I rent three units from this location. I started renting only 3 months ago and they already raised my rent without any notice about $100 each unit. Pretty outrageous tactic to offer a certain rate as a "deal" then double the costs only months later. They also closed the location down to maintain the asphalt which is fine. However dust and asphalt was blown all over the inside of each of my units causing damage to my items inside. read more

Very convinient no contact move in very easy, place is neat

I've been at this location just over a year and they have increased my rent twice during that time frame. The site manager is a friendly and helpful lady but her upper management must not care about customer service to much since I asked for a phone call and no one ever followed up. The facility is clean, cool and dry. Unfortunately the bathroom was broken for 6-8 weeks which is a bummer if you gotta go! I'd leave in a second if they weren't so close to my home. read more

Signed a 6-month lease expecting to sell my house and move within that time. I did not quite make that 6-month time frame and on the 7th month they raised the rent by $12.00. Ironically I can turn around and rent the same unit at the original price, (probably) have to buy the lock again and save $60.00 over the next 6 months. I will say though that the staff on site is super helpful, very kind, and very communicative. Upper management needs to stop messing around with existing renters (I have choice words for them), be supportive of their staff and appreciate the fact they have long-term customers. read more

I was treated really well initially, but two issues exist here. First, they will raise your rates aggressively each year. I have no problem with a modest increase here or there to cover the cost of doing business. However, PS chooses to do it arbitrarily on an annual basis. Now I am paying more than I would for a larger unit at this facility. This is simply GOUGING. I use this place for business storage and have, or as of now, had no plans to move. I have left several messages for the District Manager requesting a consistent rate in return for a guarantee to occupy the unit for several years. My calls have gone unanswered. That is the second issue. Lack of professionalism. In addition to not returning calls, my CC on file was compromised a while back (not by PS) then monthly rent came due. PS slapped with me a hefty late fee and locked me out of my unit. I went in within 24 hours of this occurring to rectify the situation. I explained what happened, yet they refused to waive the late fee. I stood my ground and told them I'm not paying the fee or I would vacate the unit. Finally, after 20 minutes of arguing, a manger stepped in waived the late charges. I am an honest business person and that is why I was there in person making good on a situation that was out of my control. I did not appreciate being treated like this. I will vacate if PS does not agree to a reasonable rate. I would not rent here again. read more

Pricing was a good deal, but be prepared to buy the REQUIRED lock they sell, even though any type of lock would work on these doors. And of course, the lock is $20. Just an added extra cost to nickel and dime. I already had a very secure lock I used from another facility that would work completely fine, but they want you to buy theirs. Rates increase every few months. Have only had this storage unit a year and it's alreasy increased in price 3 separate times. They get you in intially with cheap prices but then slowly raise the price every 2 months. Started at $100 rental. Now they want to charge me $170. Just all around deceitful business practice. read more

Wish I could give this negative stars! Soooo frustrates. Never can get ahold of anyone. When I first got a unit the girl was new and had no clue what she was doing. Ran my card multiple times and then the system crashed. Have tried to contact management to no avail! No one will refund my money or compensate a month that I double paid for. I called public storage for a RV storage space. They had a 30 ft space that they assured me would accommodate my 36 ft motorhome. On Friday they reserved the space for me and I drove from Flagstaff to look at the space and complete the paperwork. After a 3 hour drive I was told they had rented the space to someone else. THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED. read more

Great location, very secure, and helpful staff but, I Rented a unit originally for $95 a month, three months later it increased $25, then three more months pass and it increases $25 more dollars. I finally moved out and in a little over a year my rent went from $95 to $175. Also as a heads up, you will need to purchase insurance for your unit as well as a lock that they only sell for an additional $20. read more

In a desperate attempt to find a storage place for everything in my home I came upon this place however when I arrived the place was closed. Fortunately I had good luck today since I haven't had any in a while and Selest opened up the place for me SHOWED ME EVERY LOCKER AVAILABLE IN ALL SIZES and then helped me pick the best unit possible all while she should be closing up and going home to her family. She even helped me get a really good price rate cause she knew how stressed I was and how much I needed this unit. Facility was convenient to my home, was new and clean, there is no problem with any of that. However, I strongly suggest that you look elsewhere because the price is obviously moving target. I have had a unit at this facility for 6 months when I received notification in the mail that my monthly rent was increasing 16% the next month. You would think that it would be at least a year before you would experience an increase and it certainly wouldn't be 16%. I called the office and asked if this increase was correct. The response I received was that she didn't know the rates are established at the corporate office. When I told her I thought that this was ridiculous and would likely have to find another location she simply responded "have a nice day". There are other locations in the area and I highly recommend you investigate those before wasting your time moving your belongings here only to have to turn around and move them back out after they attempt to screw you on the monthly rent. read more

Wow. Talk about a bad way to start a new business. I showed up the day after they opened. Website says $1 first month and 15% off monthly fees when you reserve online. Front desk was very nice but when I inquired about the 15% off the manager (David) said it didn't apply. When I told him I was going to cancel my reservation he told me they were still going to charge me a $22 administration fee. I was there 15 mins and never took possession of the unit yet they want to charge me $22 because they can't honor what the website says? I will not be doing business there and can't imagine they will have great success with management like that! read more

Great storage units for a great price. I was impressed by the special they were advertising and how I was able to book and move in on a Sunday! The only thing is you have to purchase their lock for $20 and you have to sign up with their insurance for the unit which is not such a bad idea since we canceled our home owners insurance when we sold our home. Still more affordable and accommodating than the other storage units I checked out before this. read more

*beware* I was given a monthly quote of $156. After 4 months it has increased to almost $200. They also don't tell you ahead of time that insurance is required and you have to buy one of their locks. This business takes and takes and takes. read more

I reserved a unit under my name on 6/18/2016 and when I arrived I was told that I could not get the special because my ex-girlfriend has a unit there. Both associates acted and looked very unprofessional. We are currently going through a rough time and I should not have to explain my personal situation with two individuals I do not know. Now after their actions yesterday my children were made aware of my situation in the most uncomfortable and least personal way. I did not appreciate their behaviors nor their accusations that I am trying to ripped them off. Started out great, was told if I went online I could rent the unit cheaper, I went online reserved my unit, had appointment to sign and then I was told I had to purchase the 11 dollar a month insurance and it was mandatory. Then after about 4 months they notified me my rates will be going up beginning Sept 1. I feel this is a bait and switch tactic and very very unethical. I will be cancelling my storage and will not participate in their unethical business practices. My neighbor warned me of this since they did the same thing to him so this is definitely business as usual for these crooks. read more
