He lowered my rent substantially and told me so during that phone call. He was very nice and this really was a blessing because I don't have anyone to help me move my stuff out and I'm almost 70 years old is that alone it's worth the top star rating in my book. Do not store your items here. I had one of their *container* units to hold furniture, mattress,…read morerugs, etc. while I found a house. When I went to empty out the unit, I found dirt all over every horizontal surface and water damage for items that rested on the floor. One item, a lovely entry table, molded and the wood swelled and began to rot. A rug had to go in the trash. The mattress has to be disposed of too. The storage management said there was nothing they could do for me since I didn't get the extra insurance. Their unit floods and rains dirt on my belongings and they don't seem to want to even try to make it right. Be warned! Choose another storage location.

They are now trying to collect rent for December after moving out and told by their employee nothing owned. Now stating on phone it will go to collections if not paid, when contesting the bill. Save yourself a headache, do not recommend.

Public Storage Purchased this location from Arizonia Storage Company and names changed on 11/4/24…read more The Prior Management Team and Company was Extremely helpful and cared about their customers and helping them out. Had a Unit with Arizonia Storage Company and had a Paid Contract. When Public Storage purchased the Location, we revived notice of change in price. Went in to talk to the office on a Tuesday and they said they could not honor the original paid contract they would have to contact the regional manager and get back to use. a few hours later the office called and said they are going to honor the Contract, and we do not have any payment due until the end of the paid contract. The next day log in to the Customer Portal to make sure this was reflected on the account. and it was not. Stopped in the office on Wed. and they now are telling us no they are not honoring the contract. we would have to make a full payment of $309 more over what was paid on the first lease with the other company. (if you go online or call the rate that is beeing offered is about $65 less than what they wanted to charge with the new contract that was offered to us). or need to vacate out of the unit by 11/28/24 they Will not Honer the Paid Contract and demanded new Lease with a Very Hefty Price increase for the Unit. They told us we would have to get our payments that was paid from the original owners, also refused to honor the hours of access that was given in the original contract. It has been now more then 20 days after they have taken over and they still do not have the Elevators fixed for customers on the 2nd floor they have to use the Stairs to access their units. I would not Recommend this Company to even my Worst Enemy Wish we could Leave a No Star rating. All the Review's prior to 11/4/24 are not Public Storage.

I don't have any problems with it. I load what I need to in there and it's pretty spacious for the unit that I got. I'm even thinking if I should go a bit bigger. The light by my unit is either out or maybe doesn't sense my motion cause they do have motion censored lights. They do have music playing so you don't feel alone and it's not super loud so you don't have to worry about not hearing anything. I love that there are carts available to use so you don't have to carry all of your things to your unit. I do feel safe with my items being stored there with all their security they have. And I love love love that it is temperature controlled. These 3 things were probably my main concerns and they checked all of the boxes. Being a new year, the price did not change for me. I think whatever you sign for and agreed with for the price is what is locked in. I definitely recommend this spot to store your items! I see more & more popping up throughout the East Valley.

I find it really shocking that I was charged a 27% increase on my unit for no reason or explanation. I called three times and left messages right after I was charged, as I thought it was an error on their end. I talked to Kyle and asked him why I was charged, and I was not notified by phone or email. Kyle said he would send in a complaint about it to corporate after our lengthy conversation, but it was not even done. I also told him because of the addition of $50 a month I would be leaving asap. I was sent a copy of the PDF increase 30 days after the increase was charged to my account. It shows on the PDF that they give their customers a 3-day notice for a 27% increase, which was $50 over my monthly payment. A 3-day notice, so their customers may not have an opportunity to make a decision to stay or leave. I have been waiting for a call or response but did not receive any communication from anyone at this location in this matter until I called back to confirm I already moved from this location. Sad that this company has to do this to make money by putting people in a difficult position of having to move or forced to pay this ridiculous increase. I will never use your company again and will share my experience with everyone I can, so they do get forced to make a decision like I had to. Again, it is really sad that this company has to take advantage of their own customers to make extra money. All together, it is a wrong and unethical practice. Every few months they would raise their rates on you because of "market conditions". Well, if "market conditions" are causing you to drop your prices on new customers, why are these same "market conditions" increasing the storage fees for current customers. I'm no business major, but that sounds extra scammy to me.... If you need storage for more than the free month they offer, look somewhere else. Business practices are so bad that they have to offer people free storage to walk in the door, and then the world of no-notice rate increases exist. Plenty of other storage options in the area. Reviews of other Extra Space Storage on Southern Dr nearby got blasted in reviews for same business practices. I wonder if this is common with all Extra Space locations. Extra Space, extra BS price increases. That should be their company motto.
