6 weeks later Prolite Auto Glass has refused to contact me about a solution regarding the installer installing a cheap Chinese windshield that obviously has defects. I was in contact with Prolite's customer service "Princess" regarding the issue but every answer is very cryptic and unhelpful telling me to wait but it has been over 3 weeks since I told them about my ADAS camera being misaligned. I've called and texted multiple times but get the same response to just "wait". I should've picked a different shop to do business with. Their manager "Lily" will not contact you if you have an issues regarding the quality of their work. 1/5 stars I do not recommend doing business with Prolite. Poor customer service, low quality workmanship, unresponsive management. read more

I don't think its possible to have a better experience with an auto repair business than what I had with ProLite. I found them through Yelp when a rock put a giant crack in my windshield. I reached out to several auto glass repair shops, and ProLite was the first to respond. Nick then called me the next day to help me set everything up with my insurance and made the appointment for the next day. Due to some unforeseen circumstances I ended up having to reschedule to the following week, and again Nick called to confirm everything with me and ensure it all worked with my schedule. When I arrived to Prolite I had my 3 year old and 10 month old in tow - not the best circumstances for getting work done to your car. But Nick met me in the parking lot, HELPED ME CARRY MY STROLLER UP THE STAIRS for us to relax in their lobby, and even offered the lobby television up to us to help entertain the kiddos. It look a total of 90 minutes, 30 minutes less than what he quoted me, and the other guy who was working on my car once again HELPED ME CARRY MY CHILD AND STROLLER DOWN THE STAIRS. He waited patiently while I buckled the kids back into the car, all the while commiserating with me about his own kiddos. The entire experience was honestly just lovely. I never thought I'd use that word to describe a windshield repair, but it was. I had absolutely no stress through the entire experience and couldn't recommend them higher. Top-notch service! The tech was out on time to replace my windshield. I did notice soon after that driving that my rear-view mirror was a little loose and my windshield wiper blades would make a noise every time, I turned on the ignition. So, I worked closely with Princess, and she was able to get him back out quickly to fix both of the issues. They work great now, and I love the extremely clear view through my windshield. read more

My drivers side window would not roll down so they told me to order a new regulator and motor and they would come and install. They got here and took my door apart and told me that I had the wrong motor. I went back to the store and confirmed it was the right motor and asked them to come back to install And then Prolite said they didn't want to do the job anymore because it was too difficult. Don't waste your time they clearly do not know what they are doing. read more

I drive a lot on the highways here in Arizona, as many will know that means a ton of cracked or chipped windshields. I found ProLite years ago and they have done several replacements and fixes on my cars. I had heard of another place being advertised all over the radio and dinner with the replacement, let me say biggest mistake of my life to try someone else. ProLite not only fixed the other companies screw up, but they fixed my other cars windshield. I know they give rebates, that isn't the reason I go to ProLite. They are fast, friendly and do the job right. If you need a replacement on repair trust ProLite to do it right. They are my go to company, learned my lesson once and won't try anyone else read more

I replaced my windshield 05/05/2021. I was referred by a friend due to the $100.00 they give you for the windshield replacement. A few things bothered me 1) When I arranged the appointment I told the person I was at work 7:15AM-3:45PM. I specifically told her that I leave work at 3:45PM. She told me they would have the install done between 10AM-2PM. They called me when they arrived at 1:20PM. They finished the install at 3:30PM (over 2 hours later). It was then that they told me I cannot drive my car for 1 hour. I now am not able to leave work until 4:30 to pick my daughter up because I don't want my windshield to slide down like they told me could happen. 2) I felt they were a little unprofessional The showed up in a regular white van with no identification outside of the van. Maybe add a decal to the van with the name "ProLite Auto Glass" on the outside? When they stepped outside the van (the two men) they weren't very friendly. They also were dressed in what seemed like regular clothes (neon shirt, can't remember what the other guy was wearing) I did see one logo on one of their shirts. 3) When I went to sign for the windshield replacement they didn't go over any of the stuff I was about to sign for. It wasn't until I asked them about if there was any rules that they guy replied "Oh, yeah you can't do this, this and this". A little professionalism goes a long ways! read more

