Joe was aggressive, refused to let us finish (despite us being almost done), and unnecessarily called the police over a verbal disagreement with my friend--who I apologized on behalf of and tried to de-escalate. Later, Joe falsely accused my movers of a hit-and-run for a minor dent in a gutter (even though we were clearly coming back). He called the police again when my friend--who stayed in the car--returned only to translate for the movers. Police clearly thought the situation was overblown but had to enforce Joe's trespass order. Despite staying respectful throughout, Joe told me I'd be evicted in a month, knowing I was moving out of state. When I asked why, I was told I was "responsible" for others' actions. No opportunity to speak with a real manager--just more dismissiveness from another employee, Thomas. I had to move everything again, pay more for movers, and reschedule my travel. Absolutely do not recommend this location. I'm taking legal steps due to how unfairly I was treated.

They are open late I think until 10pm. The place is clean, they offer elevators, and rolling carts to help people bring their things up to their units. The not so great points are the ever increasing rates. But at least you do get a heads up about it. Increasing rates are happening everywhere though. I don't feel so safe being alone up on my floor. I don't see any security camera's around so I usually need to bring someone with me. Otherwise it's an okay place.

NEVER RENT AT PUBLIC STORAGE…read more I WAS CHARGED MORE THAN I AGREED TO. I chose a unit here because it was shown as $65/month on the website, but the first month was hit with a $78/month rental fee, a $30 "sign-up fee," and an ADDITIONAL $25 for an unknown reason. The lock they gave me for the unit did not fit in the door upon move-in, and no attendant was there to help even though it was during business hours. I came back the next day because at that point I WAS PAYING RENT FOR A UNIT I COULDN'T ACCESS, and there was no attendant to help again. I called the office a number of times and got no response. When I called customer service, I asked if I could switch to a unit where the door works, and the rep said I could if I pay $30 more a month for a unit on the 4th floor. When I said I want to cancel my rental, he agreed to the original agreed-upon price. I had my things in the unit only for as long as I needed it, but when I "scheduled move-out," it made me pay rent for the following month too (which was at a 40% increased rate) even though I wasn't using it because I didn't schedule 30 days in advance.

I'll give 'em one more star for that. We shall see whether the cash arrives... *Update* Several weeks later they did send a check, so I'll give them 3 stars. They're all right. I found another storage unit as the original price for same size unit so we rented the new one with lower rate or $125 and moved all our belongings into new unit. All I know it's horrible, I'm forced again to pay higher amount and get my belongings out of there. It's a hobby. I'm working on vintage furniture and that's why I had a unit right by the outlet sometimes I need to use the outlet less than once a month and it doesn't take much power anyway. They covered them all then they doubled the rent. They didn't just go up a little bit they doubled it. The ability to drive through the middle of the building is no longer helpful once the rent was doubled. I'll be moving out this month save yourself the trouble they'll bring you in at one rate and the next month they will double your rent.
