We hired Apple to pack and move us across town due to a job relocation. Apple came recommended by our realtor, but I admit that some of the negative Yelp reviews gave us some concern. Turns out we shouldn't have worried at all. While I certainly can't comment on the circumstances with those negative reviews, I can say that our move was flawless with no problems. Best move we've had in 31 years of marriage. The Apple crews arrived on schedule and worked like Trojans to get our items safely packed and moved to our new home. No furniture damage, no dinged walls. Everything arrived in perfect condition. We couldn't have asked for more. Our contractor hired Apple to pack and load the contents of our home into a POD while it was under construction after a tree fell on it. Absolutely every single piece of furniture was damaged. I hired Apple Movers to pack and move. The move went OK but the packing was horrible. I purchased wardrobe boxes which normally contain a metal bar on which they hang shirts and suits. Instead, the packers just piled freshly drycleaned clothes into the bottom of a large carboard box and hung nothing. All of the clothes were wrinkled and had to be drycleaned again. The $50 box was a waste and the entire process ended up costing me hundreds of dollars to have all of my shirts and suits re-pressed. I do not recommend the packing service or purchasing the over-priced wardrobe boxes. read more

The move was supposed to be for 2 hours they showed up at 823 did not get out the vehicle and start till 830. They were finished by 10:25 they took time to close up the truck and load their dollies and stood around, then had me signed that the move was complete by that time it was 10:34 . I didn't know that the time you sign is the time they charge so they tried to charge me 100.00 more for 4 mins they went over standing around . They also charge a percentage if you use a credit card, there's also a travel fee of 110.00 that was not mentioned till i had already paid my deposit of 200.00. They had said I could pay the driver the remainder or I could leave it on my credit card. At the end of the move the driver argued with me that i owed 288.00 and needed to pay him I told him no i only owe 188.00 and it would be paid on the credit card they had on file. I want to emphasize that this company's performance has been absolutely unsatisfactory. I have given it a one-star rating as required by posting regulations. The consequences of my interaction with this company have been extremely negative. Even after eight months post-relocation, my damaged belongings are still unresolved. This negative review is entirely justified, and it is crucial for the company to seriously reconsider their actions. They mishandled several valuable items, including an 85" TV, which they attempted to conceal. They also completely destroyed several precious irreplaceable items. In my experience, they are the worst company I have ever worked with. I strongly urge you to avoid the headache and seek services from another company! I recently sold my house and needed to move my two story home into my new house, plus move a bunch of things to storage as well. Their rates are reasonable compared to alot of other moving companies in town. We were able to plan out our plan of attack and we made it happen. It took alot longer than expected, but I felt like they constantly worked except when I offered them refreshments and when they took a lunch. They took care of my furniture by wrapping it and covering it with blankets as to avoid scratches. I have a few difficult items like a pool table and an adjustable base bed, which they handled with extreme care. I have recommended them to others and I will use them again in a heartbeat. read more

I was in a bind when G&G movers had a break in on the their truck. I called around and Apple Movers said they can have someone come to my house for $99 the traveling fee and $149 for every hour. I used G&G Movers three times to move in different homes I was renting and each time the service was fast, amazing and consideration to our belongs. The total time would average 4-5 hours. Apple Movers arrived in 30 minutes, and for that I'm thankful for, with three movers. Cons: *There was NO sense of urgency. The job took 7 hours. *I was charged $35 for plastic wrap. Additional charges were not expressed when providing the price to me. *They charge if you use a card, thankfully I had cash, and paid $1,260... not including a tip for each mover, burgers, granola bars, beef jerky, Gatorade's, and water. Let me preface by saying the water is of course going to be offered, but they wanted to leave once loading our items to go and get lunch and would be back later. I advise I didn't feel comfortable with them taking my stuff for awhile so I'll pick up lunch for them. (I had to literally BEG G&G Movers to take a break because they were so focus on getting the job done. *They wanted to dissemble everything. I had to tell them to just load it because it's wasting time. *They didn't work together I expressed it may be beneficial if a mover was carrying something heavy his peer can help help him instead of waiting for him to pass. I don't recommend this business I had several things damaged and customer services was not interested or helpful and would only communicate through email. They claim to have insurance but only pay $.60 per pound which resulted in a take it or leave it over of $120 for a $2,000 piece to top it if they were rude about it. Horrible service! read more

