So much frustration with this establishment. Tried to go once, they should have been open but they weren't. There was a bartender moving around, probably trying to open up but running behind. It was frustrating, but forgivable. Second time, put ourselves on the wait list online, then walked in the door to no hostess and a sign to check in at the bar and seat yourselves, but there was a long line to check in. Waited about 15 (past when the online check-in said we would have been seated) and had made negligible forward movement, so we bailed and went to dinner somewhere else instead. If you like to interact with more people than just your date, sit at the bar. The owner is super friendly and so are the other bar tenders. I haven't been back in months but when I did go, there was a bar tender named Peter and he was engaging and fun. The guy I was dating at the time and I always had a good time laughing it up with Peter. Fantastic, unique cocktails and good greasy food to help absorb the alcohol. I very rarely post review on Yelp and I hesitated for a while to post a review for Belltown Provisions knowing that it's going to be the next iconic Seattle cocktail spot. But I have to admit; this is the best cocktail place I've ever been to. They opened this year (during the pandemic) and it's worth making a special trip to Belltown. There are only 9 drinks on the menu, and my date and I had 4 of them. They were all excellent. My favorite was "we pillage, we plunder" which the owner brought out after getting a sense of my favorite flavor profile. Honestly, I found my favorite cocktail this weekend. A cocktail lesson at this place would be the perfect birthday or office party, classy and intimate. read more

Popped in here to grab a couple quick drinks to start the evening off and it was great! The establishment is rich and dark with velvet couches, copper ceilings, tables and chairs. The accent wall provides the logo which captures your eye when you first walk in. The bar has many spirits and the barkeeper Joey was pleasant and welcoming! He provided great suggestions for our different palettes. I do love a good margarita and Joey has this down perfectly. Beautiful presentation, perfect amount of heat and it was really easy to go down. The other drink ordered was on the sweeter side and just as good. Belltown used to be one of my favorite places to grab a drink in downtown, I would usually recommend to guests when they would visit. Unfortunately last night has changed my mind. Came in around 9:30pm after a show, the bartender took a shot of Evan Williams before taking our order, when I asked for water after ordering a cocktail the bartender told me there was water in my drink and the proceeded to ask my partner if I was always this difficult. Bro, what? He said if we sat down he would bring us water. He never brought any and our cocktails tasted exactly the same for being two different drinks. I'm not sure what happened to this place, but damn. I can't recommend this anymore. read more

We had no idea this was a new place and stumbled in after a night out in Belltown. I asked the bartender Joey to make me something with rum that's spicy and he delivered the most delicious cocktail ever. We also asked him to freestyle a bourbon cocktail and it was incredible. Hearing him explain the ingredients/methodology, it was extremely evident that he was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. The drinks are fabulous (the Sylvan is my favorite), the food is delicious (get the meatball sliders, chicken bites, and gumbo mac - you won't regret it), the service is friendly and on-point (the owner Jon is so nice and welcoming), and the ambiance is intimate with a variety of seating options. Amazing spot for beautiful drinks and light eats. I had the Summer Bear (sweet and tangy gin drink) and my husband had the Lazy Day (like a boozy Arnold Palmer with fresh citrus and mint). Both were incredible! We also had the Ahi Crispy Rice -- it felt like and inside out sushi roll and was the perfect small plate to compliment our drinks. The tuna does have a little spice, but the bed of sesame crispy rice balances it perfectly. Inviting atmosphere with low lighting and gorgeous furniture. From the planning stages, working with the Owner was a breeze. He was kind and on board with helping bring our vision to life! The event was amazing! The Belltown Provisions team went above and beyond, was kind, diligent, skilled in their craft, and had a sense of urgency as far as food/drink wait times went. The Food and Cocktails were amazing. They even stayed open late for us!
