Thank you for not honoring the prices posted on your website. Because you did and were not willing to offer a discount over your standard rate I looked elsewhere. What I found were a number of places nearby that have their units indoors meaning I don't have to stand in the sun when needing to access my unit, cleaner and newer facilities and same or lower price than your advertised discounted price. I moving from California I needed a clean safe place to store my belongings until my new home was ready. On September 29, 2021, While in California, I looked at the online photos of the facility; the physical site unseen looked very clean and new online so I reserved and paid. Upon arrival to the site on Sunday, September 12, 2021, I was taken back on how old and worn the place was, it looked nothing like the photographs advertised online. I realized how dumpy the place was; I immediately placed a call to cancel my reservation, this was Sunday the place was closed but I had access to the gate to tour. I left a message for a call back; today is Monday, September 13, 2021, I received a callback, I requested cancellation, because of the condition of the facility, I was basically told to pound sand, they were not going to refund my money. My opinion is to stay clear of this place. read more

People were very nice that I dealt with. We got a military discount which was nice as well. Only complaint: Told me at the beginning I would only need to give them 10 days notice to vacate, which I felt was great. When I gave notice that I'd be out on the 17th, I asked if they were going to prorate a refund for me. NOPE. Not a big deal, but taking off one star for effectively having to give 30 days notice. I just kept the unit till the end of the month, since no refund. read more

I was stuck on a Sunday with a moving truck to get my things out when my lock key didn't work. Thankfully the onsite manager was available to me off hours and even removed the lock at no charge! Everyone is really nice here. It was a simple process to get set up. I got a promo so the rate was less and fair. Not sure what it will go up to in 3 months. The place is fairly clean. Expensive. The people that run it are fairly nice. It's very secure, you have to enter a code to get in and out. It's not 24 hour accessible, but open from 7-7. Be prepared for all of your stuff to get COVERED in dust/dirt since none of the units are sealed in any way. Also make sure you check your stuff for spiders, various bugs, and lizards because it'll be full of them. They'll let you prorate in, but you'll have to pay for the entire month out. So if you move out on the 3rd guess what, you just paid for the entire month for it to be empty. read more

We moved a year ago and Gilbert self storage was close so stopped in. Great folks, really pleasant and showed us around. We liked the folks very personable and responsible. Easy access, no issues and easy to pay. If we ever needed storage again these are the first folks I would talk to. Stop in and just talk to them and you will see. No pressure. read more

I was at Gilbert self storage two months ago helping family move it was hot and we had a lot to do. When all of a sudden A Gilbert self storage employee came around in her golf cart her name was Martha she came just to see if we were all good and if there was anything we needed. With a very professional attitude And I'm pretty sure a smile but she was wearing a mask. There was a lot of us Family there,that's just how my family gets down. Family is always there for family. I think it was one of my cousins or my son wanted to fill up a cup of water he asked her where he could do so when she said she had cold waters back in the office at that point she asked all of us If we wanted water.She left and came back with water for all of us even though we were all Arizona residence and should know better to always carry water. Two weeks later I find myself in the position of needing a storage. And I start to remember how my family and myself were treated at Gilbert self storage but for me the location really wasn't convenient but in the end I still chose Gilbert self storage because I felt like family there‼ read more

This place is a dump. Security is a joke. The "site manager" was not available during office hours on our move in day, but showed up late, was very rude, and gave us a hard time when we were trapped inside the facility because the gate does not open past 7pm. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! read more

We just moved to Gilbert and need storage and found this place on the internet. They have plenty of room for our moving van to pull right up to our unit. The property is clean and well maintained. The big plus is that they offer extended hours for businesses, up to 24 hour access. If you need a space you should check them out. Ask for Allan or Kathy they are the managers. read more

I recently rented from this location. I had no problems. Everything was stated up front about policies, and yes it was said "no pro rate on move outs", ok so plan ahead. No hidden costs, and yes your stuff will probably be dusty, I basically compare it to an offsite garage. It is Arizona, there is dust and insects, therefore you will probably see both. They have air cooled and non, so I am assuming if you rent an air cooled you probably won't have much dust or insects since they are located inside an enclosed building. The rates are comparable to other locations, and they run specials at different times. Very nice office staff. Not to mention they always have free cookies and water available. read more
