The staff was very helpful and at one point when I needed to move my things to a larger unit, they helped me get it done on the same day. Would use their services again if I hadn't moved out the state.

Terrible experience. I was moving out of state and had to deal with rude, unprofessional behavior…read morefrom an employee named Joe. Due to rain, we briefly parked near the elevator to unload. Joe was aggressive, refused to let us finish (despite us being almost done), and unnecessarily called the police over a verbal disagreement with my friend--who I apologized on behalf of and tried to de-escalate. Later, Joe falsely accused my movers of a hit-and-run for a minor dent in a gutter (even though we were clearly coming back). He called the police again when my friend--who stayed in the car--returned only to translate for the movers. Police clearly thought the situation was overblown but had to enforce Joe's trespass order. Despite staying respectful throughout, Joe told me I'd be evicted in a month, knowing I was moving out of state. When I asked why, I was told I was "responsible" for others' actions. No opportunity to speak with a real manager--just more dismissiveness from another employee, Thomas. I had to move everything again, pay more for movers, and reschedule my travel. Absolutely do not recommend this location. I'm taking legal steps due to how unfairly I was treated.

Absolutely Horrific Experience -- Do Not Use This Company…read more We hired All About Moving for a long-distance move, which included packing and transporting our belongings. It was, without a doubt, one of the worst service experiences we've ever had. To start, the packing job was completely careless -- half of our belongings were literally thrown into boxes with no protection or thought. I've attached a photo as just one example of how unprofessionally our items were handled. But it got worse. The truck they brought was too small for the job, and instead of owning that mistake, they told us to go ahead and start our drive and promised they'd return within two hours to pick up the rest of our things. We trusted them. Big mistake. They never came back. Instead, they left our remaining belongings in the hallway of our old apartment building -- something that was later confirmed by the property manager. When I reached out to the owner, Steve, I was met with hostility instead of accountability. He offered no apology, no explanation -- just defensiveness and attitude. Only after pushing further did I get connected with someone named Barbara, who said they'd work on a compensation plan. That was two weeks ago. Since then: silence. We paid a significant amount of money for this move, expecting professional service -- instead, we got disrespect, negligence, and complete disorganization. If the owner had even shown the slightest bit of empathy or ownership, I might have been more forgiving. But the lack of professionalism and basic decency from this company has been staggering. Avoid this company at all costs.

The first couple of times I've used them for moves-things were great, no complaints and the charges were expected based off the estimate. With that said..it's gotten worse. I'm quoted $119 an hour and $95 truck fee. 3 hours max they worked and it's almost $700. At the end when it's time to pay the guy says "we get 20% tip". Meanwhile that one guy sat outside and smoked cigarettes while chit chatting with people leaving the two younger guys to do all the work. One of the younger guys asked me how much of tip was in the envelope I had for them because he said the older guys always stiffs him. I felt horrible...he did most of the work. My 60in tv was broken(I have photos and video), two expensive lamps missing and they left all of my furniture wrapped in their moving blankets and plastics wrap and tape. Huge mess for me to clean. Between replacing my tv and lamps I'm out well over $1500 between the cost of the move and replacing those items. Reached out immediately when I found the mess left in a spare bedroom with the door shut...left 6 voicemails. Got a women on the phone once-she was extremely rude, when I told her what happened her biggest concerns was "well I'm wondering why they left my moving blankets"..."I'll have to see about coming to pick those up"....was promised a call back -no call back, no resolution and they have been ignoring my calls. I have disputed the charges with my credit card company and WILL NEVER use or recommend this place again.

They offer good online deals and once you're all moved in , two months later you get a tiny white postcard ( the kind you get for junk mail) increading the rent by 75% . For example you rent storage unit from r $125 , 2 months later they tell you in 2 weeks the increasing the unit to $225. Hoping you can move your items and are forced to pay the hyperventilated rate. I found another storage unit as the original price for same size unit so we rented the new one with lower rate or $125 and moved all our belongings into new unit. Only to have them raise the rent again 2 months later. I called our state rep De Leo but he said he couldn't do anything. All I know it's horrible, I'm forced again to pay higher amount and get my belongings out of there. Don't go there no matter how good the online price is, believe me they do this to everyone, it's shouldn't be legal. Stay away I'm warning you

The traffic between Revere Beach Pkwy and 2nd St is a nightmare most of the time. When the gate isn't randomly wide open it's not a bad space. Never had any issues with the self service entry, or the elevator or anything like that. My real issue is Extra Space's obsession with trying to sneak rate hikes by you. The first couple years I was there they increased the rate for vague reasons. Finally on maybe the 3rd year I told them no: that they couldn't justify any increased value to the space, and that they knew vacating the space and waiting for someone else to come in at a reduced rate was a net loss for them as opposed to just being ethical with a long term customer who never missed a payment. They caved because it's true and everyone knows it. Any time this came up in the future we did the same thing and my rate stayed where it was because, again, there is absolutely no way they can justify a rent increase unless you let them. Well they found the loophole, and it turns out it was just not telling anyone. Last summer they hiked the monthly rate up almost 20% without ever sending so much as an email about it. I might not have even noticed it if I hadn't been poking around in my bank history and noticed that they did it AGAIN without telling me. If they're trying to justify this as a covid expense that's pretty disgusting. 99.9% of the time you're not going to run into a single soul on the property unless you absolutely want to. Honestly, go somewhere else. This company has no respect for anyone, and goes out of their way to find a path towards cramming your forgettable trash into anxiety.
