We have had Power Self storage for over a year while we were buying a new home. When we finally…read morepurchased a home and started moving our belongings from this place, we discovered our unit had been invested with TERMITES. We definitely did not have termites before moving our stuff in there and now we had to throw out loads of furniture, Christmas decorations including my brand new Christmas tree, and priceless paintings my husbands deceased grandmother made. We also had moved boxes to our new home before realizing there were termites in our unit and now have to pay to have our new home treated to make sure we didn't accidentally bring the problem home with us! The facility is taking NO responsibility for this even though this is definitely their PROBLEM! We even paid monthly for the extra renters insurance and it is not something their insurance even covers! When confronting the facility with this problem they basically told us we were out of luck and they don't protect their renters and that's why they suggest the insurance WHICH DOESNT COVER THEIR LACK OF MAINTENACE AND CARE!!! DONT RENT HERE!!!
