I was at Gilbert self storage two months ago helping family move it was hot and we had a lot to do. When all of a sudden A Gilbert self storage employee came around in her golf cart her name was Martha she came just to see if we were all good and if there was anything we needed. With a very professional attitude And I'm pretty sure a smile but she was wearing a mask. There was a lot of us Family there,that's just how my family gets down. Family is always there for family. I think it was one of my cousins or my son wanted to fill up a cup of water he asked her where he could do so when she said she had cold waters back in the office at that point she asked all of us If we wanted water.She left and came back with water for all of us even though we were all Arizona residence and should know better to always carry water. Two weeks later I find myself in the position of needing a storage. And I start to remember how my family and myself were treated at Gilbert self storage but for me the location really wasn't convenient but in the end I still chose Gilbert self storage because I felt like family there‼ read more

Friendly, helpful, family-owned with professional staff.... I moved out of a previous storage unit after they never fixed the broken lock mechanism, and we had some things go missing. That place seemed apathetic about the whole thing. When we called up Gilbert Self Storage, they were immediately friendly, assured us that someone was on site 24/7, and that they are very secure. We found the place to be clean and well-managed with experienced staff working behind the counter who could help us if we needed anything. Once, when we were in a hurry, we forgot to fully lock our unit. They called us right away and let us know. Moving out was easy - they didn't charge us an extra month for not giving a full 30-days notice. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. read more

Not sure what Mike S. is referring to, possibly another company. Our stuff was NOT covered in dirt and all of the units are completely sealed and locked. Every unit has an individual alarm and you have to use a keypad to enter the property. We just moved to Arizona and the was a great place to store all our stuff until we were ready to move in our home. The best prices available in the area!! Professional office and managers, we are so happy with the facility. It is clean, reliable, and secure. They were awesome to work with. They were always happy to help and very kind. I was so pleased. I like this location - great rates / specials - the Owners live on site - no break-ins - I really like the only 7 to 7 hours - it's more secure in my mind - I don't know what Mike S is taking about - this is AZ - it's an outside stoarge place - if you don't wrap and cover your belonging's when you store them - don't blame anyone but yourself - I shopped around 1st and if you go to Public stoarge - it's pretty much 'crazytown' they don't know what they have and try and pressure you into signing (saying there's only One spot left ) - high rates etc - this is by far the bast place overall in Gilbert - go here 1st and save yourself the trouble - read more

I have rented several RV parking and storage spaces from Gilbert Self Storage for many years and have been extremely happy with both price and security. The previous manager was a little gruff, but the new management team is awesome! I own a business and need access to the facility beyond normal business hours and Gilbert Self Storage accommodates me, which is a huge benefit for me. Too easy and too nice. Everything I asked for was "no Problem". Very friendly service, I felt like I was dealing with long time friends. Great start up specials for everyone and even better ones for our military. They also extended the gate hours for me for a couple of days so that I could move all my stuff in and gave me a free lock..... oh and a cookie! :-) The facility is large and clean with storage units in all sizes. This place is great! Friendly helpful management with no BS... just the way i like. Video surveillance, live-in onsite managers, gated, and the bathroom is always clean:) There is RV parking available, A/C is available in some storage units and I rented a large unit that has access from both ends of the unit. We used this facility when we relocated from Maine. Stored both a trailer and had a lg unit for our furniture. Managers were so helpful and friendly. Even have fresh baked cookies and water in the office whenever we were over there. Also had a great VA discount. Highly recommend!!! read more
