I appreciated being able to use their truck at no charge when moving in. The unit was clean and I never saw any bugs or rodents anywhere inside the building or unit. There were always several rolling carts available to use when moving my belongings to and from the unit. Having the motion sensor with text alerts gave me peace of mind that my belongings were safe. When he arrived at Rooms To Go to pick up my furniture, he made sure everything was loaded as quickly as possible so no unnecessary time was wasted. What impressed me even more was that he was determined to complete the entire job within the two-hour minimum I was already being charged for. He specifically told me he didn't want to go even one minute over if it meant I would have to pay more. That level of honesty and consideration for a customer's money is something you don't see very often, and I genuinely appreciated it. His crew was just as impressive. They were professional, careful, and respectful of my home. At one point, something got the floor a little dirty during the move. Not sure who the new owners are but the woman that runs this facility needs lessons in customer service. I have had a few issues with her but the most recent was Feb 2024. I had fraud on my bank account and my bank froze my account. They reopened a new account and wrote a letter to my creditors so that I would not be held accountable for late fees and such. I called A1 mini storage to advise of my issue and the gentleman that I spoke with advised to send a check when I got my new ones in and to send the letter as well. Which is what I did. The woman at the facility called me and asked about the payment and I advised that I had just sent it in along with the letter. I advised what the gentleman had said, she started raising her voice and advised this was not her problem, that I needed to pay the $25 late fee. I told her that in all my years I had never experienced the lack of customer service that I have from her. She just started yelling. I really think she has a mental problem because I didn't see a reason for her to carry on the way she was. She was screaming at me and I couldn't say a word so I hung up on her. The times before I just assumed she was having a bad day but this is not an excuse. Needless to say I paid the late fee and am NO longer a customer. I will never advise for anyone to rent from these folks and I hope that many more will go elsewhere. Too many rental facilities in the same area to be treated this way.
