My husband was driving a van to pick up and close out our unit. The gate was open, so he drove in. She chased us down in her golf cart, to inform us that we had violated the rules and should've entered our code. We apologized and proceeded to empty our the few things in our unit. When I asked the procedure for closing out the unit, she fired a bunch of questions at me, to see if I had gone through the proper steps. I told her I didn't know the procedure as we just decided to close out the unit that day. That's why I was asking what the procedure was. She made us stop what we were doing and go put in the code for the gate. Then she said to stop in the office on our way out. She never explained the procedure. She informed us that it's all in the contract and again was unbelievably rude. We signed the paperwork and couldn't get out of there fast enough!!

I was told I could move units for a better rate. I could actually go to any other unit in the building and save money. Going a size up on my unit actually saved me $32.00 per month. I'm currently paying almost $300.00 for my unit. My unit is advertised online for $107.00 as of today with the "high demand" that the customer rep told me drove my increases. This place is toxic and dishonest. They bury things in the fine print to allow them to legally take advantage of people that simply cave rather than repack all of their belongings to take them down the road. Additionally, our experience with the office staff was very disappointing. One employee in particular was unhelpful and unprofessional in handling the situation. Overall, the customer service has been extremely poor. We have also experienced unexpected rate increases, and if a payment is even one day late, the unit is immediately locked without consideration. The staff then act as though they do not recognize or recall prior conversations, which adds to the frustration. It's hard enough to be a single father in a state where you don't know anyone. Add moving or storing by yourself, and it sucks. First, I've never dealt with a more straightforward process and excellent pricing as I have here. This place is worth the price. What makes this place unique, though, is Natalie! In the deep recesses of a dark storage room came a bright light. I seriously thought it might be an angel or ghost . An angel was the correct answer. Natalie ensured I could get set up easily, offered to help, and told me she'd be around if I needed anything. The difference was that it wasn't that usual fake, "I have to do this" kind of thing. She didn't know that I was having a rough day and in those few moments, she completely turned it around. I'm not so annoyed with having to store things now !
