As a Jeep owner, going through windshields is common if not a frequent occurrence. I've always just done the "go to Safe Light" route ever since I've owned a car really. This time, my windshield cracked right up the middle from one end to the other. A friend of mine suggested Mountainside Glass and couldn't say enough about them. I thought I would give them a try and was happy to see they were on my insurance's "preferred" list. Setting up the claim was a piece of cake, and the team at Mountainside took great care of me. I don't normally do reviews, but this time I had to be sure I spread the word about these guys. The technician communicated with me from the time he started heading my way until he was done and was such a pleasure to work with. The replacement was fast and the result was AMAZING. Never in my 35+ years driving cars/replacing windshields have I seen such a great job. Usually there is the black glue "goop" that's been squished out around some of the edges on the inside. I couldn't believe it, not a drop. It looks like the day I bought it! He vacuumed up the front of the Jeep and washed the windows. Put instructions right on the blue tape for how long before I could drive it and when I could remove the tape. I cannot recommend these guys enough. I had the most amazing experience with Mountainside Glass - A Family Company!!! After a misdiagnosis from a nationwide auto glass company, Mountainside Glass saved the day AND my sanity. After being on multiple phone calls with my insurance company for 2+ hours along with a previous failed repair from the other auto glass company, I was referred to Mountainside Glass in hopes that they can help me fix my Yukon's broken rear window. They were very detailed in their research to make sure that they had the correct parts to do the repair, and asking all the questions that would help make this situation as smooth as possible (which the other company did not do.) Debra was so wonderful, she was very thorough with her communications to both myself and the techs to make sure everything aligned correctly. My insurance company called Debra to gather information about my claim, and at the end of my call with the insurance company, the representative said that Debra made everything seamless and everything was taken care of in less than 10 minutes!! After the laundry list of parts/issues that the previous auto glass shop gave me (in which I shared with Debra), the Mountainside tech drove 30 miles to where my vehicle was stored to visibly double check those issues. Turns out I didn't need all of those extra parts that the other auto glass company said I needed to repair, but they were able to fix my vehicle right then and there and they were super fast with the repair!!!
