For BCS, this is about as good as it gets so take this review with that bit of context. Note that it's seat yourself (it says so on the doors) so as soon as you arrive, find yourself a table! We've had a few different burgers here - from El Jefe to the Portobello mushroom. Each have decent flavors (if a little lackluster). The fries as extra so know you're basically just ordering a burger. The tacos are okay. The staff don't know beer so have your Untappd app ready to go if you're looking for an honest review or recommendation on a good draft or bottled beer. read more

So I went again with friends and had a much better time! The vibe at night must be the only time to go. The service was good. There was no seating available so we sat at the bar. I got the dreamsicle ice cream martini which was a perfectly sweet drink for the long hot summer night, did a fuzzy nipple shot which was yummy, and got the Parmesan fries and the chuc Norris burger which was juicy and delicious! It was eh, not memorable but not terrible. They seemed under staffed and overwhelmed. No clean table to sit at. But they were running around taking orders and checking tables. The food, also eh. My waitress Chloe was awesome!!! Drinks were tooooo weak. Not worth it and definitely won't go back. Long Island, Red Bull vodka, mamacita marg, shot of tequila, shot of sawtooth. Everything was very watered down. Good hard earned money shouldn't be wasted on that. Especially on Cinco De Mayo . Drinks take so long to get to you as well. The burgers were good, fun presentation, wrapped in paper on a tin plate. Both the regular fries and sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked and the atmosphere was fun, TV's in the booths. My college freshman said she'd come back with her friends which adds to the cool points. I kept hearing about this place for the tacos but we ordered one and no one at the table could eat it. We thought we ordered just a meat taco but it came in a sauce that was off setting to the mildness we were expecting. If it wasn't for the taco and the rainy day I would give 5 . I will definitely go back just because If I'm in Downtown Bryan hanging out with friends/family it's a cool local place with good service and good burgers. read more

Tacos are delicious. I ordered the ranch hand and the Pablo Pescado. Would definitely recommend. The burgers are a different story. While it did taste good, The burger is $10 for the smallest burger I've ever eaten. Also, If you're going to make a smash burger, make sure the bun is proportional to the meat. Update 1/16: I took away two stars after my recent experience. The most critical point I need to make in this review is I saw a waiter grab food off of a costumers plate before serving it to a table and eat it (It was just fries but still)! I also witness wait staff use their bare hands to move food around touching folks take out food. Went here with my S.O. The place a was pretty full, however the waiter we met when walking in encouraged us to sit where ever we liked. Unfortunately there were three tables in the front 1/2 that were still cluttered so we had to sit in the hallway towards the bathrooms. I was a little disappointed because I noticed three waitstaff were hanging around talking rather than cleaning up the tables so we could sit in a more desirable location. We ordered the fire house burger and guac-a-doodle-doo burger they were good for the price point but not as good as Grubs burgers. In hindsight I am glad we sat in the back as I would have never known the unprofessional behavior that occurs back there. Original review: Wonderful bar/ restaurant to study at. The service was amazing, probably the best I've had in Bryan since moving here. The guacamole burger is fantastic! The alcoholic milkshake did not have enough ice cream in my opinion.
