She even stayed for another half an hour in case I needed any help. All in all, excellent service, with nice people too. One couldn't ask for more. I highly recommended their excellent services.

When I asked the procedure for closing out the unit, she fired a bunch of questions at me, to see if I had gone through the proper steps. I told her I didn't know the procedure as we just decided to close out the unit that day. That's why I was asking what the procedure was. She made us stop what we were doing and go put in the code for the gate. Then she said to stop in the office on our way out. She never explained the procedure. She informed us that it's all in the contract and again was unbelievably rude. We signed the paperwork and couldn't get out of there fast enough!!

I find it really shocking that I was charged a 27% increase on my unit for no reason or explanation. I called three times and left messages right after I was charged, as I thought it was an error on their end. I talked to Kyle and asked him why I was charged, and I was not notified by phone or email. Kyle said he would send in a complaint about it to corporate after our lengthy conversation, but it was not even done. I also told him because of the addition of $50 a month I would be leaving asap. I was sent a copy of the PDF increase 30 days after the increase was charged to my account. It shows on the PDF that they give their customers a 3-day notice for a 27% increase, which was $50 over my monthly payment. A 3-day notice, so their customers may not have an opportunity to make a decision to stay or leave. I have been waiting for a call or response but did not receive any communication from anyone at this location in this matter until I called back to confirm I already moved from this location. Sad that this company has to do this to make money by putting people in a difficult position of having to move or forced to pay this ridiculous increase. I will never use your company again and will share my experience with everyone I can, so they do get forced to make a decision like I had to. Again, it is really sad that this company has to take advantage of their own customers to make extra money. All together, it is a wrong and unethical practice. I can't imagine doing that to anyone in my business.

I had all of my home furniture stored here for a little over 2 years while waiting for my new home…read moreto be built. In October of this year, I noticed water damage and mold all over ALL of my furniture, clothes, shoes, kitchenware, and even brand new items I was storing. Turns out there was a roof leak right over my unit, which was noticed by cubesmart and ignored for months. Cubesmart's negligence and lack of customer care has cost me everything I own. I'm moving into a brand new home with nothing to put in it. I was given the run around for almost 2 months, just to be told by the manager that they don't have to help me. I was an excellent customer who was always on time with payments and never fussed about price increases or anything. I was thanked for being so kind when I brought up my issue to cubesmart- just to be told I'm not going to be helped. My insurance that I paid for helped me, however I paid for a service I did not receive, and cubesmart should 100% be held accountable for their actions and refund me for the 2 years of storage that I have nothing to show for. Not only did cubesmart know about this leak, they refused to do anything about it since "insurance can pay people out". Multiple units were leaking during active rain. If you have your belongings stored there I highly suggest you check on your unit. If you're thinking of storing your things here, don't. You will lose everything.

About 3 to 4 years ago, my Mom went with CubeSmart as she had to move for a while when having some…read morehealth issues. We kept it until we moved into our larger townhouse and had an awesome experience. We are going to be in our townhouse for about 2 more years until we buy a house, and we decided we wanted to free up some side space in our garage for a variety of reasons. It was starting to feel too "packed" in. When we decided on a storage unit, the first place I checked again was CubeSmart. I was very pleased to see that CubeSmart bought out the previous company who owned this location (Dominion). We visited on a Sunday and Ali was there to help us. He was extremely friendly, SO helpful, and took a good amount of time to show us 3 units around the place to help us decide on the best location for our needs. CubeSmart rates ARE SO affordable. I know rent raises after a while, but it is insane the rates some of the surrounding places are charging. We did shop around first, and CubeSmart outranked everyone else. This location has a large easy to park loading bay. Both elevators are right there in the loading area. They also have SECURED restrooms, that are available to tenants only, even if the office is closed which is huge. The facility is extremely CLEAN, well lit, and I love how safe it feels. Our unit itself is great. It was clean upon move in, the door is easy to move up and down, and the climate control is perfect. The location we chose is off the beaten path of the facility and I feel my stuff is safe. Access hours are between 6am and 10pm. Also, you can only use the elevators by entering your code. Additionally, your code will ONLY allow you to go to your floor. You cannot access any other floor (besides ground), that is not yours. I like that level of security. Although, we would RATHER not have a storage unit right now, just to have a small one to be able to help us not feel so cramped at home (we combined 3 households into one), we are so glad to be here. We met Karen as well, what a class act she is! Both Her and Ali are prime examples of what customer service should be, and to be honest, just good, GENUINE, people. We had some small challenges moving in (Not because of CubeSmart, but one of the elevators has been down for maintenance), and they both have been working so hard to bring it back up and running and are always willing to provide updates when we ask and help where they can. MY ONLY recommendation right now: To either open the ground doors for the carts and the elevators, you have to enter your code on the keypad. If the elevator is not right there and it has to come from another floor, by the time the elevator arrives, when you press your floor button, it doesn't register. I have had to step outside the elevator, enter the code again, then press my floor selection for it to be able to go. It will be tricky to do from the 2nd elevator. That would be the only TINY small downfall and an idea for a future improvement. But again, being so small, whatever. For future customers, keep in mind that the locks used at this location are Cylinder Locks. We brought in our old lock from when we used CubeSmart the first time at a different location, but the old company who built the building, used the Cylinder Locks so we were not able to use our lock. We did have to buy the lock but they have plenty in stock and are a VERY fair price. I acutally like how more secure they are and am okay with this. Key's are small, so be mindful and store carefully!
