We received excellent and personable service from Carla 2 days in a row! She was very patient and friendly while assisting me with the online rental process. The next day, when we went to check out our new unit, we were baking in the sun. She quickly assisted us with a new rental option and made the transaction very smooth. Thank you Carla! read more

I rent three units from this location. I started renting only 3 months ago and they already raised my rent without any notice about $100 each unit. Pretty outrageous tactic to offer a certain rate as a "deal" then double the costs only months later. They also closed the location down to maintain the asphalt which is fine. However dust and asphalt was blown all over the inside of each of my units causing damage to my items inside. read more

Mindy was great! I was moving out of my storage unit slowly and trying to be out right before the new year. I would see Mindy out An about and she was so lovely. she was also able to finish my checkout process which was painless and easy. happy new year public storage you guys have a great team read more

Very convinient no contact move in very easy, place is neat

I've been at this location just over a year and they have increased my rent twice during that time frame. The site manager is a friendly and helpful lady but her upper management must not care about customer service to much since I asked for a phone call and no one ever followed up. The facility is clean, cool and dry. Unfortunately the bathroom was broken for 6-8 weeks which is a bummer if you gotta go! I'd leave in a second if they weren't so close to my home. read more

I appreciated the ease of the online process from start to finish. great facility too.

I was treated really well initially, but two issues exist here. First, they will raise your rates aggressively each year. I have no problem with a modest increase here or there to cover the cost of doing business. However, PS chooses to do it arbitrarily on an annual basis. Now I am paying more than I would for a larger unit at this facility. This is simply GOUGING. I use this place for business storage and have, or as of now, had no plans to move. I have left several messages for the District Manager requesting a consistent rate in return for a guarantee to occupy the unit for several years. My calls have gone unanswered. That is the second issue. Lack of professionalism. In addition to not returning calls, my CC on file was compromised a while back (not by PS) then monthly rent came due. PS slapped with me a hefty late fee and locked me out of my unit. I went in within 24 hours of this occurring to rectify the situation. I explained what happened, yet they refused to waive the late fee. I stood my ground and told them I'm not paying the fee or I would vacate the unit. Finally, after 20 minutes of arguing, a manger stepped in waived the late charges. I am an honest business person and that is why I was there in person making good on a situation that was out of my control. I did not appreciate being treated like this. I will vacate if PS does not agree to a reasonable rate. I would not rent here again. read more

Signed a 6-month lease expecting to sell my house and move within that time. I did not quite make that 6-month time frame and on the 7th month they raised the rent by $12.00. Ironically I can turn around and rent the same unit at the original price, (probably) have to buy the lock again and save $60.00 over the next 6 months. I will say though that the staff on site is super helpful, very kind, and very communicative. Upper management needs to stop messing around with existing renters (I have choice words for them), be supportive of their staff and appreciate the fact they have long-term customers. read more

Pricing was a good deal, but be prepared to buy the REQUIRED lock they sell, even though any type of lock would work on these doors. And of course, the lock is $20. Just an added extra cost to nickel and dime. I already had a very secure lock I used from another facility that would work completely fine, but they want you to buy theirs. That's the only annoying part! read more

Rates increase every few months. Have only had this storage unit a year and it's alreasy increased in price 3 separate times. They get you in intially with cheap prices but then slowly raise the price every 2 months. Started at $100 rental. Now they want to charge me $170. Just all around deceitful business practice. read more

If I could give them minus stars I would!!!!! I turned in unit at 10am on 1st of month and the girl in office tells me that I have to pay the ENTIRE month fee!!!! They can turn around and rent it today its spotless!!!! At Lease pro rate it half you creeps!!!! Do NotGo there!!! Too expensive for tiny units!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Awful customer service!!!! Too many other places without snotty office staff!!!!! read more

Wish I could give this negative stars! Soooo frustrates. Never can get ahold of anyone. When I first got a unit the girl was new and had no clue what she was doing. Ran my card multiple times and then the system crashed. Have tried to contact management to no avail! No one will refund my money or compensate a month that I double paid for. I have shown my statements that it went through twice and they constantly argue with me! Prices raise often! No customer service. Can't wait to get out of here!!!!! read more

The facility is always clean and well taken care of. Select is absolutely the best! She is always professional and helpful. She always answered any questions I had and help find solutions. I recommend this location! read more

Carla was the most helpful person I've felt with there high class resolved me issues and followed up I recommend highly

I called public storage for a RV storage space. They had a 30 ft space that they assured me would accommodate my 36 ft motorhome. On Friday they reserved the space for me and I drove from Flagstaff to look at the space and complete the paperwork. After a 3 hour drive I was told they had rented the space to someone else. THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED. read more

Great location, very secure, and helpful staff but, I Rented a unit originally for $95 a month, three months later it increased $25, then three more months pass and it increases $25 more dollars. I finally moved out and in a little over a year my rent went from $95 to $175. Also as a heads up, you will need to purchase insurance for your unit as well as a lock that they only sell for an additional $20. read more

