These guys were amazing! No messing around, they came in ready to work and got it done! Very nice and kept me informed about any issues that came up while moving. Expert Movers was a great choice for my moving needs. For a four-man crew, I believe the price was very reasonable given their high level of efficiency for a 4-bedroom home. I did read through several reviews before booking this company, and while I believe the experiences of those who left positive feedback turned out well for them, that was not the case for me. I originally had no intention of writing a review, but when I finally had help to move one last large item and discovered it too had been broken and hidden, it pushed me to share my experience. This last discovery made it clear that the move ended up being more costly and ineffective than it was helpful for me. I even went out of my way to provide the movers with drinks and let them pick their own music to help make the job easier, yet despite that, the effort and courtesy on my part was not reciprocated in the care of my belongings. I would not recommend this moving company. While the movers were polite, the overall quality of the move was extremely disappointing. Several of my items were damaged, and rather than acknowledging it, the movers either pretended not to notice or acted as if they didn't know what I was talking about--even when caught in the act. At one point, they were opening boxes that were already packed and closed, which made me very uncomfortable. One large item was placed in backwards towards the wall, and when I finally had help to move it months later, I discovered broken parts that had simply been stuffed back in and wrapped to hide the damage. They also broke my TV stand, attempted to put it back together while I was watching, and told me that it was fixed. When I attempted to move the stand the pieces that they claimed to have fixed completely fell apart. I was left with something completely unusable. I ultimately had to deconstruct and replace the stand at my own expense. They also scratched the walls of my brand-new home while I was watching, again denying any responsibility. Some small items went missing during the move and were never accounted for. To make matters worse, they even tried to charge me for time that they weren't working, and I had to rely on my home security cameras to prove the actual start time. In the end, the only person who showed accountability was Eliza, the woman who scheduled my appointment, who refunded me for some of the damages. Unfortunately, this does not undo the stress, the cost of replacement, and the lack of honesty and care shown during the move. Overall, this company was not honest, careless with my belongings, and unwilling to take accountability for the damage they caused. I would strongly caution anyone considering them to look elsewhere. read more

Anyway, this was our 4th move over the last 10 years, we we've experienced 4 different companies. Expert Movers were far and above the best. They took care of our furniture and didn't break a single item! The last 2 companies broke the legs of 3 chairs and an antique French bathroom table. We had a 6 person crew and they were very nice and professional. It was an all day move and based on previous experiences, was a bit anxious as the day wore on, that the crew would start getting cranky. Not these guys! They were fantastic to the end. I was helping my family make a very sudden move from Houston to Dallas. I reached out to some companies and Expert movers reached out with a great estimate. Eliza is a fantastic salesperson and really cares about the company, and was willing to work with my various requests. My parents moved from a 2 story home in Houston. Edwyn and 3 other workers arrived at the house, and they quickly and very efficiently disassembled, wrapped, and moved our furniture. Some were very heavy, but the guys were great! Once the truck was fully packed, they drove it to Dallas the next day, unloaded and assembled all furniture the same day. We were all in awe, and felt so blessed so find a great service with these guys. We cannot speak more highly of them- I hope they don't change their service level. I would suggest you mention exact square footage of home, how many bedrooms, office, etc you have so that they can give you an accurate estimate. Otherwise they may not carve out enough hours to do the move. We fed our movers and tipped them very generously, because they seriously deserved it! Highly recommend. read more

Affordable and hard working. We stupidly used morris shipping and storage to help my dad move and they charged almost $1000 for a 16 foot truck, and didn't even finish the job! Absolutely horrible company and terrible experience. Expert movers saved the day! They finished the move super last minute and worked quickly. They brought a large truck and the guys were pros. We hired them (3 men crew) to move our two bedroom apartment. Although we have many more hands (friends of mine) to help them, they took 5 hours to finish their job, The worst part was that they charged me an additional fee to move an upright piano even though it was included in my original request. To make it worse, when moved it, they broke the lid. They didn't want to be responsible to the damage, not only on the piano but also with other furniture that they damaged. The first problem is they were 15mins late. Then they showed up with a small trailer to move a 2BR apartment. They cram all my stuff into the trailer!! There was 3 guys and they took multiple smoke breaks. which I took pictures of! Then after they got the stuff loaded to go to the new place. I get a call from Eliza telling me they are taking a 30min lunch break! I have never in my life has a moving company take a lunch break on me! You get me moved then take a break! I was Never told they were going to be taking a lunch break. That inconvenience me and my time. BEWARE!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! They were late. Window was for 8-9 they showed up at 9:25 They sent me two movers that took their time. A three hour move for only the big items and they took several cigarette breaks and other breaks. Took 8 hours they even stopped before getting to my drop off location for 25 mins to eat while I waited for them to arrive. You would think in 8 hours an apt would be completely moved but was no where near finished. I messaged their people and didn't get a response. Very unprofessional and lazy!!! They were so old too I could've got my grandpa to help move quicker than these two. Also several assembly screws and bolts were missing from things.. you're lazy bottom line and no I'm nowhere near as old as you lmao you're a joke even the neighbors were telling me they couldn't believe you were movers. Last year we used U-Haul and a service through them for moving, it's was horrible, we needed help but after last time we were hesitant. I was still hesitant until they showed up and started working, 3 guys all professional, they called when they were on the way, which was in the time frame we picked. They worked hard and very fast, they help us pack some things, like the glass stuff. Nothing was broken or damaged. They went above and beyond even, hooked up washer and dryer, helped us install on tv on the wall. For their good service and hard work we bought them lunch. The price was very reasonable also, we paid 5 hours and thought it would take longer, so we got a flat rate, we had a 45 minute drive, they finished in 4 hours with the driving even.
