We had to move the left items and they gave me grief for requesting a $100.00 credit/rebate. They also "lost" belongings. The other day I was going to give them another chance, and gained quotes for 2 moves....2 locations. I got a lot of confusing information from their rep Regis, mistakes on the quotes, and then a lot of attitude from him as well. When I asked to speak to Santiago I was told "that was a different time"... meaning that the owner no longer talks to customers...he is too big for that now. Never again. They are not the company they once were.

All our items were moved undamaged and put exactly where we asked them to be. The personal service was impeccable as the owner, Alex, was very communicative each step of the way, even at "off-hours" and was personally on-site whenever there was activity. The owner accepted any task we asked of him without making us feel as though we were inconveniencing him or his crew. They even happily mounted a TV on a wall of one of our offices. Worst move ever…read more Moved from Massachusetts to DC and had Sterling do the move. They promised me one day, and then continued to push delivery back to the point I received my goods a week later than intended. Packing was a nightmare. The driver, Billy, was unprofessional and his helper Ray did a horrible job packing things up. For instance, I don't think it's great to put ceramic dishes with cast iron cookware in the same box. To no surprise, the ceramics were smashed. Please don't hire this company-they don't care about you, they don't care about your property, and they won't communicate anything to you.

Not a single thing was broken or hurt during the move. Also, Dan and his team on both ends were a pleasure to work with and we'd recommend him and your company to anyone doing a move in the future. The only issue we had is that we ended up having to get a shuttle to and from each of our apartments which added an extra cost to our move that was not in our original estimate. But they were upfront about the possibility of this extra charge, so this wasn't a big deal.

The receptionist was professonial and responded quickly. She provided all, and additional information that I was looking for. This made the process of moving less stressful for me. The owner made the call to confirm and he is very professional and kind. He relayed all information provided from his receptionist. This crew does not miss a beat. I like how the owner is present and involved with his customers. The crew showed up on time, with the correct sized truck, supplies, and energy to tackle the day. I was hoping to have enough space for all my items. They even had some extra space to spare as well! Their method of moving and packing was superb. The move went smoothly. The guys took their time to carefully move all furniture and boxes in a timely manner. They worked so hard despite the heat of July. I stopped off and got them some coconut water to hydrate. They deserved it for their hard work! I had a fairly sized treadmill as well. This was an additional charge but they made no complaints and went right to helping take it apart and move it carefully for me. They even helped re-assemble once we got to our destination. These guys did not stop, they work very hard and exemplify the perfect team and made the move much easier for me. I made sure to tip them well because it was much deserved for their hard work. My experience reflects many of the one star reviews that I wished I saw before booking them…read more The long story short version: 1. They arrived late and didn't take accountability for arriving late. They were like, "who said we are late?". And they didn't even communicate their ETA to us. 2. No one answered the phone , the morning that our moving service was scheduled and no one reached out to us on when they would arrive. Their contract states that they would reach out with their ETA and no one did. 3. Some of our larger items were bent or broken. 4. Because they were late, they ended late in the day so we weren't able to inspect our items until the next day. 5. Customer service takes ZERO accountability. 6. We agreed with AOA on moving items out of our garage but the day of the moving, their team refused to move it and said that it would void their insurance to move these items (lawn mower, garden supplies, etc). Soooooo we had to hire another moving company the same day and get charged the extra rate for late night and expedited moving services which is expensive. We politely reached out to the company and shared our experience and nothing was done but the company giving us all of these new reasons and excuses for the service. Side note: upon arrival to our house, they were driving fast on our road and damaged our neighbors property.
