company. read more

This post is long overdue (a couple of years actually but I failed to post it and felt it should still be known since the customer was an elderly man that was helping his disabled daughter and granddaughter) Showed up late and refused to finish the job after they knocked over a lantern with kerosene in it. A few drops fell on the floor and they deemed it a chemical spill and left all the boxes in the yard that hadn't been loaded yet. The fire and police dept came out and noted it was not a chemical spill and asked them to complete the job of packing up the furniture. . They refused to come back on property. Then they went to unload at other address what they had packed up and pressured my stepfather to pay more and refused the unloading until he put money on his credit card for the "extra" cost of an incomplete job. Services were not rendered. Multiple calls and no answer from the office. Shame on taking advantage of an 88 year old man and his disabled daughter. read more

The Move From Hell: Charlie's Angels moved me in July of 2019. I chose this company based on the positive reviews and location. The estimate was fine and preliminary communication with the company was good. I had everything packed in boxes. The movers simply had to move boxes and furniture into the truck. Moving day came. I was horrified as I watched the men hoist my antiques over their shoulder and head to the truck. Furniture was protected only with plastic wrap. No moving blankets. The 2 trucks filled quickly but the foreman refused to request another truck. Rather, furniture was stacked, packed and shoved forcefully to make it fit. I couldn't watch and felt I was at their mercy. MANY things were broken and scratched. Tearfully, I had decided to just let it go. Then, just when I thought I had found all the damage from the move...I realized this Move From Hell is the gift that keeps on giving. I am currently (March 2020) having new floors put in my home and the flooring company removed the top piece of the china cabinet to move it to another room. The picture attached is what was hidden below the top piece of the cabinet. Potential customers please beware. This picture is just a small sample of their destruction. This company makes many promises to "make things right" if something is broken but once they get paid they do nothing. Frankly, what could they do anyway to make such repairs?!? Damage to possessions like I experienced in this move simply shouldn't happen if proper care had been taken from the beginning. I hired their team to do a move from Kennesaw to Cartersville. The movers were extremely nice however it wasn't a professional move in my opinion. I've done several moves contracted through the military so I have high expectations. They did not cover my furniture in the blue blankets therefore my walls were scuffed and there were several scuffs and dings on my bedroom furniture. I still gave a 4 star review because the company was prompt in their response to fix my issues. They even sent someone out to replace a power cord that was lost during the move. He gave us a quote, we agreed to his pricing and gave a 200 deposit. A month later Charlie's Angels has to send out another rep to re-quote, as it turns out Charlie's fiancé Jimmy has NO CLUE WHAT HE IS DOING. The new quote is 1800 more than before!!! I'm updating this because, come to find out, they did break something, or cause it to break--a really nice, raku pottery vase. They said that they don't normally replace something that they didn't pack, but if I could find the receipt, they would consider it. That was nice, but I had bought it three years ago, and couldn't find the receipt--um, because I had just moved. I told them it was about $75. We were very happy with Charlie's Angels. I initially talked with Mary, who responded quickly to my inquiry and provided me with a prompt estimate. The day before the move, I got a call confirming the address and time of the move, as well as an email showing me photos of the men who would be doing the moving for us. On the day of the move, the men (Sanchez and Manqual) were prompt, courteous, speedy and careful with my home and furnishings. I could not have been more pleased. Where do I begin... well for starters this moving company gave my fiancée an "estimated" time of 6 hours to unload our things from storage onto a moving truck transport our things from Marietta ga to dunwoody, ga then unload our things into the apartment. Ok, sounds good. Well we were at hour 7 and my fiancée started to help unload boxes to get this agony over with as he had to work and did not want to leave me there alone in the house with movers. We are rational people so surely we figured if we paid this company over $900.00 for this then they would send professionals to complete the work in the time quoted. WRONG!!! For starters we used this company to unload our things when we first arrived to GA from IL. The company gave us an "estimated" time of 2hours for unloading and placing things into storage but it took 2 and a half hours for the workers to complete so...you guessed it we were HIT WITH OVERAGES OF $55. Well today you guessed it again they went over by another half hour and it was OVERAGES of $65. See the running theme???? I am not sure how this company does there hiring process however today while the movers were loading our furniture and personal items into the truck, one of the movers took his finger and BLEW SNOT OUT OF HIS NOSE UNTO THE GROUND and then proceeded to pickup more of our things. To add insult to injury my bike was DROPPED TWICE during the loading process by these "professional movers". When the mover knocked it over the first time he never moved it out of the way and to my UNFORTUNATE DISAPPOINTMENT he KNOCKED IT OVER AGAIN!!!!My picture was dropped during this move and all these guys could say was "sorry". My bike now has several scratches on the handle bars and it has NEVER been dropped I have ALWAYS kept it garaged and with a bike cover. Don't believe the hype with these good ratings on Yelp because I see with this company it depends solely on who your moving team is on how your things will be treated but either way... YOU WILL BE CHARGED EXTRA. Do yourself a favor and do more research for competitors I am not sure HOW my fiancée found this company but after all the money we've spent and the service we received I sure wish he had not!!!!! read more