I have been using Apple Movers for almost 10 years now but this last time was the worst. None of my furniture was wrapped before they started moving it and if that wasn't bad enough they were just piling items on top of stuff to move it like my book case on top of a chair or like the side rails for my bed that were placed on top of my nightstand that wasn't wrapped. When I informed them they had kind of knicked my book case one of the guys tried to lie and say that was there before they moved it (which it wasn't) when I informed them of the bookcase the one that tried to lie (who had attitude at this point) picked up my bookshelf and just dropped it back down I guess trying to weigh how much it is seeing as how they charge for damages by the weight of the item. Anytime I've used this company I've generally never had problems with them but this was very disheartening, have to say I probably won't be using them in the future anymore. read more

If there was a way to give negative stars I would! As of today, I have still technically not heard from the company in regards to my claim/service I received. I had to call the manager, mind you this is the manager the entire time I was trying to get someone to help me in regards to the claim I was speaking with employees and the employees had better customer service than the manager/owner of the company. I don't think I've ever experienced anything like this in customer service! The man literally told me he did not want to keep talking to me because he get I just wanted to argue with him! Who says stuff like that?! Then had the nerve to get an attitude with me because of the previous review I left for them!!!! He was very rude and expressed how much he was not happy with the review! Because of this, I received the customer I got, which by the way I felt like I was going back and forth with a teenager going through the change. He was not helpful and he actually encouraged me to come write the update to the review based on our conversation. He mocked me the entire we were on the phone, literally patronized me the entire conversation. He kept over talking me and would not let me speak because he said verbatim " I think you just want to argue and I don't want to be lectured by you!" Mind you like anyone else they would be upset based on the situation and not hearing from anyone for 2 weeks in regards to my situation, not a single word, call, follow up NOTHING! Honestly I'm not one to take the time to leave reviews but for this situation I wanted to help/save someone else the stress of having to spend their money with a company like this. The service I received when booking with them was great, but after they received my money everything else went to downhill and fast! They aired did call during the move about 2-3 times to check on everything but once I told them I have video proof of the time the drivers actually showed up and started working they cut me off. Apple movers was a local honest company when they made angie's list but since 4-5 years everything changed now they are a middle man making money out of who knows who mover crews. my last move on 2019 was a disaster. The crew didn't listen anything that I asked like put these first and those after. They took their time to charge more I mean really much more, they asked me to buy them a lunch and stole items. I even cought that my air pump was taken out from the box and hidden inside the truck. Luckily I checked inside, out of suspicion and I saw it was behind their material I said hey this is mine....and I put it in my car. There are very few things that separate us from the animals. The most important you ask? Thumbs. Why is it ever so important to own a set of these guys? Not just to open the pickle jar, my friend, but to raise them straight up when you are too elated to speak. Damn. What an awesome move. I have been stressing out for about 6 weeks for my pending move and Apple Moving was fantastic about everything along the way. Originally I wanted to move Saturday but all the spots were full. I was then informed that Sunday was available and cheaper! Hell yes I will wait 24 hours to save money. The customer service was great. Damita made everything so easy to set up and even gave me a coupon because I've referred people to them before. Moving day has now arrived and I'm not the worlds best packer. Sometimes I like to throw shit into a box that will not be able to shut. Oops. The movers were waiting at my house when I arrived (Which I was about 10 minutes early). I was told that there was going to be 3 movers but 4 men hopped out of the truck and began moving all my stuff out. Jank boxes and all. Anxiety starts to set in when you realize that you are doing absolutely nothing to help while men rush past you sweaty and tired. It was a terrible feeling not to be able to lend a hand but as a friend told me "You're payin' em so you can be lazy, so kick back". Good point friend. It's maxin' time. I have a 2 story house so I was convinced that it would take them at least an hour and half to get everything out. Nope. In 40 minutes everything was wrapped and in the truck. What a crazy thing to see your whole life in the back of a truck. Sobering moment for sure. Clocking in at a little under 2 hours everything was in my new apartment and where it belongs. Apple moving moved my family from Spring to Katy a few months ago. I wanted to post a review because they were very thorough and was able to take things apart I didn't even realize would have to be taken apart. Then when they put them back together, THEY STILL WORKED!! They were very well mannered and worked non-stop. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service. We hired movers for Sunday, 4/24/16 and were VERY unhappy with the service. Only one guy seemed to speak English so when they were asking where things went and I was directing them half the stuff was moved to the wrong place. So now we get to go re-move dozens and dozens of boxes within the house because they didn't understand us. Numerous boxes labeled VERY FRAGILE were tossed around without care, I have not even had time to go through all of them, so I wouldn't be surprised if picture frames & glass decorations weren't broken. I was literally chasing after the movers yelling "That's fragile!", or "Be careful! That's glass." which is absolutely ridiculous, if the box is labeled fragile, they need to be taking extra care on their own and not having the homeowner running around to ensure our belongings were not damaged. Numerous pieces of furniture, walls and door jams were dinged because they were rushing through and not taking their time around corners (this is a brand new construction, the house had ZERO dings prior to the movers coming in). Then to make it worse, one of the movers fell off the back of the truck and dropped our 1 year old Samsung dryer off the back of the truck onto the drive way & caused damage to the top, back, side and bottom!! And to top off the terrible service, the mover who fell off the truck and dropped the dryer tried to convince my husband not to file a claim if they plugged it in and it worked fine.He said he might get his pay docked if we filed a claim. Although I am sympathetic, since I know it was an accident, that is totally unprofessional and ridiculous to try to get out of the responsibility of repairing the damage. I have contacted the company, and will update once they have had a chance to evaluate the damage. read more