Facility was convenient to my home, was new and clean, there is no problem with any of that. However, I strongly suggest that you look elsewhere because the price is obviously moving target. I have had a unit at this facility for 6 months when I received notification in the mail that my monthly rent was increasing 16% the next month. You would think that it would be at least a year before you would experience an increase and it certainly wouldn't be 16%. I called the office and asked if this increase was correct. The response I received was that she didn't know the rates are established at the corporate office. When I told her I thought that this was ridiculous and would likely have to find another location she simply responded "have a nice day". There are other locations in the area and I highly recommend you investigate those before wasting your time moving your belongings here only to have to turn around and move them back out after they attempt to screw you on the monthly rent. read more

All I can say about this place is three words: THANK YOU SELEST. You really are heaven sent !! In a desperate attempt to find a storage place for everything in my home I came upon this place however when I arrived the place was closed. Fortunately I had good luck today since I haven't had any in a while and Selest opened up the place for me SHOWED ME EVERY LOCKER AVAILABLE IN ALL SIZES and then helped me pick the best unit possible all while she should be closing up and going home to her family. She even helped me get a really good price rate cause she knew how stressed I was and how much I needed this unit. If you're ever looking for a place to leave your things for a little while public storage on chandler heights is it but only if Selest helps you !! Thank you again !! read more

I showed up 4hrs before my appointment, and the staff was very accommodating. Connie is a hoot as very funny. I had a great experience.

Wow. Talk about a bad way to start a new business. I showed up the day after they opened. Website says $1 first month and 15% off monthly fees when you reserve online. Front desk was very nice but when I inquired about the 15% off the manager (David) said it didn't apply. When I told him I was going to cancel my reservation he told me they were still going to charge me a $22 administration fee. I was there 15 mins and never took possession of the unit yet they want to charge me $22 because they can't honor what the website says? I will not be doing business there and can't imagine they will have great success with management like that! read more

Great storage units for a great price. I was impressed by the special they were advertising and how I was able to book and move in on a Sunday! The only thing is you have to purchase their lock for $20 and you have to sign up with their insurance for the unit which is not such a bad idea since we canceled our home owners insurance when we sold our home. Still more affordable and accommodating than the other storage units I checked out before this. read more

Brandi was great in showing the unit that we were looking to rent. Super helpful in all the questions and answers we needed.

*beware* I was given a monthly quote of $156. After 4 months it has increased to almost $200. They also don't tell you ahead of time that insurance is required and you have to buy one of their locks. This business takes and takes and takes. read more

Brandi was such a great help with my storage needs. Place is clean and have anything I need to store my things.

Everything was well maintained and quick. Employees have answered questions and met my needs sufficiently.

They were very helpful and sold me a unit on the first visit. The unit are very clean and secure.

Connie ia amazing. So helpful and accommodating. And the property is clean and well maintained. Definitely one of the nicest in the area.

The manager in charge of the Higley and Chandler Heights location is the best! With two different units and a very busy schedule, Selest always goes above and beyond to make sure I'm fully taken care of! Thanks for everything you do for your customers Selest!!! read more

Nancy was very nice and pleasant when I came into the office. Wish I could pro rate since I won't need the whole month, but oh well. I'll take the WHOLE month the remove the last few items. read more

We were really happy with the service that we got from Brandi. She took her time making sure that we got what we needed and even though the paperwork clearly spelled out the terms and prices, she took the time to explain everything fully. The units are clean and priced right. None of there terms were unreasonable. I highly recommend them! read more

Clean units, clean facility, good service. Got exactly what I expected from a storage unit facility and feel comfortable with my belongings being there for 6 months. Connie was great as well! read more

I reserved a unit under my name on 6/18/2016 and when I arrived I was told that I could not get the special because my ex-girlfriend has a unit there. Both associates acted and looked very unprofessional. We are currently going through a rough time and I should not have to explain my personal situation with two individuals I do not know. Now after their actions yesterday my children were made aware of my situation in the most uncomfortable and least personal way. I did not appreciate their behaviors nor their accusations that I am trying to ripped them off. I do not share the same name as my ex-girlfriend and there was zero reason for myself not to be given the special. read more

Awesome costumer service!! Was shocked because usually storage places don't come up high in personable people rankings. Celest was such a delight. I came in looking to move storage places because my other one was awful and she helped answer all of my questions. Prices aren't horrific either. Looking forward to the move! read more

Donna gave me amazing, speedy service! Very nice and personable! She stopped what she was doing to help me. Showed me the property, and reviewed everything with me. Great & quick service. Office staff were awesome.

Started out great, was told if I went online I could rent the unit cheaper, I went online reserved my unit, had appointment to sign and then I was told I had to purchase the 11 dollar a month insurance and it was mandatory. Then after about 4 months they notified me my rates will be going up beginning Sept 1. I feel this is a bait and switch tactic and very very unethical. I will be cancelling my storage and will not participate in their unethical business practices. My neighbor warned me of this since they did the same thing to him so this is definitely business as usual for these crooks. read more
