I've been with them for about a year. I went at the start of December, and the sliding doors did not work. Office was closed, couldn't access. I went back the next day, sliding doors were off their rails, but at least I could get in. A couple of weeks later, went back. Doors worked, but no lights in elevators. Rode in the dark. Which was better than the last two times I went: elevators completely broken, had to haul my stuff up and down the stairs. I have complained, but nothing has been done. In addition, there is trash everywhere: parking lots, stairways, aisles. Enormous hole in the wall in the stairway. I don't understand how this place has deteriorated so fast. read more

Very disappointed after getting outrageous price increases from $40 to $160 in 4 years only to find out my unit was overrun with rodents and leaving behind so much feces every cardboard box were entered and destroyed thousands of dollars in clothes. first off I will own my responsibility in being behind on payments but my storage units were auctioned off yesterday without me notified of time and date of auction. the following is Massachusetts law that needs to be followed and it was not. Massachusetts c 239 section 4 states I'm allowed to get back personal items that include pictures, sentimental value and I'm allowed to look to get these items. I was told the buyer was I'll take out things. That is not right. Plus they never sent me notice saying when or what time the auction was. There are items from my parents, both deceased, my police officer brother that has passed as well, my 31 year old nephew. Many sentimental things that were left to me. The Niger can have the brand new washer dryer the curious the table and chairs I just want my Xmas ornaments pictures and contents of my curios but I've not been given the chance to look. I have an attorney looking into this because it also says even if it is auctioned I can buy it back in whole, blocs. I will never recommend them again and their customer service or returning calls. Also the people kept backtracking what they said one way then another. PUBLIC STORAGE SUCKS and their people have no feeling and I even asked to give the buyer my info so they could call me and I would pay for things but they said they couldn't even me giving them permission. read more

Beware price gouging. Not too long ago, my storage unit cost me 50-somthing per month. Lat summer it went up to $82.00 per month, Beginning of 2023, it became $114.00.Effective September 1, 2023, the cost will be $152.00 per month. An 85% increase in just one year. Along with the price increase have come less service and fewer amenities. I like this storage space; it is clean, well-kept, well-lit and safe--hence, the two stars--but I do not like being gouged. AVOID this dishonest, poorly managed storage facility. The rates they quote you online are not the rates you receive when you show up with a moving truck and movers... they will price gauge you and increase the price significantly. On top of that, they will increase your rent on a monthly basis - as the contract states they can - because they know they have most people's belongings held captive. Extremely dishonest people! Also, they don't perform maintainance. Expect elevators to be out for months at a time - great for distancing during COVID... There are plenty of honest storage facilities in this area, I encourage you to find one and avoid these crooks. read more

I have had a unit in this facility for several years and never had any issues. Today I needed to get another unit or a larger unit and Patrice and Kevin were very helpful in walking me through each option and making sure I ended up with the best value, space, and location. They have the sizes of the units wrong. I rented a 10X15 the unit was 8 x 10. I have to be transferred very inconvenient. A problem for a storage place, the electronic doors and elevators close immediately not enough time (2 seconds) to move get in and out with your stuff. You may hurt rushing trying to get in and out, Poor customer service the manager will not listen, do anything to help or concerned if someone gets hurt I see sometimes children around. He will not even give you his full name. read more

Don't use this place. They used to be cubesmart and for the past few months I've been getting bills from both places! I dropped of receipts confirming I have already paid for my space and they never called me back like they were supposed to. patrice is the only reason i'm writing this....shes awesome, hard worker, & very helpful...she deserves 5 stars, but the facility has much to be desired... as i do understand busy days....the set up is terrible in the bay area...hard to manuever, tight squeeze, those done and that want to leave are either stuck til you are done, or your moving truck has to be backed out and moved back and forth , 3 times for us yesterday....i was panicking that we had gone 45 min over our movers time as we were on a budget ...just a nightmare ...no carts, which is not patrices fault ...again, busy day but storage companys never want to have plenty on hand...the units cost enough not to have to wait 15 minutes to start unloading in the cramped area with doors that dont stay open and you constantly have to punch in your code each time you are going in and out....again, patrice is wonderful but public storage needs to fix these issues and having only 1 way in and 1 way out in the bay unload area is just crazy.... read more

DO NOT RENT A SPACE FROM HERE. Had a terrible experience with this company. Was moving stuff in when a man came out of the unit next to mine. Clearly a homeless man who was squatting in the unit and started yelling at us/approaching aggressively. We left immediately and went to the front office which was supposed to be open from 930am to 5p but no one was there and no one answered our multiple calls. In the 3 hours we were there no one ever came to the office and Could only get a hold of corporate in California and they were not very helpful. Left a message with the office in Everett but have yet to hear back from them and eventually had to call the police to escort us to get the rest of our stuff/make sure the man left. Even left a voicemail on the district managers phone with my cellphone number explaining the situation and have yet to receive a call back or a follow up email. Building has gate with a code and the door to get in also requires a code so not sure how the man was able to get to the 3rd floor and get into a unit. Reps at headquarters in California were not very helpful and one was very rude and implied it was not a big deal and happens often. Felt unsafe and very angry that no one has bothered to follow up or answer. read more