Apple Moving was the best move possible! It is always work of the hard variety. I have moved 34 times previously in my life, anywhere from a few blocks to over 2,500 miles. This was the least painful move I have ever done! I packed the boxes in the week before Apple arrived (on time) and had them waiting in the garage, arranged by room. They moved all boxes and ALL the heavy stuff everything(!), except the flammables. They loaded and drove the whole house worth of stuff to the new place 55 miles away. They put the boxes and all in the rooms as marked or needed. No damage occurred at all! I cannot recommend Apple and Miguel and Crew highly enough! I will use them at any time in the future. I used Apple Moving for a move June 2020. I didn't go far, but it was a 3-bedroom house. Raining when they arrived so they mostly took things thru the attached garage. All the furniture was wrapped and prepped before being loaded. At the new house, to save time and confusion, I had all the boxes put in the garage while they put furniture in the rooms indicated. In total the move took 7 hours. Miguel and his team (Derwin & Arturo I think) were efficient, polite, and hard workers. In the office Joycelyn was very helpful scheduling the move and texted during the day to check in. Absolute worst moving experience of my life. We had used Apple about 6 years ago and they were fine. They accidentally cracked the glass in my front door. But no big deal. This time , a few weeks ago, was a nightmare. It all started when their lead man looked at me and said "You have a lot of junk!" I told him that we worked hard for our things and none of it is junk. He responded, "well I call it junk!" We were moving into a two story house in Waters Edge so we do have several rooms of furniture. However the day just started with their unprofessional behavior. We had every box clearly labeled and every room at the new house labeled as well. My wife was also there to direct them. Even then they just pulled boxes off the truck, read the top box and put everything in that room. We are still unpacking because we run our own businesses and still finding boxes in the garage or the wrong rooms. On top of that multiple pieces of our furniture, all from Gallery Furniture, were scratched or torn. Door jams were scratched up and the mahogany stair railing was gouged in two places. And on top of all of that they decided to leave and told me I could move the last little bit left in the garage in my truck, along with all of their lunch trash and all the empty soda cans they left. After reading the reviews, I was extremely hesitant to use this company, but a friend recommended them. I expressed my concerns when calling and decided to give them a chance, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The movers were early, and waited for us to arrive (on their own time). We were coming from another state, so were unable to meet them until our designated time, but they unloaded us quickly and professionally. They even set up our furniture in the bedroom quite nicely. Our bed was ready for a nap after the long drive and move-in procedures with apartment office.