Worst moving experience I've ever had. Almost every piece of furniture I own was damaged, some so severely, I had to dispose of it. After I complained, Charlie, who is a woman, agreed to refund my money after I sent pictures of all the damage. Thing is, I've never seen a cent. I filed a complaint with the BBB. Move was scheduled for a weekend with movers estimated to be there between 8 and 9 in the morning, they showed up by 9:15am but ended up with a smaller truck than agreed upon with Charlie. The movers did a great job of using every inch of space available in the truck and fit all my stuff from a 2B2B apt into the truck, before they even started Charlie had promised to take care of the mis-communication on their side if an extra trip was required( really appreciate the offer ). The move was done in the estimated window of hours, not a scratch on any of my furniture or walls at either place. The movers did a very good job of quickly loading and unloading the furniture / boxes as well as putting them in the correct rooms. I lost my job due to illness after being with a company for 30 years. Taking care of my 91 year old father and 3 children in college it was hard to lose everything and start over. All I had was sentimental things from my mother who passed away and what I could not sell but in those things were some very nice things. The majority of the movers were nice, however, we had to move to a smaller location and they had to pack everything in the house. Well I would say pack but instead everything was poorly stacked on top of each other no matter what it was. We are still uncovering shattered priceless items and new items that are now worth nothing. Most of my children's things were just put on top of each other. They did not care that our items were broken and some $4,800 later bye bye. I shudder every time we try to move anything, priceless items like my children's rocking chair the leg was in the garage the rest upstairs, I watched them take it off the truck intact, our brand new Christmas tree, gone, our Christmas snowman, off the truck fine, now it is in a corner shattered, my mom's ceramic angels, now dust... the exercise machine for my fibromyalgia was put all the way in the back folded up, broken, my new desk buckled and broken, I was told oh well it's particle board. I can go on and I am sure in the upcoming days I will even be more upset as something is uncovered every time we move anything. One, I would never ever recommend, two, the owner could care less and when I had an issue I was spoke to with disrespect and she was so condescending I was too tired to argue anymore so gave up. There is something to be said for having decent respect for someone that is homeless and these are the only things we will ever have and not to mention cannot replace. I believe and am appalled by the arrogance and that their demeanor would have been much different if it had been in my past and I was someone with money. My fiance takes care moving us, always, we had so much that we needed movers. He was in disbelief of the way things were stacked up and we are now just shattered at the disrespect to us and our items that now all I can do is get over it but I will never, ever recommend them or use them ever again. We called Charlie's angels from a recommendation. Jimmy came out to give an estimate, he was very nice so we were optimistic. We decided that we couldn't use about one third of our furniture at our new house and wanted to donate it, so they arranged to bring a truck day before our move to take our donation. The men who loaded our donation that day said that the remaining furniture should take about four hours to pack and load. We also agreed to hire an extra man to pack whatever we have not been able to get to while the others loaded the truck. We were confident that with the furniture we had left, four guys could load the truck while the fifth guy did whatever packing remained in four hours. After having quite a few conversations about what time, day, etc, the day of the move they started out by showing up at the place we were moving to instead of the place we were moving from. They brought a truck that seemed a little small but since we had taken out a third of our furniture the day before we didn't think much about it. Four hours into the move, we noticed that the truck was poorly packed and practically full and much of our belongings were sitting in our driveway. The leader of the group came to us and said he needed to get another truck which we had to add to our storage bill overnight. Meantime, the movers seemed to be wandering around our house without accomplishing much. They would go up the stairs to go to the bathroom but then come down the stairs empty handed. They were polite but lacked any kind of real experience and there was no experienced supervisor keeping them on task. After 6 hours, they were only 3/4 finished and almost all our furniture was on the driveway. We had to get them out so we could clean the house in advance of our buyers doing their walk through. In the end they put the rest of our stuff on the truck without properly wrapping and packing. To be fair, the crew that moved us in to our new house the next day was much better but it still took longer than they estimated and we paid by the hour. Afterwards, we found many scratched and damaged items. Charlie, the owner, was very defensive about the whole thing and declined to file an insurance claim for the damage. Instead, she sent her manager, Brad, to survey the situation and decide what to fix. Brad did a nice job of fixing certain things but they did not agree to fix everything, always having a new excuse about why it was our fault. Charlie wanted us to pay for 6 1/2 hours of the 7 1/2 hour load but after a lot of nasty talk we settled on 5 1/2. She was never very nice or apologetic. We recommend that you stay away from this moving company! She was very nice while asking for our business but it all turned into a very distasteful experience for us. Glad it's over. read more