This is the worst place to schedule with. They tell you a date ask for pictures. When we sent them they thought the crack in the ceiling was in the windshield. They were not interested in our business. Finally got them to schedule an appointment and they made us another excuse why they could not complete the job. Maybe come out and look at the crack if you can't tell by the picture. There are 100 places that will look and fix the crack on inspection. Don't bother wasting your time. Took over a week to get an appointment!! Terrible. read more

My records are showing installation dates of 4/18/2018 / 02/09/2019 / 02/27/2020 and 03/28/2020 for my 2012 Tacoma... ProLite has always provided very Professional and quality work.. Feb 2019, I had a water leak into the Blower and passenger floorboards, I discovered that the "louver" had a broken window clip that left a gap above the blower allowing water to flow directly into the blower (its a plastic piece, molded into louver, that runs along bottom of window above the engine and blower.. ) Since the Truck was 7 years old and had a few windshield replacements, I paid for a replacement ($375.77 / with all new associated pieces ) which fixed the water leak.. Feb 2020, I had a needed replacement windshield installed, and it was a perfect and professional job.. A month later, a large object (FWY) damaged the windshield, and I scheduled again for a replacement.. Again with a careful and professional installation, Completing the Job, I noticed the wrong Windshield, even though I very carefully ordered with phone sales (wrong windshield / no shaded top / and the wrong windshield trim / from Feb 2020 installation) After a few days, I took truck thru a wash, and water quickly flowed into the passenger floorboards.. It was obvious what the problem was, and I ordered a replacement louver ($330), and called Prolite.. Prolite wanted to send a tech out to fix the leak, but after arrival at the end of that week, he called the office and confirmed the plastic clip (molded as part of the whole plastic piece) was broken.. Prolite was not willing to pay anything for the replacement louver, and after multiple call's, and minimal return calls, they said they would pay for 1/2 the cost ($150 - ?) .. I called and discussed payment for the replacement cost, and that 1/2 would be $165 anyway.. With more calls, I finally received a voice message that they messed up with handling this and a check would be in the mail (received 5/8/2020). While I have received professional, and careful installations, it is troubling that this broken louver was handled ($165) very poorly, and would have been better integrity to pay for the replacement cost ($330).. Had the louver been 5+ years as before, but only 1 year and 2 windshield replacements, it was a short time frame.. PS, The installer was very careful and professional.. Its just plastic, no matter how careful the installation is, they can be broken if not installed correctly (Over vs under clip) .. read more

Not very happy with how they did the job on our Audi A7. I initially thought the price out of pocket was very competitive, but then I changed my mind. The guy who came to our house to repair the chips on the windshield told me that two out of three chips were way to small to be repaired. Okay that's fine, but at least we expected the bigger one to be fixed completely. Long story short, it only took five minutes and the chip was only partially repaired...I had the job done by other companies before and never had this issue but okay. This has been a horrible experience!! They used to be great, but this go around they sent a tech who didn't speak English and brought his two.monor children with him to replace my windshield. He marked up the interior of the car with a sticky, tar like substance. The rear view mirror now has wires hanging out of it. The rear windshield looks like an animal attack took place while they replaced that window. Then they tell me they are coming to my house on Saturday to have the lead technician resolve everything. NOBODY CAME. NOBODY CALLED!!! I'll be taking this up with them in small claims court and with my insurance company first thing Tuesday morning! This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. This place is no good!!! Go anywhere else. Go somewhere they stand behind their workmanship! Not just say they do. Nick - it's time for you or another member of ownership to step in and resolve this immediately. If not, we will be in court and I will absolutely shove it down my insurance companies throat that this is how the situation has been handled. read more
