Recently, there was suspicious activity on my unit as well as several other units. I requested them to file a police report and they refused. Someone had placed a lock on my unit and others units. The storage unit drilled off my lock and put their lock on my unit and the following day my items were stolen. They refused to be held responsible, were dismissive and were unwilling to assist the police in investigating the theft. I was told by the district manager Amanda that I would need to file thru my insurance (raising my rates) and she couldn't discuss why she wouldn't assist the police as it was "company policy". This is not a secure facility. If you have a unit there, get your things out before they disappear.

What I found were a number of places nearby that have their units indoors meaning I don't have to stand in the sun when needing to access my unit, cleaner and newer facilities and same or lower price than your advertised discounted price. Communication was great. Eric and Miguel showed up right on time (one of those dreadful 110° Phoenix heat advisory days) and worked quickly and carefully. We were very happy to have found this company and are pleased to say they'll be our local movers going forward.

Just-In Time Moving truly helped me out of an emergency situation…read more I had originally hired another moving company, Not Your Husband Moving, and ended up in a terrible situation where I was billed for more than double the estimated hours for the move into storage and the move was not completed as originally estimated. I needed to get my household goods out of their storage quickly to stop the situation from getting worse. Just-In Time Moving was gracious enough to fit me into their schedule last minute. Their office was communicative, their estimate was thorough and clear, and the final bill matched what they estimated. The crew showed up on time, communicated throughout the day, and was professional, careful, and kind. This was not a simple move. They had to unload my furniture and belongings from storage crates, unwrap items that had been wrapped by the prior mover, take care with everything, rewrap my furniture, load it, transport it, and unload it into my new storage unit. They completed the entire job in 7.5 hours. By comparison, the prior mover had tried to bill me 16.5 hours for the move into storage alone. Just-In Time Moving did a fantastic job, and I am extremely grateful they were willing to help me on short notice. After the experience I had before them, their professionalism, clear communication, and honest billing meant everything. My advice to anyone hiring movers: read all reviews carefully, do not take online ratings at face value, check whether the company is listed with moversaz.org, review BBB ratings, and read how the company responds to 1-star and 2-star reviews. I wish I had done more research before hiring the first company. I am very thankful I found Just-In Time Moving when I did.

Don't be distracted by the new storage unit complex to it's south, Arizona Self Storage was a fantastic place to rent from! We had a very short-term lease of which I believe was a 10x20 ft unit. It was air-cooled (essentially a swamp cooler) but even when it was not running found it very comfortable and manageable for storage. The ease of a drive-up unit as well can't be matched! They allow you to use your own lock without throwing a fuss, have a very fair cancellation period, rates are fantastic, air-cooled was great, and the insurance for storage was fair. Overall can't recommend Arizona Self Storage enough if you have a trailer or are looking for a non-air conditioned unit with incredibly easy access! read more

Sherry, the manager, and Lindsay, the assistant manager of Arizona Self Storage located in Gilbert, give a whole new definition to Customer Service. By far, these are two of the most professional, friendly, compassionate, and helpful self storage service managers you'll ever meet. From renting storage units, renting trucks, helping us to staying within budget, and to even helping my wife move heavy items in one of our storage units, they were unbelievably outstanding. Storage units are everywhere, but managers that are as nice and helpful as these are truly exceptional!. Arizona Self Storage is a secured lot with many units ranging from 5x5 to 20x20 ( I only know this cuz I was looking for the best price on the biggest I could get...hence: I have a lot of CRAP!) SO needless to say they beat the competition and have pin pad secured entrance and someone living on the premises which made me feel a whole lot more comfortable and confident in the security of my priceless items! When we unexpectedly needed a storage unit near our house as part of a move, and approached Arizona Self Storage, they had exactly what we needed for a reasonable price. As we worked with them more, we found they ran a top notch operation and really watched out for us and our belongings. It was easy and friendly when I originally set it up, used auto pay so I never had to worry about being on time. just took my things out after almost a year and they were in great condition still. Great customer service! Great pricing. You can get non-cooled units or evap cooled units for those hot AZ months. Easy gate access. Great hours. Management there to help when you need them. They have Penske truck rentals on site which makes moving a lot easier! If you need a truck or storage this is the place to go! read more

I've used their "indoor" 5 x 15 unit, which allow you to park along the outdoor units and walk through towards a shaded hallway and access your unit. I then moved to a larger, drive up unit that fit my needs much more. Neither of my units have been particularly clean, with small remnants of trash, or dirt. Nothing major, but noticeable. The overall complex is a bit run done, with a rough around edges drive and key code areas. Other than the complex not being the shiniest? It is gated and I haven't had an issues or concerns with my units. Staff is always friendly and helpful when needed.