This will be long BUT 5 mins is worth it. Moved here from chicago and gave this company a chance bc they had 4 stars on yelp and they were the cheapest. We used this company twice. First time, after explaining in full details the storage facility has an elevator, the company owner still quotes us 2 hour but yet when the movers arrived on scene they stated it may take a little longer bc of the elevator. "HUH?" Im thinking uh oh- overages... it was 30 mins over and extra charges. I would rather be quoted more money and charge less if the crew finishes early. So we gave this company another chance. Called again to move our things from storage to our place of resident. Explained in FULL details again- explained to the company there is a 30 mins travel time and the elevators are approx 15-20 yards from the off loading dock. Once again the company was very confident and quoted me a total of 6 hours which I thought it would take longer than 6 hours but I have no experience as a mover. Well it took longer than 6 hours. Lead mover forgot to load one of my televisions so he asked me if I could take it in my car?? Wtf? Im paying over $900 and Im taking my television in my car?? As the move got into the 4 hour mark, it seemed as if the movers were getting tired and lost interest in taking care of my furniture. They began dragging some of the plastic containers, began sitting heavy boxes on lighter boxes, sitting boxes on there side instead upright. By this time im just ready for them to hurry up and leave, its clearly shows this moving team has little experience so I began helping them unload boxes to avoid the extra fees and to protect my items. The lead mover only charge for 6.5 hour but it took longer... oh well. I think management failed this team by only sending 3 movers when it required at least 4 movers. I felt a little emphatic towards the movers bc the company owner should have sent an inspector out to look at the property before quoting me a price, estimated hours and not sending enough movers. When I moved from Chicago the moving company in Chicago sent an inspector out to look at the property to give me an estimate and it took the movers a shorter time. I was charged $300 less than the Chicago company quoted. The Chicago movers PACKED half of my things and loaded it in on the truck in abt 6.5 hours where this company could not on and off load in less than 6.5 hours. I will never use this company again but they MAY be ok for a very small move such as a 1 bedroom or dormitory room moves. When the company charges more than the estimated quote it totally affects the tip I give to the movers. If the movers are upset with the tip talk to the owner. read more

I have only had 2 professional moving company experiences in my life, and they were both horrible. I'm still scarred. However, I found myself in a position to hire professionals again, so... I hired CAM about a month ago for my recent move, and the level of service was WAY above the 3 other moving companies I interviewed. They were the only movers who actually came out to the house before giving me a quote. This gave me much more confidence that their quote would be accurate. They were pleasant and thorough (I believe it was Ryan and Brad who came that day). Katie, their admin, is an absolute delight to talk to, and very "on it" as well. I received a prompt quote and thorough move-prep instructions as well as clear payment details and so forth. Katie was also really great about it each time I had to call to reschedule due to closing date changes. I kept thinking, "I hope the actual move is as good as the customer service experience leading up to it". We FINALLY moved this week, and I can tell you that it was. I received a text the day before the move, detailing who would be the lead, the sub lead, when to expect a heads up call, etc. The morning of the move, we received a call right as expected, and they arrived when they said (no small feat on a weekday morning in Atlanta). We had a team of 6 of the neatest guys ever, plus (2) 26 foot trucks. They came in, introduced themselves, did a walkthrough, strategized, and got right to it. Very professional! They told me when they were about to take breaks and how long they'd be. I believe they stopped the clock each time. Additionally, our team of guys clearly got along great--there was lots of laughter which really helped lighten the mood. Very appreciated. They finished earlier than predicted--largely due to my husband and I doing a solid pre-move the day before, but also because of their tireless work ethic! This, of course, saved me money as we came in under the predicted 10 hours, and therefore under the predicted cost. Thank you SO MUCH to Wayne, Sanchez, Manqual, Jermaine, John C, and Antwan for your hard work, professionalism, and awesome attitudes! We will definitely be requesting "Team Awesome" for phase 2 of our move in a week or so. Thank you, Charlie's Angels Movers for helping remove some scars from my previous experiences.
