Pistachio cake. Yummm

Great location and service with more parking than I thought. Great drinks and straightforward menu. The pistachio cake was fantastic!

Calamari

Great drinks, and the best outdoor seating space in the area. We like to go for a late lunch to guarantee ourselves a table in the sun! This time, we got the whisky blackberry lemonade, and the cucumber gin cooler. Both were very refreshing for the oncoming beautiful weather. (Be warned, they are strong!) The coconut shrimp appetizer is our favorite, this time we got the calamari as well. Everything felt fresh, light and fluffy! A table nearby got some pizzas which looked great as well, and we will need to try next time. Emily was great, and provided excellent service. We will be coming back!

Been here a few times for happy hour and dinner. It's an okay place to grab beers and average American pub food.

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.

Food: The portion sizes here are very generous, I kind of regretted ordering an appetizer after seeing how large the pot pie was. On the flip side, the food was great so I ate the entire thing. Great food and enough to have your fill and bring some back home for leftovers. Service: The service was standard, slightly longer wait time but that may have been due to an event happening at the same time. Ambiance: Very well-decorated interior. You can read up on it on the menu, almost all elements inside have some kind of history to it. Sections are spaced apart well, so you can enjoy your meal while kind of being away from the bar areas.

The staff was fantastic and they knew so many people by first name since there's a lot of hotel guests here each night. For my dinner, I went with the fish and chips, and I enjoyed it. The food arrived incredibly fast and it was all correct. The portions were pretty good for the price, but this is New Jersey and in a hotel. The coleslaw was the only thing I didn't really enjoy from my dinner. Overall, cool Irish pub vibe inside the Hanover Marriott. Great staff and above average hotel food.

The space recently underwent an extensive renovation to provide a more up-to-date aesthetic while still maintaining its welcoming, casual ambiance and Ireland-inspired decor. The menu puts an emphasis on Irish and English pub favorites -- including fish & chips, bangers & mash, shepherds' pie, chicken or sweet potato pot pie, and corned beef and cabbage -- all of which are well-executed. Our party of four started with two appetizers -- the Roasted Brussel Sprouts ($14), served with cider whiskey glaze and bits of freshly cooked fresh bacon, and the Soft Pretzels ($12). My dining companion commented that the glaze on the Roasted Brussel Sprouts was a bit too whiskey-forward for her preferences, but I thought it was pretty good. I opted for the Fish & Chips ($28), comprised of two large pieces of beer-battered deep-fried haddock served over crispy steak fries and 'Mushy Peas', tartar sauce, and curry dipping sauces. The dish was very tasty and very filling. I wound up taking home a piece of haddock and some fries for lunch the next day. My dining companion opted for the Glazed Salmon ($28), a grilled salmon filet with a grain mustard glaze and served alongside mashed sweet potatoes and sauteed spinach, which she enjoyed very much. Although our server was handling most of the tables in our section, she was attentive without being overwhelming. We will be back soon! PRO TIP #1: Dublin Pub does have a small private parking lot that fills up quickly, but there is plenty of on-street parking on South Street and Pine Street. Bring change or use the ParkMobile app for the meters ($1 per hour) Monday through Saturday from 8am til 6PM; all street meters are free Monday through Saturday after 6pm and all day on Sunday. If you can't find a spot on the street, the Morristown Parking Authority DeHart Street garage (@ 13 Dehart Street) or lot (@ 12 Wilmot Street) are a short walk to the Dublin Pub.

At first, the maitre d notified us it would be a 30-45mins wait for five of us-- she then caught us outside to let us know since we had kids they'd be able to fit us in a booth-- shout out to Lea for her kindness and service!! We were ready to wait until closer to 30mins but we were grateful they were able to accommodate us right away especially with the busy weekend. I must say service was great, the food was great, the vibes were great. Overall such a great experience even with a busy weekend. I started off with the Dublin Toddy- delicious. It was nice and citrusy. We also started with the deviled eggs and potato skins. The seasoned bagged wings were very good as well-- seasoned well with cumin and fried peppers. They are a must try. Very filling too. My entree was the Corned Beef Hash. It was very savory and flavorful. I recommend that also, the egg wasn't over-hard or easy it was just right. We end our meal with a Dublin Drop or the "Irish Car Bomb" -- but we couldn't drop the shot in, we had to pour it in-- which still hit the spot, was a nice "end to the meal" Cheers

Obviously the outside is traditional to the moon but once you go in it is a mix of character and new age bliss. They only have one happy hour special at the moment which is a beer, a burger and a shot for $10 which can't be leaked. Unfortunately I wasn't opting for the burger but I was able to get a beer and add a $2 shot to get the most bang for my buck. The tap collection is a great mix. It's one of the few places that has a a selection of local New York Piers, including harp lager, but then you always have your traditional Sam Adams, which this time was a winter white air and of course PBR. The beers come in 10 oz mugs which is an interesting size. They range from $5 to $8 at this moment. And the well liquor is not the type that will give you a headache unless you're just drinking it in excess. When I came there was no one there but it was a slow Monday. Either way the service was great. The music mix was fun and very diverse as well as they have three TVs that you can adjust. Pool tables, arcade game. Retro lounge chairs with a cute custom table. I'm a sucker for a bar where I can go by myself until the home and this one did the trick. Prices are reasonable but I miss the $3 beer days lol Since I didn't get the food and I do think the price is a bit high for the area and giving it four stars. But honestly for what it is I would pay a dollar extra for a beer here versus some other places.
