This is my first time writing a yelp review. I decided to write one because I was so impressed by how much dedicated service that Cubiq provides. I had many special requests (I already had boxes packed up so I didn't need cubes) but the Cubiq team was so fast in responding and graciously accommodated all those needs. I live in a small space and have far too much stuff for my limited storage space after my last downsizing. The bulk of this baggage is large format technical drawings, rolled in tubes of 25-43 inches in length. Cubiq seemed like a NEAR but imperfect fit, as they prefer to store your items in sealed containers that would not accommodate my large format drawings. Not a problem, they assured me. They uncorked a plan they'd been considering for such a circumstance: to obtain the heavy plastic (and roughly square-ish) tool boxes sometimes found in the back of pickup trucks and store these alongside their standard cubes. Presto! The concierge showed up with one of these (it looked like King Kong's lunch box) and we started loading it up. He took away most of what I had. A follow-up visit will get the rest; they wanted to be sure that the new box could store my rolled documents. The house is already looking better, and I have 5 more standard cubes to fill while I await the next concierge appointment, when the rest of the large items will go. I helped a bit in the loading, as one should, but I never even left my home. read more

When my family needed to store personal goods to sublet our apartment last year, I was shocked at how expensive even the most basic self-storage options are near the city. Enter Cubiq. For half the price of what we would have paid somewhere else, they delivered storage cubes right to our door. When we were ready, they picked them up, along with a couple of bulkier items, e.g., bicycles, etc. When we moved back in, we were so happy with the job they did that we've continued to use them for over a year now. It's created more space in our city-sized apartment and given us such peace of mind knowing our stuff is securely stored and only a phone call away. read more

I love the whole concept of Cubiq. Instead of paying for a storage uint, you put your things in nicely sized cubes. The lovely people who work for them, then photograph what it in each cube, assigned a bar code and then take it to their warehouse. The people who work for Cubiq are so nice and responsive. Even if your item doesn't fit in the cube they can handle it. After moving to a small apartment from a house, I realized we need to put things like seasonal clothing, decorations and cooking items that we seldom use except for large family gatherings. Should you need something their response time is instantaneous. I accidentally dialed the number on a Sunday and within 10 minutes got a call asking me if I needed something. You can even go to your Cubiq page and look at your 40 year old teddy bear if you need to make sure she is okay ( she is) along with the contents of each box, so you can remember if you need to purchase something or you already have it like your winter boots or your turkey roasting pan. Now that I am feeling more confident about offsite storage I am putting other things in there like summer beach towels, guest sheets, blow up beds (in the hopes that my kids will come visit me someday) etc and making a much less cluttered and peaceful environment for myself and my husband. I have even given them expensive art supplies and teaching materials and feel good about it. I'm almost addicted to cubing my stuff, now that I know my things are safe and accessible in a timely fashion, I love it. Special shout out to Michael and Ian whom I have met the most often. Amazing service. I moved from Cambridge to JP and had a month in between where I needed to store my stuff. I looked up all of the typical services for transportable storage boxes (Door to Door, Budget, etc) for something that would send me some storage containers, store my things for a month, and then deliver them to a new address. Cubiq was WAY CHEAPER than anything else I found, like 30% of the price of the others, and did everything I needed it to. That's not the typical use for these boxes I think - most people use it for longterm storage of miscellaneous things - but it was a great solution for my situation too. The boxes are a little smaller than I expected though, but still big enough to move most of my room in 5 boxes (except for any larger or bulky items). Also, exceptionally friendly and fast service - I could order boxes and they'd deliver maybe same day, or next day at most. They also picked up my empty boxes within 10min of placing the order (though that's unusually fast I heard). They were very helpful and accommodating in answering any questions I had, resolving my order issues, and being flexible in timing. Anyway, great experience. Glad they exist.
